Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

Nic grins lopsidedly when Cassi calls Wayland their kid. “Lead the way, expert.” He says, following her with a cart. He places things in the cart as she points them out, humming along to the music the store’s playing as they go. He brightly greets Wayland each time the cat comes around to find them.
“I wouldn’t mind some human versions of him.”

Location: Medieval Torture Museum - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
“Back in my day…” Nero says in the oldest voice they can put on, climbing out of the car bent over with their hand on their back. “You young whippersnappers respected their elders!” Nero shakes their fist at Caden, but starts to laugh at the absurdity.
“And somehow, that doesn’t make me feel any better.” Kiki teases, leaning forward to prop her head on her elbow. “Also, it’s unfair when I have no way to retaliate.” She says with a small pout.

Willow looks up from her haphazard pillow fort with a sheepish look. “I have no idea what I’m doing.” She says in a huff before folding her arms over her chest. “All I can think of is a bird’s nest.” Her ears twitch back and forth as if trying to receive satellite signals that’ll tell her what she’s supposed to do. “Didn’t you grab books from your study or office or whatever? Or will those not help me?”

Willow looks up at Rowan, her brow crinkled as she nods. She can’t help but lean into him when he touches her cheek. When he only sets his hand on her head, not ruffling her hair, she can tell he’s being serious and feels embarrassed for not being stronger. “O-okay…” She says as he leaves before flushing. The stripping part is real?
She stares at the stairs after she hears the door close, her frown returning. Outside of running into Grant twice now, things over the last week had been going so smoothly. But now? It feels like the two have gone backwards now. Taking Rowan’s advice, Willow starts moving the pillows and blankets around, not really sure what nesting should look or feel like.
Nic enjoys wandering the hardware store with Cassi and the occasional Wayland that pokes his head out. He grins when Wayland is finally freed from his prison and watches as he runs off into the store. “Our kids are totally going to be like him, aren’t they?” Nic muses with a faraway look before he turns to Cassi.
“Maybe it’s because of how soothing it is for me.” Nero says, not looking up from their task as they kick their feet a little. When the car stops, they peek out the window at the museum. “So, is this where I comment on how realistic this torture exhibit is?”
Kimiko looks over at Avery when she feels his gaze on her and frowns with her ears turning red. “You don’t have to.” She says with a playful glare. “In fact, it’d be better if you didn’t.” She sticks her tongue out at him.

Willow yelps in surprise as the atmosphere between them changes drastically and she’s being carried again. She promptly falls on her bum after Rowan sets her down and watches in bewilderment as he tells her she can’t leave the room. “W-wait!” She scrambles as she tries to get to her feet, eyes wide and ears folded back. She hadn’t expected this to happen so soon after just learning about it all. “I actually have a lot of questions!” Suddenly her plan of just ‘figuring it out along the way’ doesn’t seem viable anymore.
She pauses at the edge of the bed, remembering how he had described everything, even if it was briefly. She definitely doesn’t want to go through this for the first time alone, but she doesn’t want to be an inconvenience. Will she actually try to throw herself at him? “Rowan… I’m scared…” She mumbles this, not wanting to guilt him into anything, but she’s being honest. “S-sorry, this probably isn’t any easier on you… Um, I’ll be alright I’m sure.” She sits back onto the bed, folding her hands in her lap.

Willow watches nervously, unsure what Rowan is planning as he holds onto her hand. As he licks her wrist, she feels like every hair on her body stands straight up, a shiver up her spine causing her to wiggle. Squirming, she tries to pull away from him before going stock still as she feels his fangs against her skin.
“R-Rowan?” She manages to stammer. When she realizes she’s not scared of him, she blinks and tries to figure out what sensation she’s feeling instead. Her nose wiggles as a more citrus scent fills her nostrils. “Wh… what…?” This is her scent, but she’s never ‘scented’ something in her life. Why is the smell so strong right now?

Willow barely makes it up the stairs with Rowan in tow when he starts to describe ruts. Fully flushed, she turns around with a squeak and claps both of her hands over his mouth before he can go any further. Since she was a few steps ahead of him, she’s able to reach his face without having to stand on her tiptoes, nearly level with him. His face says it all; he meant to provoke her. She juts her lip out in a pout as she glares at him. “Y-y-you…” She has no idea what to say, just that he needs to stop before steam leaks out of her ears as whistling.

Willow feels her face heat up as she presses her thighs together, only imagining what they are used for. She’s heard of ‘knotting’ before - frequently brought up by the Beowulfs and their guests - but is only now seeing a visual representation of it. When Rowan steps back and tells her to touch the items, she shakes her head quickly. “N-n-no questions.” She says in an attempt to convince herself more than him at this point.
She doesn’t want to touch the items either, but she quickly throws them back into their box before she grabs Rowan’s hand to lead him back upstairs. Willow is completely flustered - was this something her sisters went through too? Why had no one explained this better to her before now? “Let’s go watch a movie now.”
Nic laughs, throwing his head back in amusement before shaking it at Cassi. “You get to push the cart then.” He says, using his free hand to mess her hair up before he takes the paper from her and looks it over.
“Alright, let’s go to lumber first so we can get it measured and cut.” He finally declares, gesturing towards the aisles ahead.
Nero nods and wiggles happily in their seat with excitement. “Then supper after.” They agree with a chipper tone before they look down and start their habitual routine of tracing the tattoos on Caden’s hand.
Kiki huffed a laugh as she shakes her head. “Let me tell you, he gets away with everything and anything because of that bloody look.” She says dramatically with a tone of despair before she scans the menu. “Oh, uh, Avery was saying I should ask what the special is, but… I’ll have whatever it is anyway. With a bowl of fruit on the side if possible.” She smiles nervously at the waitress. The back and forth between her and Avery always seems to humor her.

Wilow’s hands go up as soon as Rowan reaches out and she grabs his hand in both of hers right as he ruffles her hair, shooting him a look with pursed lips. “You’re going to give me a bald spot.” She says, determined to change the subject instead of acknowledging him. It doesn’t feel right to make him constantly have to explain everything to her.
She looks around again before speaking. “I-I can just figure it out, I’m sure.” She mumbles as her face darkens with blush again.
