I am completely creeped out. Amazing work you´ve done here.
Very interested to join (and scare myself in the process)
It depends if I can come up with a character I like though.

Edit: Character is ready but I'm not lol >.<

Nur blew a kiss at the memory glass, to match the happy go lucky mood of Frodo, who was taking a picture of them both. She asked Frodo if she could see the picture, and summoned it to the surface of the memory glass after he handed it to her. Nur never made a secret of her vanity, and even though she had no doubt it was a cute picture, she just had to check. She summoned it to the surface of the memory glass, and smirked when she saw it. It was pretty funny, Frodo had this goofy smile on his face, and she had her eyes closed, blowing a kiss toward the viewer.

"It's cute, I like it" She commented, returning the memory glass to Frodo.

Darius took out his newly purchased instrument and surprisingly started to play a somewhat clumsy and unfamiliar tune. Nur had a puzzled look on her face, trying to figure out where the song was from. It did sound nice though, something to her tastes. She gave Darius a modest applause, clapping her hands together in praise. He was talented, to just be able to buy an instrument he didn't know and produce a tune from it. Impressive...

Nur walked alongside Frodo, the group making their way out of the convenience store and onto the next. In the distance something was running towards them, her emerald eyes widened when it came into view. A dog..... The revolting ball of fur, wrinkled skin and drool was making a beeline for both her and Frodo. She almost hissed in disgust when it threatened to touch her legs. Frodo let go of her arm, and Nur was more than happy to get away. When it started to spray drool everywhere Nur squealed and nearly tripped over the bottom of her dress trying to get away. A good distance away from it, she anxiously checked to see if any of the saliva had defiled her. Concluding it hadn't she let out a sigh of relief.

She shot both Frodo and the dog a disgusted look, her usual pleasant features turned into an angry frown.
"Disgusting..." Nur muttered under her breath.
If she wasn't annoyed enough, Nur's brow shot up when she heard Frodo complimenting the dog. Well....
Contrary to her Frodo had terrible taste. She was outcharmed by a dog! What was the world coming to?
She stayed several feet away from the green haired elf, only a thorough bath would fix that.

Nur huffed and pushed her hair over her shoulder impatiently, the feeling of disgust still evident on her face. If someone wanted to send a message, why could they not just use birds?

After handing a slip of paper to Frodo, the dog went on her way.
Good riddance
Wait a minute.... Didn't that happen to Darius and her too? A dog had also delivered them a paper message. Nur wondered if it said the same thing. Meeting hall tomorrow at 2. In any case she wasn't going near Frodo to try and figure that out. She hoped these messages were being sent by the rebellion. If that was the case, she would be able to find them soon. The sooner the better, because for the first time in her life, time was working against her.

Nur rolled her eyes when Darius introduced himself with that terrible fake name, she supressed the urge to smirk. She would play along, it could be their little secret. Also it would come in handy, if she ever needed to blackmail him into doing something for her. With her powers acting strange, she had to lower herself to tricks such as this. How the mighty had fallen. Nur took in the conversation between Lucia and the men with her. Their names were Vaeril, and Frodo. Vaeril was the one paying for everything they were buying, so naturally her attention was drawn to him first. He offered to take two random strangers to go shopping? Did men like that still exist?
He seemed pretty ordinary, just a well dressed elf, probably a bit older, to have acquired that much wealth.

Frodo was snapping pictures of him. His bright green hair made her smile. He was snapping pictures of a bunch of things. It was probably his first time venturing out of whatever backwater town he came from. They were also apparently going to get some drinks. Nur decided she liked these people, at least enough to spend her afternoon with. She had barely gotten a sip from her Riverfruit slush earlier, and she could go for a few drinks. The shopping trip had left her parched.

"I'm Nur, it's great to meet you three"

"If we're going to get some drinks, I'm in!"

