Kaitou didn't say anything more. He was in no real mood for small talk. In fact something about this reunion seemed to have him agitated. Falcomon, however, was far more willing to visit with friends. With a flap of his wings, the Digimon flew from his spot and perched closer to Yukarumon in order to make conversation, "Kaitou... hasn't exactly been in good spirits lately." from his seat, Kaitou cocked an eyebrow incredulously but still said nothing, "Anyway," Falcomon continued, "we just arrived, actually we've been away from File City for... gosh I forgot how long."

"A hundred and forty-five years." Kaitou said unexpectedly. His tone was sharp and matter-of-factly. Then he just shrugged, "But who's counting anymore?" he went quiet again. By this point his and Falcomon's orders were served to them. Kaitou had gotten out a strange book with a large X marked on it. But rather than read it, he instead started to write in it. Occasionally he would pause to take a bite of curry or to sip his coffee. But otherwise he kept his focus on writing in his book. It was in fact his memoir... well, one of his memoirs. This one happened to be the tenth, hence the big roman numeral ten marking it as such.

"Mmm," Falcomon said. If the bird digimon had lips he'd probably be licking them right about now, "yummy!" then he went to town on his plate of curry. Something about the flavor the sauce gave the rice made it his favorite dish. After a few happy bites of curry, Falcomon decided to start talking again, "Kaitou keeps saying he prefers the road, apparently staying in one place gets too boring."

Kaitou lowered the memoir and shot a glare at Falcomon. The digimon almost said too much, and Falcomon even realized as much before he quickly added, "But hey, that just means we get to try food from all over! That suits me just fine." then he laughed before taking a few more hasty bites of curry.

"Alright, Yukarumon... spill it." Kaitou suddenly said, slamming the memoir shut and shooting a look at Yukarumon, "I know you wouldn't have come back unless something's happened. So what is it? Is some catastrophe looming in on us from somewhere? Are we about to lose yet another world?" Kaitou definitely sounded agitated. In fact he almost seemed angry at Yukarumon somehow.
Just for the record, Kaitou is a lot more jaded and aloof than he used to be 150 years ago. So he's acting quite differently than most would remember him being.
"Ah, File City!" Falcomon said as he flew around excitedly. As Kaitou walked, Falcomon would fly ahead or off to the side to look at sites and take in smells. It was almost like watching a tourist, which was strange considering the fact that Falcomon and Kaitou had both originally come from File City... although that was a very long time ago. Perhaps the Digimon missed what could be called his home town? Kaitou on the other hand was aloof about the whole thing. He glanced around himself occasionally but for the most part stayed focused on the route in front of him.

It was the commotion at a cafe that finally caught enough of Kaitou's interest to make him stop walking, "What, is a rock band in town or something?" he asked with a incredulous raise of his eyebrow. He reached up to push his glasses further up and then decided to go investigate the commotion. Unfortunately there was too much of a crowd for him to get a good look. Falcomon didn't have that problem, as he just flew over them and landed on the roof and peaked in after hanging upside down from a window. A moment later he fluttered back over to Kaitou.

"It's KK." he reported, but then quickly added, "But he's not alone, Yukarumon is with him!"

"Tch..." Kaitou almost seemed to... scoff a bit. Was that it? Well, Yukarumon's return was actually pretty surprising. But otherwise, File City should have been used to having Digidestined living in it by now. Well either way, Kaitou was hungry and so he needed to get inside. Unfortunately he could only think of one way to move this annoying crowd out of the way. He hated playing the hero card, but he didn't have a choice.

All of a sudden, a playing card spun through the air. It was a Joker card of some kind. It whizzed over the heads of the crowd and then stuck squarely to the doorpost. That at least was enough to get people to turn around and look, "Oh! So sorry about that." Kaitou announced, beginning to walk forward while tossing his Digivice up and down in his hand. He rarely ever pulled the thing out unless it was an emergency, but for this moment decided to flash it almost like a cop flashing their badge, "Must have been a slip of the wrist." the grey and blue Digivice was unmistakable proof that Kaitou was also one of the heroes, just like KK. That was enough to get people to actually move aside, the crowd parting like the Red Sea as Kaitou calmly walked through and inside the cafe.

