I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

First day as a Biology Teacher tomorrow - hopefully the kids will be able to read my handwriting.
Still annoyed that so much money was lost, Tony hands her the small check, hastily written down for the needed amount. Even though Sickle said that Tony would get any money that would be made from this, he knew for a fact that he wouldn't pay for any losses - That's not the way Tony rolled. He wouldn't work for someone and not get paid, no matter who the asshole that orders him around is-
Breathing calmly, Tony realized he really needed some fresh air - as soon as Sickle came back inside, he'd feel safe exiting and breathing a little. The woman got her ticket, and Tony silently prayed that she lost - when people saw that she came with sickle, a lot of people already betted on her. Of course she didn't - apparently, Sickle and his little buddies were the toughest guys around... Tony was really glad that he wasn't real deep in the Wonderland.
The following matches, luckily, filled Tony's pockets slightly - They went by relatively stress-free on Tony's part, and it wasn't until the beginning of the final match that anything occurred - a woman, oddly dressed even for the weirdos that hung out around here, approached him, just as he was about to begin the last match's announcement.
"Lady, I'm kinda busy here, you should have taken a bet before the ma-"
She cut him off, and upon doing so, Tony found himself without the microphone - the next thing that filled him was rage. This slut dared to come up, while Tony was having a god awful night, take his goddamn microphone, and use her power on him. How the hell could she even use her power - Tony had never heard of another person being able to use it while within the field... Still, it was less the fact jealous that she could use her power.
She had embarrassed him, in front of the massive crowd of criminals and scumbags - any sense of respect and power he held over these thugs was lost the second she placed her hand on his cheek. Thoughts quickly rushed thorough his head, and His hand made it's way to the cool metal in his jacket - he stopped himself quickly, however, and made his way from the area. He was about to shoot that woman in the back of the head - this place was god awful. Tony stood right next to the exit, only waiting to see what would happen - understanding that this woman had some sort of mind-manipulation, he prepared to plug his ears the second she opened her mouth. Or, this was what Tony planned to do, until he heard her say the last line.
As soon as heard that, Tony slowly opened the door, and quickly slipped out of the building. He couldn't give less of a shit - Tony wasn't risking his life for a couple bucks, especially after how crap the bets had been so far. Tony began to quickly make his way back home, moving as swiftly as he could without appearing suspicious. Breathing gratefully, Tony felt the lump in his stomach fill as he left the nullification field - He would have felt even better, had he not been fearing for his life.

Theo was busy demolishing his shepherd's pie, and thanks to a long day's work, he hadn't thought about listening in on the conversation that Reylan and Alisea were having until it was too late - Alisea had passed him with a large mouthful of pie, before giving him a good night farewell. Theo responded with a wave of his hand, doing his best to keep the same upbeat personality that he was known for. Even though the last few days had weighed heavily on him, his heart felt a lot lighter today - maybe it was because he actually helped someone, like Dirk would. He bought this game to emulate his hero, after all - his real life was boring... Or at least it seemed that way. But safety could be described as pretty boring, compared to the last few days... Finishing his pie unceremoniously, he was about to head to sleep for the night, when Reylan walked up to him as well.
"Hey Dirk, I got the treaty if you want to sign it! The Legion of the Wolf couldn't go on without our trusty paladin."
Flexing a bicep and placing his other hand on the muscle, Theo gave out a hearty laugh-
"You can count on me! The D in Dirk stands for DEPENDABILITY!"
Theo gave a hearty laugh after shouting this out, timing it so that Julia was not present - whether she was in the bathroom or the kitchen, Theo had no idea. He quickly signed the document, before rising from his seat. He soon turned to leave, before stopping and speaking out in a much calmer voice.
"The name isn't as heroic as I'd like, but it suits us. You especially. Night Reylan."
Giving a wave as he walked away, Theo headed to his room, somewhat calmer than usual. Today was... honestly the most honest work that Theo had done in his life. Unequipping his armor, he slid under the covers, sleeping softly in preparation for the dungeon ahead of them.
Waking up at 6, Theo quickly headed down to the shops, praying that the rumor he heard while serving the tables was correct - thankfully, he found that a player somehow managed to get their hands on a full suit of plate armor, and was selling it for only 80% of the market price! The player, apparently named Kcorex, was somewhat mysterious, but Theo honestly didn't mind. After all, everyone wore masks. Upon meeting the robed man, the exchange went without a hitch - so smoothly, in fact, Theo was honestly worried that the armor was stolen or something. Still, it had set him back a pretty penny, but now he actually had some REAL protection. Quickly rushing back to the Inn, he equipped his new armor and set out with his companions (and a few new faces) to the dungeon.