They were going to Odds & Ends first. Nur didn't mind, even though they already went there. She could just browse some more. Lucia asked if they knew Vaeril. That was weird, why ask random strangers if they knew another stranger? Darius did know him though. So either they were traveling together, or they just happened to meet here. She raised a brow, and looked from Darius to Vaeril. Nur shrugged, both of them seemed to be wealthy and that was really the only thing that mattered to her at the moment. She turned to wink at Darius, letting him know she was all good to go shopping again. Instead of walking back to him however, she sauntered over to Frodo, snaking her arm around his.

"Your hair matches my dress, so we have to walk together" Nur turned to Frodo, with a cheeky smile on her full lips. Up close she noticed he also looked kind of odd. Not like a typical elf, kind of the way Darius didn't resemble one. Interesting....

Nur raised her brow at the high pitched voice coming their way. She returned the wave, with a more controlled, less excited wave of her own. The comment of the birth preventers made the corners of Nur's lips turn into an amused smile. She could actually appreciate the elf's humor and didn’t feel embarrassed at all. Nur wanted to return the compliment, looking at the woman. Besides, Darius was really focused on the items he was purchasing. Really focused! The elf's clothes weren’t particularly eye catching, and her eyes wandered to her hair. It was whitish blonde, with a black streak.

If she couldn’t stop aging, her hair would eventually turn out that way. Feeling subconscious, she touched her hair, checking to see if it hadn’t turned white all of the sudden. Actually Nur had to admit it didn’t look half bad on the woman.

“Hi there, I’m doing great thanks!” Nur said cheerfully. She smoothed the wrinkles from her dress, and adjusted the green shawl, letting it rest over her shoulders.
“Thank you, I love it too, I just had this made at the tailor” She wanted to recommend his services to the woman, but remembered Fabrice to be kind of a killjoy.

She made her way over to the elven woman. Nur looked at her two companions and narrowed her eyes. She was pretty sure what was going on here.
I like your style..” Nur said with a smirk, referring to her shopping with someone else's amas. As an expert at said activity, Nur could only appreciate someone with equal skill.

Nur was intrigued when Darius mentioned buying the whole store. It was a joke, or so she thought. When she heard him mumble something about 900 amas, she whipped her head around, looking at him. Was she hearing this right? He put a solar box into his shopping cart, without batting an eye. She struck gold again, it was like she could sniff the amas from the air. Nur smiled, feeling very pleased with herself.

She continued to browse, looking at a shower tube. That would definitely come in handy when she was traveling, she had one carried around by Haldir's men at all times. Obviously she wasn't just going to bathe in some river full of slimy fish. Eventually she was going to travel back north, to reach the library of the Lich king. Maybe she was thinking too far ahead, she hadn't even found the rebellion yet. It would probably be a good idea to get her priorities sorted out.

Oh....

A beautiful hair brush caught her eye. She picked it from the shelf to look at it more closely. It was made out of silver, with floral engravings. At the heart of the metal flowers were small purple gemstones. Nur looked like she was in love. She needed to start of her inventory fresh, and what better way to do that than this brush? Nur twirled it around in her hand, enjoying the way it felt. She traced the engravings with her pale fingers.

That's going in the to keep pile.

Nur walked next to Darius, his arm in hers, feeling happy. She loved meeting someone new, after a while things had a tendency to get boring. Even if someone could buy her everything she could ever want, if the company was dull, being around them got tiresome real quick. A dog walked up to the both of them, passing them a slip of disgustingly wet paper. Nur immediately let go of Darius's arm, when he reached out to take the paper from the canine.

Every the nosy type however she leaned over to get a better look at the message. It read, Meeting hall tomorrow at 2
Such a strange message and she noticed it confused Darius. Weird she thought.
Nur made a mental note of the message. She wasn't sure what was going on, or who had sent it, but the only way to figure out was to show up there and see for herself.

Following Darius's directions they strolled past the park at a leisurely pace. The leaves were already changing from bright evergreen to shades of orange, yellow and red. It was pretty, but she preferred the summertime. The convenience store was hard to miss. The display window showed the latest models of hoverboards and jumping shoes. The sign read, Gadgets and Conveniences Shop

She could use some essential beauty products herself. She had no clue where Darius was staying, most likely in one of the inns, but she doubted there would be everything she needed. The inside of the store was much more organized than the outside made it appear to be. Nur went straight for the personal care aisle, loading up on everything from hair softener, to body cleanser, and brushes. She turned to Darius and dropped all of her things in his arms.