Once inside, he didn't approach KK or acknowledge him at first. Instead he sat down a couple of tables away, "Two curries." he spoke, ordering a plate of curry for himself and another for Falcomon, "Oh and... a coffee. House Special Blend." he casually dropped a small pouch full of bits on the counter to pay for his order. Only then did he decide to acknowledge KK. Well, more specifically Yukarumon, "Well look who finally decided to come back from the dead." this was an odd thing for him to say. Kaitou didn't really have any room to talk, being the one who had up and vanished about a hundred years ago and only now was making himself known again.
Some distance away from File City, there was a rural community called Alt Village. Away from the protection of File City, Alt Village instead relied on a treasure called the Firewall to keep bandits or raiders from invading it. It was also the home of a particularly vigilant Leomon that took it upon itself to also protect the village and the Firewall. At least, it would normally. Unfortunately, the Firewall was stolen the previous night. Apparently a person or Digimon managed to steal the Firewall and now the village was being threatened by a gang of Goburimon, led by an Ogremon.

"With your precious Firewall gone, the village is just ripe for the raiding!" proclaimed Ogremon, as a few of his Goburimon henchmen started marching toward the village. Of course, the Leomon was still protecting the village and he brandished his blade in preparation for a fight.

"Firewall or no Firewall..." said Leomon with a roar, "...I'll defend this village so long as I draw breath!" and he charged forth and began fighting the Goburimon. Despite being a higher level evolution, the Leomon wouldn't last against superior numbers forever. And to make things worse, there was still the Ogremon waiting in the wings. Leomon's chances were not looking so good.

"Outta the way, boys." Ogremon demanded, wanting to finish off Leomon himself, "Anyone who tries to play hero will answer to me!" he raised his club, prepared to strike a finishing blow. But before Ogremon could swing, something flew out of the shadows and struck the Club right out of his hand, "What the? Is this a... card?" he picked up the object, a pitch black card with a white three-clawed raven depicted in the center. On the opposite side was some human world Kanji that read 'Advanced Notice'. Ogremon scoffed, confused but unafraid, "Alright, who's the dead man trying to play hero?"

"Can't you read? That's your advanced notice." a voice echoed from an unknown hiding place. Then, almost as if choreographed, a pair of spotlights focused on a single spot. Standing there was a figure clad on a long black coat, red gloves, and a white mask covering his eyes. The notorious phantom thief: Raven, "Bonjour!" the thief said, greeting Ogremon with a bow and speaking a french greeting, "I'll be taking that treasure of yours."

"Thief or Hero, I don't care! Anyone who gets in my way gets crushed! Goburimon! Make him regret interfering with us!" Ogremon shouted. The Goburimon began to ignore Leomon and instead made their way toward Raven. Before they could close, they were repeatedly struck with shuriken made of feathers. Without warning, and with only minimal effort, a Falcomon swooped in from the shadows and actually took out the Goburimon gang with shuriken feathers and blades of wind.

"Thank you, Falcomon." said Raven, using an English phrase rather than a French one. While Falcomon fought with the Goburimon and kept Ogremon distracted, Raven deftly leapt over the group and landed right next to Ogremon and appeared to be throwing a punch. Ogremon naturally dodged a punch from a human easily enough and stepped back.

"You missed, human!" Ogremon scoffed.

"Au contraire, mon ami." spoke Raven in a playful tone. Ogremon would notice momentarily that the thief now held the Firewall in his red-gloved hand.

"Give that back, I stole it fair and square!" Ogremon went to attack but was stopped. Not by Falcomon, but by Leomon, who had recovered enough to knock Ogremon out once and for all. The Goburimon had to carry Ogremon as they ran off.

"I don't know who you are, but thank-" Leomon began to say but paused when he realized he was alone. The gang weren't the only ones who had vanished, the human thief and his Falcomon partner were also gone. However, Leomon did find the village's Firewall on the ground next to where Ogremon had dropped the calling card earlier. Leomon silently picked up the treasure and went to return it to its rightful place.

"So... why'd we leave the Firewall behind?" asked Falcomon. A bit of time had passed since he and Raven had scuffled with the Ogremon. The two were now walking down a road that would take them into File City.