The dungeon wasn't much different from how it was only a few days ago - other than the fact that a few exits have been closed off. Did someone clear them and they didn't respawn yet or something? Or was the admin "helping" them? Theo didn't have much time to deliberate over this, as many foes quickly appeared in front of them all. Following Reylan's instructions, Theo was thankful he was in the lead of the party - his slow speed didn't hold him back too much as he slashed into wolf 3, and as soon as he finished that, thrust his blade into wolf 2. Wolf 4, on the other hand, was his by a ball of fire coming from the side - presumably Alisea. Not knowing if he could hit the beast reliably, Dirk moved directly in front of wolf 4, prepared to leap in front of it should it try to move around him. Since wolf 2 and 3 were aggroed on him, they shouldn't be a problem... for now.
"Try not to draw too much aggro - I don't want to waste my mana this early in!"
A hearty chuckle escaped his lips, and Theo grew slightly concerned that he didn't even intend to say that - he simply said it on his own, in a near perfect impression of Dirk. Thoughts of his Acting Skill and the Rosary floated in his mind, but he quickly shook it off, focusing on the pain he would feel soon.
Summary: Moves ahead of the group slightly Attacks Wolf 2 Attacks Wolf 3 Blocks Wolf 4's path.
EDIT: Geez, I'm terrible with my flakiness. Sorry, post should be out on Friday or Saturday - it's about halfway done right now, but I'm pretty fried after today.
Ace was never really the video game type, considering he had only played a few before he was kidnapped. Still, eve if the wanted to play, the offer to play games wasn't directed at him - Ace had learned a long time ago that speaking when you aren't directly spoken to was usually a bad move. Or at least the backhand of several different officers had ingrained that thought on him over the last few years. After the offer was extended, Rachel also began to speak.
Thankfully, the meeting quickly started and ended, with Ace paying little attention. He was not used to that kind of atmosphere in the slightest, so he mostly allowed the others to talk. Still, if he heard anything, it was the credits - Ten million for bodyguards... Following behind Terry, Rachel and Johnathon, a Moonstrike announcement began to play, with the leader appearing... While Ace really didn't care for Moonstrike or the Ascendancy, he didn't enjoy that the woman hid her appearance. After all, a figure head should be someone you rally behind knowing full well who they are, not some mysterious entity. Soon after that announcement was finished, however, the Ascendancy quickly made it's own reply.
While the general was not famous for showing his public face either, he at least did for this message. Hr proceeded to describe the Ascendancy's point of view - and while Ace initially expected the typical propaganda that was spewed while he was under their care, this man actually provided reasonable arguments - he actually acknowledged the corruption within the government that was obvious. Up until the end, Ace actually found himself approving of what the man was saying.
The part about rebellion was what made Ace pause, however. He was horribly mistreated and tortured for nearly half his life, and this was his one chance to actually change and choose to rebel against the people who did that against him - and he felt no incentive to do so. It was a strange, almost alien feeling. He knew that he probably should have been angry, but after the years of brainwashing and abuse, Ace really only cared about finding his father - everything else was secondary. Hell, while most of his allies were motivated by revenge on the tyrannical leadership of the Ascendancy, Ace honestly could not care less. He just wanted his old life back. Soon, the transmission ended, and Ace opened his mouth to comment on the announcement.
He immediately closed it, deciding to wait for the others to respond instead. He knew that getting on their bad side was a bad move, and approving of anything related to the Ascendancy in front of a bunch of other child soldiers was simply begging for him to either be beaten, or to be sold out the second things got bad.
A fairly average build, Chika's brain had taken a large amount of energy and nutrients from the rest of her body - as such, her muscles are undeveloped and she only stands at 4'10. She weighs 91 pounds. Like many mutation-type quirks, Chika's body physically changed, but luckily only slightly - she has red hair, normally impossible for a Japanese person. She is extremely pale thanks to years of staying indoors, and her hair is kept short to prevent mishaps during construction and because it is easier to care for.
She typically wears a lab coat along with a dress or sweater, with little variation. She does not care for heels, only wearing them in formal situations. She prefers to either wear none, or loafers. Her villain outfit is the exact same as her casual wear, the only difference being that she dons a gas mask to hide her face and protect her respiratory system from dust and chemicals.
--
Weapons: Preferring to stay out of the front lines, Chika has designs for robots that she has created over the years - unfortunately, she only has a few left over, thanks to a lack of resources. Given time and materials, however, she could produce more (and better) creations.