"Here can you hold this for me?" She asked, but didn't really wait for his answer. Nur continued to sample some more products, smelling some of the available armpit fragrances. She was adding up the total amount of amas in her head, and she was not liking the numbers she came up with. But she wasn't willing to part with anything either. Life was just full of tough choices. She eyed the shopkeeper, a feline demi-human, and he was looking kind of annoyed, angry even. What was it with cat demi-humans up at River Port anyway? They were all perpetually grumpy.

Nur wasn't to keen on trying her chances with him. He looked like he might scratch her face if she irked him. And her face was extremely precious. She exited the personal care aisle and went back to Darius. A rare smile of pity was on her face. She really did string him along everywhere, and he even bought her perfume, without her asking for it. Nur grabbed a shopping basket and held it on her arm. She took each of her things from Darius's arms, one by one, tossing them into the woven basket.
"So...what are you going to buy?"

Ambiance: Fabrice the tailor

After giving a nod, Nur and Darius walked forth and entered through the glass doors of the tailor. The first thing that hit their senses was the fresh lavender scent and perfectly arranged headless statuesque mannequins. The clothing on the display was among the finest Darius had ever seen and he wondered how expensive Nur's tastes were in all manner of things. A distinguished-looking feline demi-human silently stood with exemplary posture like a still mannequin himself. A knowing smile formed on his lips once their attention was on him.

"Welcome! My name is Fabrice! This is my establishment, where I create top quality garments for River Ports finest ladies and gentlemen, I take my craft seriously, and you can expect the best."

Nur greeted Fabrice with a nod and smile. She could tell the demi-human had great taste in clothes. Aside from the mannequins on display, there were bolts of different fabrics neatly arranged by color, thickness, and pattern. She sauntered towards the silk aisle, immediately drawn to a green-colored silk. Nur ran her fingers across the fabric, it was smooth and soft.

Fabrice walked up to her, tapping the bolt of fabric.

“Good choice, this green silk is dyed in a subtle gradient.” Fabrice pulled on the bolt of fabric to unravel some length of the silk, showing Nur the fading of light to dark.

“It’s beautiful,” Nur said in awe. She was already imagining what kind of clothing could be made from it. Fabrice could tell he had a potential customer right there. He looked at the woman and narrowed his eyes, recognizing her kind. He held up the fabric next to Nur, envisioning the potential of it.

“It would look great with your eyes, I can take your measurements, and turn it into something amazing” Fabrice stated with complete confidence. He didn’t wait for an answer, as he already knew what it would be. He pulled up a second brighter green bolt of silk, and his measuring tape, promptly walking to the back of the store, expecting Nur to follow suit. And she did.

Darius had probably watched only a few seconds of the exchange before he started messing with the instrument he purchased. It was wooden, had 8 strings, and had a stand on the back which was convenient if he needed to set it down. He thought about trying out a string to give it a listen, but refrained. He could wait… And be bored.

He looked around the store and thought of the last time he was with a tailor. It had been right before the ball and Airdan had offered to take Myra, Artemis, and Darius to a tailor in between dance lessons. He remembered Myra being quite confused by the whole measurement bit and Artemis seemed to be enjoying picking out her fabric just as Nur did now. Good times… I wonder what happened to those two. I'm sure Airdan made it out fine. Artemis though… She left before things got bad so I guess she's probably doing fine too. Maybe she went back home to her family. That'd be nice after what she's been through.

Meanwhile, Nur stood on a small stool, to even out her height with the tailor. She was looking at a dress on one of the mannequins. It looked similar to one she had ordered to be made, prior to her arrival with Haldir. She had planned to pick it up, to take it with her. Only her escape was poorly planned and haphazard. She was sure that by now the guards had warned Haldir she got away, and he was catching on to what was going on. Aside from that Fabrice didn’t seem like the kind of man she could wrap around her finger that easily. It wouldn’t be for a lack of trying though.

