Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

Location: Rowan’s House - Denver, CO Currently: Fit
Willow walks out of the other bedroom, choosing a more plain outfit to wear instead of one of the more cute ones. She had packed up all the cute clothes Rowan had gotten her to go to his place since she doesn’t think she’d be able to keep them. She runs a hand through her hair when she catches Rowan in the hall. “Hi.” She smiles nervously with a small wave. Despite her best efforts, she’s all fidgety about how today is going to go. “I’ve got all my clothes in a suitcase for you… unless you want to leave them here.”

Willow lets out a soft giggle as Rowan pulls her close, finding herself in a better mood almost instantly. She takes the remote with a smile and starts searching through movies, eventually landed on a children’s animated film. “I know it’s kind of immature, but these movies are so wholesome… and cute.” She turns her head to look up at Rowan to see if he approves or not.

Her face brightens at the idea of cuddles and a movie and she nods, getting up quickly to take care of her plate as well. “I think that sounds perfect…” Her smile falters as she thinks that this will be the last time they can cuddle and share a bed. Who knows how long the operation will last? She just hopes it’s not too long before she can see Rowan again at least. Realizing that her thoughts are putting a damper on her mood, she shakes her head and forces a smile on her face again.

Nic’s hands twitch as they kiss, wanting to explore. He settles this by pushing Cassi’s skirt up so he can grab her ass better and lift her, pinning her to the nearest wall. A low groan leaves his lips as his hands touch the lace fabric that had been shown so teasingly to him earlier. His tongue traces her lips as he eagerly asks for an invitation.
Nero
Location: Adler Planetarium - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Nero enjoys the show, not particularly impressed or in awe of much, but they have an appreciation for the amount of work that went into producing it. When they feel a vice grip on their arm, they lift their head to look more clearly at Caden’s face. He really doesn’t like space. They think to themselves. No one’s really looking at them, eyes are on the show, so Nero slips out of their seat and into Caden’s lap. The maneuver is a little strange as they try to let him keep hold of their arm, but they manage it and settle in with a wiggle.
Kimiko “Kiki” Voss
Location: Garden of the Gods - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Kiki would snort at that, but she knows what Avery says is true. He would not have been able to avoid major repercussions if he had intent to hurt her. She smiles though when he looks down at her again, trying to be comforting. “Nero and Cassi have both volunteered to take over for now.” She says, nodding in agreement. “I hope you’re ready for me to wipe the floor with you when you take over.” She teases, smirking up at Avery.

She nods slowly before forcing herself to eat more; she’ll need her strength for what’s to come. “I’ll just have to be stronger then.” Willow says after a few bites, flashing a cheerful smile at Rowan in hopes to ease both their worries. “Rabbits apparently are strong kickers, I’ll just learn how to kick people away.”

Nic snorts at this offer from Cassi. “Je pense que mon père s'en apercevra si nous disparaissons pendant une heure sans quitter l'appartement.” Truthfully, it’s a tempting proposition and has him thinking of all the ways he can repay Cassi’s ‘lessons’. He looks to her with a crooked grin when she says magic has its benefits.
“You just didn’t want to let me get the sexual tension out of my system.” He says before sticking his tongue out at her. The two walk inside his bedroom and he shuts the door behind him before pulling Cassi in close for a kiss, his hands immediately going to her bum.
I think my dad might notice if we go missing for a hour without leaving the apartment
Nero

Nero nods with hopeful, wide eyes as they take the other seat. Part of them wants to just sit in Caden’s lap, but they settle for leaning their head against his shoulder instead. “Wouldn’t that be cool.” They say while kicking their feet a little.

Kiki leans into Avery’s touch, letting her eyes fall close as his fingers brush her cheek before opening them again once they join hands. “Luckily, you’re too cute to stay mad at.” She uses her free hand to ‘boop’ his nose before continuing. “I could also tell how bad you felt afterwards… If you had done it with malicious intent, you wouldn’t have been so devastated.”

Cheeks warm, Willow nods as she takes her hand back to resume eating as well. “I’ll probably miss that the most.” She says, knowing she’s gotten used to it as well. Looking down at her plate, she pushes the steak frites around as she tries not to let her thoughts run rampant. “What you said earlier - that the Beowulfs might still chase me even if I’m with you… will that mean other clans might too?” She can’t help but think of how easily she’d been yanked from the Beowulf’s estate in the first place.

Nic flashes a boyish grin at Cassi, an eyebrow quirked in her direction. “By all means; I enjoy the ‘lessons’.” He says, pausing to slowly look her up and down. “Je suppose que nous pouvons tester l'insonorisation des murs et des portes si vous le souhaitez vraiment.” He turns back to keep going up the stairs, doing a small body roll to make his butt pop out at Cass for a moment.
I guess we can test how soundproof the walls and doors are if you really want.
Nero

“Sure, but it also compresses and stretches you at the same time… infinitely.” Nero says cheerfully, despite the topic. “Not to mention, light can’t even escape it. They’re positively enthralling to think about.” They squeeze Caden’s hand as they move towards the show, wiggling from foot to foot with each step.
Kimiko “Kiki” Voss

Kiki almost immediately lays down on her back, resting her head on Avery’s lap. “You don’t have to hold yourself back on my account, Avery.” She watches the clouds as they slowly roll by before turning her head to look at her wolf. “Truthfully, I wanted to forgive you as soon as I felt you drop the wall you used to block me out… But, I felt as though Caden and Cassi might have thought of me as a pushover.”
“Are you alright? What's your name?” Asteria asked, offering the flowers back to the girl.
Both her guard and Mene disliked seeing Asteria crouched doing ‘commoner tasks’, Mene putting a hand on his hip and rolling his eyes, while her guard coughed in his hand
Nyx smiles brightly at Astoria. “Oh, thank you, my lady. This humble girl is named Arwen.” She curtsies nervously again as she takes the flowers, her eyes shifting to the guard for a moment as he says they should be going.
“Sorry.”
Before she turned, and the group began making their way again to the pier.
She hurries along, padding softly behind them. She has her excuse ready - she sells the flowers to well wishers seeing ships off or to seamen to bring home to their loves. Either way, Nyx knows she needs to find a way to get Astoria away from her guard.
“Would you like some flowers to talk with you?” The bright orange marigolds in her arms are luckily still in near perfect condition. “They would look so lovely in your hair, my lady.” She holds out a stem with several blossoms. “I could even braid them in for you! As thanks for helping.”
As much as she wants to look at their guard to judge if he finds her actions suspicious, Nyx doesn’t. It’ll only make her seem that much more dubious. Hopefully she just comes off aa overly eager to make friends.

Willow stops chewing, staring at the table for a moment as her brow crinkles and she takes deep breaths. “No,” She tells him honestly, flashing a sad smile before she moves on to assure him. “But I’ll do my best to be alright until we meet again.” Before she can second guess herself, she reaches to place her hand on Rowan’s in an effort to comfort him.