One-Pointers: Slightly smaller than 5 feet, the One-Pointers were originally conceived as units for U.A students to fight against in their entrance exams. These specific units lack the firearms and are significantly smaller than their U.A counterparts (thanks to few resources), but are even faster... and even more fragile. Still, they are quick, and are able to slam into enemies with their blunt 'arms' for moderate damage. They can be programmed or remotely controlled, and Chika currently has 5.
Viewers: Small drones roughly the size of a basketball, they possess a camera that can be viewed from miles away. They can fly a decent speed (slightly faster than that of a normal person), and up to an altitude of 400 feet. Unfortunately, they are also very weak, lacking any weapons and being quite fragile. Chika has 3.
Other than these, she has none of her own weapons, but given the resources and time, could easily make better robots and weapons.
Villain Equipment: She wears her civilian attire when in her villainous persona, the only difference being that she usually dons a gas mask. Other than this, she carries tools that would assist her in most mechanical situations, like a welder and blow torch. Other than this, she plans on carrying smoke and tear gas bombs, once she is able to gain the proper facilities to make them.

Combat Section
Strength: By far Chika's weakest attribute, Chika is very weak physically. Usually, she has relied on technology and her inventions in order to help her do more brute force labor, and it would be very easy for normal people to physically over power her.
Endurance: Mentally, Chika can think and work constantly, her body needing rest and sleep before she is mentally tired. Physically, while she can stay up longer than most people and needs less sleep, she is physically weak and only does light exercise. She is significantly below average when it comes to physical endurance/ stamina, only being able to run for a 2-3 minutes at a light jog before needing to stop and rest.
Willpower: Thanks to her quirk, Chika can perform nearly any type of mental work constantly, no matter how tedious and boring. She hasn't felt mental fatigue since she was a child, before her quirk was developed. Other than possessing an inhuman level diligence for mental tasks, she is mostly average when it comes to everything else - however, when she is motivated to invent something or does something stereotypical of a mad scientist, she works tirelessly and refuses to give up until she competes her task.
Speed: Chika is below average when it comes to pure speed, as she rarely does cardio. Thanks to her poor physical endurance and speed, it would take her at least 20 minutes to run a mile, putting her significantly below average. Despite this, her mental processing speed is incredibly quick, and she can solve mental work that would take others hours in only a few minutes.
Reaction Speed: Chika has above average reaction time, thanks to her faster mental processes. She can respond to actions faster than the normal person, but this is completely reliant on her quirk. While she can respond to things faster, her low physical attributes can result her in being unable to do anything, even if she can react to them faster.

Quirk Section:
Name of Quirk: Brain Power
Ability of Quirk: Chika possesses Hyper Intelligence, possessing a processing power similar to that of a super computer. She is capable of studying and researching for hours, if not days, at a time, and she is easily one of the smartest individuals on the planet. This has allowed her to create many different types of inventions - however, the quirk has also severely altered her personality, making a regular life very difficult.
Qualities of Quirk: Chika can think and produce plans far faster than the average person - forming logical conclusions and general plans can be formed very quickly, and usually at a higher quality than a normal person. She also can work mentally for hours on end, possessing a mental diligence that exceeds that of most people. Finally, the most used feature of her quirk, Chika is able to create inventions and technological devices of incredible quality and power - usually focusing on robotics.
Strengths of Quirk: Vast intellect is useful for any strategist, and while Chika rarely contributes her own plans and strategies, she is always willing to add her own opinions on how to make one better. Other than this, given time and resources, she can create nearly any kind of device - or at least, anything not far more advanced than current technology. Her quirk also gifts her with incredible mental endurance, to the point where her physical need for sleep will force her to stop, not her mental exhaustion. Her intelligence is a mutation quirk, constantly active.
Weaknesses of Quirk: While the quirk is mostly passive in nature, it has caused several personality alterations in Chika. Chika, no matter how dire the situation, refuses to use any device that she does not have an understanding of - when it comes to weapons and robotics, she even refuses to use anything that she herself has not created. While this seems mostly benign, as she gains more access to resources and materials, this will progress to her refusing to use any device not of her own creation or design. Additionally, she lacks any humanity - over the years, she has completely disconnected herself from most people, and cannot form a strong connection with any person. In comparison, she holds incredible sentimental value and love for her possessions and creations, and will fly into a blind fury if anyone were to try and harm them.. Thanks to her increased mental strength and memory, she holds grudges for very long periods of time, usually for the most arbitrary of reasons. Finally, as time goes on and she becomes even more intelligent, she will blatantly ignore the needs of her body - her brain will take up progressively more energy, and her body will wither and become weaker over time.
