Ovaan: I... I can't help but feel like we're missing some context here.
Ovaan

And all of a sudden, there was only pain. A sharp pain coming from his tail of all places. He yelped a bit, and immediately brought his tail up to look at it. He also heard Velona's words, and she was right. He felt that, and it would be awfully strange to still feel pain after dying. Well, either way, that was enough to snap him out of the initial freak out and he was able to regain his composure thereafter.

"Yes... yes, agreed." he said in reply to Velona's suggestion. There had been a rather loud shout that came from the distance, which usually denoted a fight or battle taking place. Was it possible he was transported from one warzone into another one? He tried to scan for battle powers, but as usual his Scouter acted rather uncooperative. Note to self, find a replacement Scouter as soon as possible, or at the very least some parts to fix this one. Finally managing to get a vague reading of a group of battle powers only a moderate distance away. Well, moderate by the standards of one who could fly at high speeds, anyway.

He floated up into the air, "Very well, shall we be off, then?" he asked of his now-two female companions. After giving them a moment to respond and follow, he began flying toward the location his Scouter was leading him toward. It took a few moments, this distance was a bit greater than the first two chunks of distance he had traveled. Eventually, a terrain of green slender sticks of what Ovaan presumed to be wood came into view. It wasn't long before he spotted a clearing, and within it a quartet of figures.

"That appears to be our destination." he pointed out to his companions, having noticed that neither wore scouters and presumed they were unaware of the scene ahead due to not possessing one. As the scene came closer Ovaan noticed what looked like a girl lying on the grass. Was she unconscious or...? Well, either way, surely one of these people could give them the answers they sought.

"Hail, strangers!" Ovaan announced in a raised tone once he was close enough to be heard. He slowed his flight down and slowly descended toward the ground, "My companions and I appear to be lost, would any of you by chance be able to tell us where this place is or how we were transported here?" the unconscious girl looked rather young, and appeared to be attended by a lad who also looked equally young. But the other two appeared to be adults, one with a curious tail and the other had strange pink skin. Was that one perhaps one of Dodoria's species? As for the other, he had no idea what she could be, having never encountered one of her kind before.

Velona mentioned a commotion, which I can only assume is referring to the Supreme Kai of Time's shout? I'd like to know which of the other groups we'll be heading toward before I post.
@vancexentan Master Yoda also completely failed to notice the Sith Lord rising to power right under his nose. In short, the Jedi Order were terrible.

Oh, what do we win?

Ovaan's reaction, in a nutshell, started off like this:

Ah, so she did have horns, after all! Curious, Ovaan was certain he had never encountered this particular race before. But then again, the universe was vast and theoretically limitless. At her introduction he did his best to return the favor with an equally pleasant response, "Ah, where are my manners? I am Ovaan, a pleasure to make your acquaint-"

"So, how did you two die?"

"-tance..." he was speechless, but only a moment. Without so much as losing his composure he gave a dismissive chuckle, "Pardon me, I misheard you. It sounded as if you just asked us how we died but, well that would be absurd." he laughed, albeit awkwardly. But as he did, some pieces in his head started coming together. He was in a battle before mysteriously waking up here... and he'd not thought of a single explanation yet for just how he got here... No. No way! He couldn't possibly have... could he?

"You... did mean to say something different, yes?" he asked, still hoping and secretly wondering if he was just in denial, "Because there's simply no way I could have died. If I had, then how am I standing here, breathing, and having a conversation?" before he could stop it he felt a twitch in one of his eyes, "No! No! No no no nonononono, NO! I won't believe it! I refuse to believe that I am dead!"
What does it say about Toriyama that one of Super's arguably most interesting arcs (Moro) wasn't even written by him at all?