“Lift up your arms young lady” Fabrice had a stern voice, and a no nonsense kind of work ethic. He took her measurements with meticulous precision.
Nur did as she was told with a disappointed look on her face, taking her eyes off the dress she knew she wasn’t going to have. The green dress was coming together swiftly. It was actually quite impressive, but Nur was too caught up in what she was missing out on.

She tried a different approach. She moved her hands up to the laces of her corset and started to untie them.
“If I take these off, it will be easier for you” The succubus smiled at the tailor, her slit eyes gleaming. Instead of being seduced however, Fabrice was annoyed. He looked her dead in the eye, staring at her over his glasses.

“That won’t be necessary”

Nur pouted, and rolled her eyes, feeling annoyed. She hated not getting her way, and couldn’t wait for the tailor to be done so she could go back to Darius. At least he was fun to be around. After a good amount of time, the dress was about halfway done. Fabrice busied himself with the construction of the green detachable scarf, that was part of the design of the dress. Nur jumped off the stool, the partially made dress flowing behind her, and went back into the store.

Fabrice barely acknowledged what she was doing, if the girl wanted to be stabbed by the numerous pins, so be it.

She spotted Darius, fidgeting with the mysterious instrument he bought on a whim, looking bored out of his mind. Time to change that.
“Hey you…., come on follow me” She waved him over to the changing rooms.

"Deeper I go…" Darius only mouthed as he was wary of getting too involved in the making of a dress. He forced a smile and walked over to the changing room. Then again, I might see something nice. His smile seemed to grow another inch at the thought of being lucky enough to get a better look at the beauty in the partially finished green dress. "Looks like he's doing a great job. Wow…" Darius was quite stunned and he wasn't even into these sort of things.

“Yes, yes it’s beautiful….now we have to..” Nur dismissed the compliments on Fabrice's craftsmanship and proceeded to walk over to the changing rooms.

“Go in here…”
The changing room was quite spacious, with two large mirrors facing each other, so you could get a full view of anything you might try on. Nur sat down on a small stool, crossing one leg over the other, her arm on her knee, and her face cupped in her hand. She winced, feeling a pin stab into her side.

“I want to see the outfit you got, so…..time to strip down” Her leg bobbed up and down lightly, the fabric of the dress sweeping over the floor. She watched Darius with anticipation who returned a look of surprise.

"Now?" The question was mostly rhetorical. A low sigh escaped him as he shrugged. Compared to his first bath in the wilderness of Avalia with Myra watching, this was just a walk in the park. He set down his instrument, removed his backpack, and then opened it to grab the clothing he had purchased. "It's going to be kind of wrink-... Oh! Hey Nur, I totally forgot to give this to you. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to hold onto it since I have the bag." He reached to hand her the perfume before returning to his bag and undressing, starting with his jacket, followed by his utility belt, pants.

Nur took the perfume bottle into her hands, feeling slightly surprised. So, it was for her all along? Looks like she hadn’t lost her touch. It was shaped like a heart, with gold filigree details and a pink crystal cap. How pretty. She enjoyed the gift, and the lack of manipulation it took to receive it. It felt more real, like a gift was supposed to be. She took off the cap and held the tip up to her nose, it smelled like roses, a delicate mixture of different ones.

She smiled, totally forgetting Darius was changing right in front of her. Before she had another opportunity to sneak a peek, the curtains were drawn back, revealing a very unamused Fabrice.

“Young lady…, your” He started at Darius over the top of his glasses, his expression unchanging. He cleared his throat, and proceeded to give them a lecture how his establishment was not to be mistaken for a brothel, even after Darius had pleaded with him that this was "not what it looks like!" Fabrice wasn't having any of it! The tailor walked up to Nur and snapped his fingers.

“Please stand up over there..” He pointed at the small stool.
Nur did as she was asked while trying not to laugh. The dress was finished surprisingly quickly, as the scarf was looped through a metal belt a little above her waistline. Fabrice clearly had had enough of the both of them, as he left the changing rooms as quickly as he arrived, instructing them to follow him to the counter.

