Current I think I'm Advanced+ level and could do that. But under Adv, I feel compelled to write a certain way and it makes writing feel more like a chore even if it's just in my head. Thus, I prefer Casual

Many people equate "Advanced" to "Big, high effort posts with lots of flowery language." It's a habitual thought I struggle to shake as an RPer with 20+ years of writing experience. It's very draining

Oh dang, it really got that bad, huh? Hey, don't worry about it, take good care of yourself! Get well soon!
Admittedly, I was personally hoping for a little more interaction between the party members, but the posts are taking longer to roll in than I expected them to, so it might be okay to move on anyway xD We might have more actual interaction time later once the group has kinda settled a bit more
Heheh, I certainly expect this optimistic, cheerful demeanor to be tested eventually~ xP
Hope it's fine if I post again, because I liked this meeting and the idea just jumped to my mind and I needed to get it down before I forgot...plus I am eager for Tanrith to finally get to interact with a PC xD

"Oomph!" Tanrith grunted as he suddenly felt somebody push past him. In his awe at the crystalline dragon before him, he had failed to register the call of the incoming newcomer. Thus, he was easily pushed aside since he certainly wasn't ready for it. This finally snapped him out of his trance of awe and he shook his head, turning to face the new...human girl? Well, she looked like a human anyway, though he knew better at this point than to assume anything about anyone in these parts of the multiverse.

He opened his muzzle for a moment, tempted to point out that he was right here and that she should ask next time...but now that he was post-trance, he heard what she was actually saying. And instead of trying to tell her off, his excitement suddenly came back to him as his tail wagged excitedly behind him.

"I know, right!?" Tanrith exclaimed as he practically jumped over to the human's side, simply excited to have possibly met another dragon enthusiast. "Aren't they awesome!? I think they were just about to answer a buncha my questions, but I-oh, wait, sorry, I'm supposed to introduce myself first, right? I'm Tanrith, otherwise known as the 'Lightning Fang of the Stormclaws!'" He put a lot of emphasis on his epithet line. "Nice to meet'cha!" he extended his claw for a moment, but then hesitated. "Oh, whoops! Heh. Right, forgot I was still kinda all wet. Sorry! One sec!"

Then, without another moment of hesitation, he crouched down...and suddenly began to shake himself off, scattering whatever loose water still clung to his armor and scales all around him...likely unintentionally splashing it right onto the girl beside him in the process. "There we go!" He then finally extended his still-damp claw again up toward her with a bright, possibly oblivious grin on his face.
Shieldwing

"Oh yeah?" Shieldwing asked, glancing back at his own wings. He couldn't lie, he was eager for his own wings to grow. He really hoped that he could be one of the first dragons in the clutch to master the power of flight! "I wonder if they'd be impressed if I learned how to do it quickly...." he murmured lowly. He turned his attention back upward to Rudrick, eyeing up the larger dragon's wings for a moment. "How long did it take you and Garrock to learn? What's the fastest you've ever seen a new Winged Drake master their new ability? Do drakes ever get it right on the first try?" As he spoke, he began to increase his pace to keep up with the older dragon a bit better, even starting to walk around him a bit more, looking up at Rudrick with even more interest and less uncertainty than a few moments ago. "What's something I should remember when I do finally grow big enough to fly? I wanna be ready!"

He may be getting a bit distracted from his ultimate question at the moment, but...this little side tangent had caught his interest. If he could be not only a strong dragon, but a strong dragon but with superior flight skills? Maybe that was how he could get one over on enemies he currently struggled to deal with....
I have had a busy weekend, but I will hopefully be able to get Shieldwing's response in tomorrow~ =3
Haha, that promises to be interesting considering Saur is very practiced in formal common and probably less familiar with some of the surface-dweller metaphors and sayings. xP
Saur

"Apparently it was me, though I had no idea it was even going on," Saur grumbled as he turned to glance back to the second newcomer that had approached. His gaze fell upon the goblin for a moment, but if they didn't seem particularly interested in speaking up, then he had no intention of forcing the matter. Rather, he would turn his attention to the elf woman as she finished her own approach. And then, he seamlessly transitioned into Draconic, averting his gaze and grumbling roughly. "Whoever's foolish idea this was to race through town and draw the guards' ire in the process should sit on an arrow...." She would even see his brow twitching a bit.

Saur pulled his attention back up and to the elf as she continued and moved on to introduce herself. He straightened himself out as he listened to her introduction. Right, right, he shouldn't be sounding spiteful or frustrated right now. This was his first introduction to the group and he should probably try to make a more positive first impression.

Once Fleur had finished, he stepped aside so that he could face the full group. He then stiffened his body, straightening himself out and bringing his feet together. He then folded his left claw over his torso, clenching his fist and tapping it up against the upper right side of his chest before he lowered his upper body, allowing his head to dip down lowly in her direction.

"Apologies for the delayed introduction. I thought I should rise early and learn the layout of the city, but it was a more daunting task than I had originally anticipated," Saur added, shifting back to Common at this point. "In any case, my name is Saur and I hail from the Bloodscale clan. It is indeed a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can become powerful allies." He finally rose back up again, returning to a more relaxed posture, although it was still noticeably stiff, his arms folding behind his back. "Feel free to rely on me when it comes to scout work, tracking and traversing the wilderness."
Haha, understood. So I know they said not to wait for them, but I suppose waiting for them is all there is to do~ xD