"Ah, well... the Firewall was useless to us." Kaitou answered. He was no longer in his Raven set up, but instead wore normal clothes and a pair of black glasses in place of his previous mask, "And besides, we managed to have a little bit of fun messing with Ogremon. That's all that really matters." Kaitou claimed it was about finding fun, but deep down he was really just interested in helping out the village and the Leomon protecting it. It wasn't like him, but then again, that Leomon reminded him of an old friend he had lost touch with. So maybe that was the reason.
Guess I'll take the Grey/Blue one.
"A moving city?" Glaceo rubbed his chin thoughtfully. No, he had not yet disconnected communications with Arkos. He heard the answer to his question, the city they were looking for was a flying one. Powered by the very energy of the inhabitants, if the native's words were to be believed. Well, that would make things a little bit more complicated. Then again, flying cities had a tendency to stick out like sore thumbs. Plus, if it was powered by people's energy, then there was a good chance that the city itself would be giving off a high power level reading.

"Look for the highest power level on the planet. More specifically, one that is constantly on the move. I'll bet my Scouter that that's where we'll find this flying city of theirs." Glaceo said, both to Arkos over the communication and to his crew on the ship. With enough people scanning the planet for power level readings, it wouldn't be long before one of them found it. Glaceo soon activated his own Scouter and began scanning over the planet one area at a time. That was when his prototype Scouter picked up a set of energy signals making landfall on the planet, "Now who could this be? Bridge, focus the scanners on the coordinates I'm about to send you." he pressed a button non his Scouter and awaited a response.

"S-sir it's... the signals belong to the PTO." Glaceo heard on his Scouter a moment later.

"That's not possible. We're the only PTO vessel on this system." responded Glaceo, intrigued but also slightly annoyed.

"We're the only Galactic Frieza Army ship in this sector, sir. But these appear to belong to the Cooler Squadron."

That? That got Glaceo's attention. Suddenly he was far more interested... and more annoyed, "Cooler Squadron, is it? Damn, those fools will ruin everything! Arkos," Glaceo suddenly switched comm channels to address the Saiyan, "You're not alone down there. We've picked up signals from ships belonging to the Cooler Squadron. It seems someone is trying to steal our prize out from under us. This cannot be allowed. Find them and observe from a distance. If the planet's natives cannot fight them off, then step in. We may yet be able to use this to our advantage if we play our cards right."

Digidestined Name:
Raven (Akira Kaitou)

Age(when entering the digital world):
17

Digimon Partner:
Falcomon

Digidestined Appearance:

Digidestined Biography:
When one has lived for about fifty or sixty years longer than they naturally should have, it becomes easier and easier to lose your earliest memories as they are replaced with new ones. Raven has somewhat mitigated the issue by keeping a memoir he frequently updates with his latest thoughts and experiences. It's not the best fix in the world, but at least it's better than nothing.

According to Raven's memoirs, he was a somewhat ostracized kid back in the original human world. Early on he was branded a troublemaker and a dangerous sort of person to hang around, but for the life of him Raven just can't seem to remember why. Well in any case the Digital World was practically a second chance at life for him, and he took to it almost too easily. He formed an unbreakable bond of trust with his partner, Falcomon. Even the other Digidestined became like a surrogate family over time. But when all was said in done, time did what it did best. It kept marching forward, and as it did so Kaitou drifted further and further from his old friends. When years became decades, Kaitou decided to look for ways to stifle his increasing boredom and soon came up with a rather interesting game to play. He disappeared, seeming to fall off the grid and instead adopted the mantle of a phantom thief, eventually rebranding himself with a new name: Raven.

Raven keeps his history as a Digidestined to himself mostly. In fact, he's content to let everyone believe he's just a masked thief. After all, what fun would be had if everyone knew of his former reputation and feared him for it? Or worse, what if they just let him get away with his thefts because of it? Becoming a thief was to alleviate boredom, not invite more of it after all. So that's what Raven/Kaitou has been up to all this time. All but abandoning his former mantle as a Digidestined and instead striking forth as a supposedly uncatchable phantom thief.

Alright so... slight change of plans. Going with Falcomon line and possibly the Wind element. Still keeping the thief archetype though.

So my line boils down to this:

1. Botamon
2. Tokomon
3. Falcomon
4. Peckmon
5. Yatagaramon
6. Ravmon
Wait if every partner should be different attribute, Fire's already taken...

I'll take Dark then. Unless that's stuck for the villain?

Good question. I was going to use Dark for my Thief archetype but I guess that's out the window now. Maybe I'll just scrap the whole idea and do something else, I don't know.