Limits of Quirk: While she is definitely above peak-human levels of intellect, Chika still has a clear limit on her intellect - she will never be able to grow smart enough in her lifetime to create things like FTL-travel or works of machinery you would expect to see in a space opera. And, while her processing power is comparable to weak supercomputers, she still is limited to human perception and limits - she' can't simply dodge out of the way of bullets by 'calculating their paths' because that is impossible to do with the human eye and her physical speed isn't quick enough. Finally, while she can invent many creations, she is by no means capable of making a perfect machine from imperfect parts - she always requires resources and time to make her creations, and can't make a gun out of a tennis ball and tape or something ridiculous like that.

Biography: Born to an average family in Osaka, Japan, Chika was the daughter of a chef and an accountant - mother and father. Chika grew up well taken care of, her family always supportive and helpful towards her, especially in her early inventing years. She was never deprived of attention - in fact, a majority of the time, Chika simply rejected her parents, vastly preferring to keep to her own devices and creations than human interaction. Had it not been for her quirk, she most likely gone down the path of NEETdom. But, now we're getting a little ahead of ourselves - let's go back to the beginning.
Chika was a fairly normal child from birth, not being some exceptional child that developed quickly or already had their quirk from birth. Instead, she was a normal child, developing at an average speed and displaying no abnormal traits - she was healthy, but nothing spectacular, and was on track when it came to growing. Her real potential revealed itself when she turned 7 months old, and finally her quirk developed.
Immediately, 7 month old Chika grew hyper intellect, learning perfect Japanese in only 3 weeks. Only a few months after her quirk developed, she was already a genius, having learned basic algebra by the age of one year old. While still possessing the body of a toddler, Chika rapidly grew smarter, and as her body grew, so did her intellect. Her parents were surprised, as Chika's grandfather on her mother's side, whom she inherited her quirk from, had nowhere near such a massive boost to his intellect. Still, Chika's parents realized her incredible gift, and hired numerous tutors for her since she was too young to enter school. From a young age, she studied from the best tutors her parents could afford (aka, mediocre), and her already impressive development skyrocketed. By the time she was 4 and most children were entering Pre-k or daycare, Chika was already on par with most high schoolers, but was still home-schooled. Her parents were very protective, and thanks to the changes that her quirk had made to her mind, Chika did not care for social interaction anyways. Instead, she locked herself away whenever not learning, focusing on creating... things. It initially started as a project for a tutor, a small model of the solar system, but very quickly, Chika realized she was quite talented at creating machines.
She eventually entered Tokyo University, graduating with a doctorate in Engineering at the age of 8. By now, many investors had taken an incredible interest in her, and by 10, she was hired by U.A to construct the robots used in their entrance exams to this day. She traveled the world, and was rarely given free time - between lectures and inventing, she had very little time to her own devices, and her mental health began to slowly degrade. By 14, she had developed her persona - a crazed stereotype of mad scientists, which she used in order to help alienate herself from the public and deal with her lack of desire to interact with other humans. By 16, Chika was easily one of the smartest people on the planet, and knew more than 10 different languages - but due to her mental status taking an even larger dive, more and more business ventures closed themselves to her. She eventually was a social pariah, and despite her impressive devices, her mental quirks and strange behavior made her difficult to work with. She eventually ran away from home, after her father had thrown away one of her Viewers for "nearly killing him," by slamming into a ladder he was on. While a normal person would easily take this as valid reasoning, Chika had grown so disconnected from normal people, that she cares more about her own machines then she did about her own parents.
Without a place to stay and little money, it was easy for Dark Tree to recruit her at the age of 17 - after all, she cared little for human life, so villain work was by no means out of the question. She mostly worked as a driver and support unit, maintaining the equipment and making new gadgets for the fellow members of Dark Tree. While she herself has no real desire or ambition of her own, just being offered the money and resources necessary to continue inventing and creating her precious machines is more than enough for her.
Personality: Chika is... special, in so many words. Her quirk, unlike most, directly affected her personality - she is a psychopath, lacking any sort of empathy for others and placing more value on her machinery and creations than the lives of innocents. Still, this plays very well into a villainous lifestyle, and while she sees no value in most people's lives, she does place value in the lives of those that affect her - after all, she cares for her fellow Dark Tree members, since they protect her from harm. This, however, is mostly superficial and shallow, her 'care' for others being entirely reliant on how useful a person is, or will be, to Chika. Her Quirk also made it so that she holds other inventions, other than her own, at a far lower level - to the point where she will refuse to use them unless she is assured they will work. Given more time for her quirk to grow, however, and she will eventually shun them in favor of only devices of her own creation. Her memory and mental power allows her to hold grudges longer than most, and usually for inane and relatively pointless reasons.