Once they were alone again Nur turned to Darius who shrugged with an embarrassed smile, She imitated Fabrice, pretending to stare down at Darius over her invisible glasses, using her index finger to push it back up from the tip of her nose.

“He is right you know, this isn’t a brothel” He managed to chuckle.

"He's being so extra… I usually like cats too…" Darius shook his head disappointingly as he started putting on his new outfit. It actually fit him quite well despite eyeballing it. "Do you like your dress?" He asked as he put on the vest to his outfit.

“I love it She turned to the mirror and started to undo the braid in her hair, playing with the way it looked until she was satisfied. Nur sprayed on some of the precious perfume and inhaled the floral scent.

“I’m ready to steal your heart now.”

"Are you?" He playfully challenged before stuffing his previous outfit in his bag. "Remember, this isn't a brothel." He jokingly mocked Fabrice as well.

Nur walked next to a beaming Darius. A man who loved to shop was a man after her own heart. She was eager to buy something too, actually a lot of somethings. Leaving Haldir meant she would leave behind most of her possessions. She didn't mind, replacing them was half the fun of it. New dresses, new jewels, shoes, the works. The best place to start was the tailor. Nur had a specific kind of taste, everything had to be just right. She wouldn't settle for any old cotton dress.

She wondered if the perfume he bought was for his "friend". If it was, her hunch was right, and it was a girl. She didn't like her already. Nur wasn't used to having to worry about other women all that much. It wasn't easy to compete with the unnatural beauty of a succubus, but her powers were fading. It meant that one of her most important weapons and means of survival had suddenly become temporary. It was this nagging feeling, causing a pit in her stomach. She hadn't grown used to it, and she didn't know if she ever would. She didn't want to get used to it, she wanted to get it back.

It was only her first day at River Port, exploring the coastal town would help her find the rebellion. It could be anyone walking in the street. She still had no clue how to identify them or where to look. Nur kept her eyes and ears open. In the meantime however she could enjoy herself. Darius talked funny, was unfamiliar with the most common things, all in all kind of weird, but likable and funny. Handsome too. She was sure she could make him want to have her around without too much effort. It was like a fresh breath of air, her life had been pretty stale with Haldir. Still at the time the dark elf was her best bet.

Partially lost in her thoughts Nur almost missed the tailor shop, passing by the window with a mannequin wearing a custom made garment. The tailor almost looked out of place, like a store you would find in a big city like Roshmi. Nur guessed some pretty wealthy travelers passed through the port town, they would appreciate craftsmanship like this. She sure did.

Nur squeezed Darius's hand lightly to draw his attention.
"Store number two" She said excitedly.

Nur eyes gleamed mischievously. It was always nice to be called a beautiful woman, compliments never got old. She brushed away the strands of hair which framed her face and adjusted the position of her braid. She moved it over her shoulder to the front, to rest on her chest. It exposed the trail of scales which started at her neck and followed her spine downward. Orland had been asking questions ever since they met, and she hadn't answered a single one. She guessed it wouldn't hurt to lift part of the veil of secrecy. Besides this may be her potential new benefactor. Without her powerful pheromones, she needed to rely on the other arts of seduction. Nur had admittedly become a little lazy over the years, finding it easier to use her powers.

"I heard the resistance is gathering here" She whispered cautiously. Underneath the dimly lit lights she looked him up and down more closely. He was really the strangest looking elf she'd ever met, but she kind of liked that about him. He was strong enough to jump over the fence too, so if they got into anymore trouble, which was highly likely, Nur could put his muscle to good use. And best of all, he was funny. He caught onto her dislike for seafood, which Haldir still hadn't figured out. He kept trying to make her eat oysters, as if she needed the aphrodisiac. She was the aphrodisiac!

Nur gave him a flirty wink.
"You're pretty cute too......Darius" She tried out the name, feeling out his reaction. She wasn't sure that was his real name, but it definitely wasn't Orland. That name didn't suit him anyway. The next time he wanted to think of a fake name, he should ask her for one. Nur had hundreds of different names over the years, one for every lover.

She turned around to the fence, and looked through the gap to the streets. Her stomach rumbled loudly, how attractive.....
Nur glanced over her shoulder with a suggestive stare.
"You still owe me a bite to eat."

"How do you feel about lucky dips?" Nur licked her lips at the thought of the chilled dessert.

Nur and Darius

Time: Afternoon
Location: River Port, bar, allyway

Ambiance: Hurry RUN!

“It’s Nur”
There were a couple of things about Orland that just didn’t add up. His name being one, as he obviously lied. He was an elf, but a strange one at that. His red eyes were unusual, and his facial features didn’t look typically elf-like. It made him interesting and exciting. Nur however was being analyzed under a scope as well, albeit one that was far less acute. He found himself peeking glances at her peculiar slitted green eyes.

Way too nice to be an elf. A demihuman?

Guess again...

Nur looked over her right shoulder at the guards. They were shadowing them, keeping a respectable distance. She pouted and leaned her head against his arm, taking him from his thoughts. She let out a soft sigh, deciding to change the subject.

“You look very fancy for a casual day at the beach”

Nur smirked and slid her hand underneath his jacket, pinching his side. Darius jumped as a reflex from being tickled, and a sharp chuckle escaped him.

"Hey!" He laughed as he held her wrist with his freehand.

“I think you forgot to wear a shirt though, or did you lose it somewhere?” He looked at her with a grin for a moment while releasing the hand Nur had used to tickle him with

"Well it sounds like we need to find it either way, right? Where to look though?" Darius joked along as the two continued into town. The foot traffic was light at first, but it slowly became busier the further the two walked. The guards now had to weave through more and more people to keep up. "What if we got lost instead? Could make an adventure out of it for sure."

She stood on her tippy toes and held onto his shoulder so she could whisper into his ear.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
Nur looked at the town square. Slowly a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

"Wait, you don't mean..." He looked to her, and already knew what she was planning by the look on her face.

“RUN!” She yelled gleefully.

"We're really doing this!" He was half stunned and half excited.

The succubus was surprisingly fast in her flowing silk dress, you would think this wasn’t the first time she’d had to run for her life, and it wasn’t. As a nocturnal mistress it was one of her talents to quickly disappear. Darius was honestly relieved, feeling that they really could escape.

It took awhile for the guards to realize what was happening, giving the pair a head start. The two ran through the heavy traffic of people in the town square vanishing in the swaying and ever moving sea of bodies.

"Keep going! We can get away if we go through here!" Darius pointed to a bar he remembered hopping to the night prior. There was an entrance on both sides of it, making the perfect place to walk through.

Nur rushed into the bar, not thinking twice about it. It was busy for the time of the day. A lot of afternoon drinkers.
Perfect. She quickly scanned her surroundings to look for an escape or a place to hide. Her partner in crime wasn’t far behind her, but they would spot him sooner. He stood out because of his height and the way he was dressed. Nur spotted a rather plump looking bear demi-human man standing close to a corner of the bar, all by himself. She turned to see if Darius was looking her way, so she could fill him in onto her plan. As if in sync, he placed a hand on her shoulder and nodded towards the bear demi-human patron.

Her heart was racing with excitement, as at any moment the guards could step inside and find them. To Darius, this was but another grand moment in Avalia, but for Nur, it was the most fun she’d had in weeks. A change of pace to the endless parading around on the arm of Haldir, like a pretty bag he carried around everywhere.

"Him! I know him. Sit at the bar and I'll stand on the other end of him." Darius wondered how Nur was thinking the same thing… Sadly, she had only been thinking of using the demi-human for herself. As the approached, Darius tapped the bear demi-human's shoulder, who turned to face and hide"Bran!"

"Orland! It's good to see the liveliest adventurer in all of Avalia!"

This was too good to be true. Nur slid onto the chair next to Darius and Bran, trying to be inconspicuous. Nur looked around, the bar was what you could expect of a port town settlement. Driftwood stools and tables, seashell encrusted lamps and dried starfish decorating the walls. The patrons came from all over Avalia, it was a world within a world. That would work to her advantage. There were plenty of colorful men and women. She wouldn’t be spotted as easily.

The bartender was trying to catch her attention, he was looking her way, wiping an already dry counter. Nur was avoiding him. She didn’t have any amas to pay for a drink. On second thought, it would be more suspicious to sit at the bar and not order a drink. And actually, what was the last time she paid for a drink out of her own purse anyway hah!
What a joke!

Nur waved at him with a cheeky smile, making the fish demi-human almost trip over a crate of empty bottles on his way to her. He stumbled right up to her seat, if the bar hadn’t been sitting between them he would have crashed right into her.

He chuckled nervously and tied the dish cloth onto his apron.
“Good afternoon Miss, what can I do for you?”

Nur placed her hand on the hand of the bartender. She breathed in slowly, stimulating her pheromones to activate. There was the familiar sensation, but Nur could tell it was weak. The air between them rippled. The pupils of the bartender dilated.

“I lost my coin purse…” Nur confessed with a disappointed pout.

The bartender rubbed the back of his neck, the gills on the sides of his neck opening and closing, while he fervently looked for a way to help her.
“I guess I could slide you a Riverfruit slush on the house, as….as long as you don’t tell anyone”

Nur winked, clearly pleased.
“Of course, Riverfruit slush is my favorite”

"Smooth…" Darius whispered the comment as the bartender moved to make her drink with both haste and care. Darius had just finished engaging in small talk with Bran who was enjoying the taste of sweet mead. "I would have paid for it, y'know. But if you got a gift, why not use it, right?"

He peered around Bran to where the two had entered the bar, only to return sitting straight. The dark elf bodyguard had just entered. "Why are you so important to them? Are you a slave?" Darius kept his voice hushed as the topic itself could catch anyone's interest.

Nur nearly choked on a bite of her Riverfruit slush. She swallowed the spoonful of ice too quickly, and felt it rise up to the centre of her forehead, stinging like crazy. It would be her last bite too, because Haldir’s guards spotted them at the bar.

For God's sake

She didn’t answer his question, but instead grabbed his arm and pulled him down a little. She tried to talk through her brain freeze, the excitement of being chased by the guards was only making that worse.

“We have to get out of here” She chuckled in a whisper, laughing at something she shouldn’t be laughing about. It made Darius feel like all of this was just some big game for her… but why couldn't it be for him to? What was the worst that could happen?

"What are we doing down here then? Come on!"

The guards were trying to make their way through the crowd to reach the bar. The duo swiftly ran from the bar and out the door on the other side, once again on the run. Darius held her hand in his as the two ran together… laughing. Genuinely laughing.

Nur was trying to lose the guards, by changing directions unexpectedly. Her reflexes were quick, and her eyes darted around the streets. There had to be a dark alleyway somewhere, one they could quietly slip into and….

YES

She pulled on Darius’ arm without warning, making them both stumble awkwardly. Nur pushed herself through a gap in the wooden fence, realizing too late her accomplice might not fit through there.

“Come on hurry!” She giggled, waving him over to the safety of the alley.

"I can't fit through… Fuck it." The man jumped up and quickly vaulted over the fence. He landed beside Nur who guided him a little ways deeper between two older looking properties. "This time I think we did it." He whispered before dramatically looking around the dimly lit alley. "Lost… in the sauce."

Nur still didn’t get his lost in the sauce joke. She rolled her eyes and smiled at him.

“Close your eyes” She said quietly. Nur retrieved a heart shaped slice of strawberry from inbetween her bossom. It was all she could snatch with her from the Riverfruit slush before they had to run off again. He had given her a questionable look before shutting his eyes.

“You have to bow down a little”

"Like this?" The succubus laughed softly, seeing him with his eyes closed half crouched.

“Open your mouth” She wasn’t sure he would trust her that much. They did just escape certain death together, that had to count for something.

"Wait what?!" Darius's eyes shot open as he took a half step back.

Nur quickly closed the distance between them, and popped the sweet slice of fruit into his mouth.
“It’s your reward for saving me” She looked at his shocked face, finding it to be quite humorous.