Other than the personality her quirk had given her, however, Chika is relatively benign - she places a high value on intellect, respecting people who have gone through large amounts of schooling. She is also incredibly paranoid, ever since she nearly died from a virus shutting her down inside of one of her mechs - she eventually was saved, but the event left both a paranoia of people attacking her for no apparent reason, but no claustrophobia surprisingly - instead or being afraid of small spaces, she could not comprehend the thought that one of her own machines could harm her, and only felt fear that she may run out of oxygen before being saved. This paranoia is so strong that she refuses to not be accompanied by one of her creations, no matter what circumstance. Other than these fears, she also does not understand most social cues and norms, leaving her constantly guessing if someone is lying or not - another thing that plays into her paranoia. Still, to those that she deems as 'valuable,' she is easily deceived when it comes to things outside of her expertise, like social and cultural formalities.
While she is clearly a selfish person who is prepared to commit any number of atrocities against people, she still has some positive qualities to her - she will almost always lend a hand or one of her devices to help out when asked, and will provide repairs or supplies if people need them. Providing actual interest in her devices and inventions and being a constant presence would be a good way to get on her good side, and possibly even get her to care for them sincerely, despite her quirk neutering those types of emotions. She is a very hard worker, ever since she was a child, and it is clear to see that she is very driven to succeed... something. She seems to have no major drives other than inventing, and she has never shown an interest in romance. She goes to a great deal of effort when motivated to do something, and when it comes to inventing, she always puts her best effort in. She takes pride in her work, and will go to great lengths to make what other's want - as long as her creations are used and taken care of, she is more than willing to simply give them away.
Along with these traits, Chika had developed a personality similar to that of the popular Mad Scientists of fiction, people that she had always held with high regard. This was to counteract her difficulty communicating with others, thanks to her developmental years mainly being home-schooled. This persona has caused her to be melodramatic, eccentric, and has even been the driving force of her villainous name, Dr. Minaccia being a character on a children's Shonen Anime that she used to watch occasionally. She often talks to herself in different voices or on the phone, and will burst into maniacal laughter at the slightest provocation. Not wearing a lab coat is unthinkable to her, and uttering cliched lines of an anime villain is almost second nature. Everything she does must be over-the-top, and she has even gone as far as to make her living space cluttered with notes and random equations written on papers in order to give her room a "Frankenstein-kinda feel."

Other: Chika has a sweet tooth, and loves lollipops.
Chika knows 18 languages, including, but not limited to: Japanese, English, German, French, Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Korean, Vietnamese, Italian, and Turkish. Wow!
@vancexentan This alright? I'm worried the quirk might be a little OP.

By 16, Chika was easily one of the smartest people on the planet - but due to her mental status taking an even larger dive, more and more business ventures closed themselves to her.

The inn was in silence for several seconds, and Theo was just beginning to blush horribly. He had ruined his reputation among the people in the inn, and he sure as hell wouldn't be liked by any criminals if that bandit talked to anybody. Hell, Theo may have just made himself look like an edge lord who constantly threatened to kill people. He felt like he couldn't be any more embarrassed, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Alisea and Reylan. Not only had he just ruined his 'Nice Guy' reputation among a bunch of NPCs, but now his future guild would realize he could be intimidating.
A few seconds after dread and despair washed over him, a clapping rapidly began to his right - turning revealed that it was the waitress, Julia. After a few seconds, Hans joined in as well, quickly followed by many of the other inn patrons. After only a minute of applause, but what felt like an eternity to an embarrassed Theo, the clapping subsided, and both Hans and Julia rushed up to him.
"That was amazing Theo! You just told him to walk away and he was tripping over himself!"
"You saved my life, adventurer - it's not much, but I'm sure I could scrounge up a reward for you."
Theo blinked several times, mind still racing from the events that had only occurred nearly moments ago. He threatened a human being - well, a human shaped piece of code, but for all purposes... that was a person that he threatened. And he wasn't acting when he said that he would kill them... That's what scared Theo the most. Not letting the shock show on his face, Theo instead waved his hand dismissively.
"Please sir, you don't owe me anything! After all, it's a hero's ideal to protect people, with no intention of getting a reward!"
In reality, Theo would have greatly appreciated a few extra renn, considering his current financial situation, but Dirk would never charge people who were just about to be robbed. That would make him just as bad as the bandit.
Hans was no stranger to unruly customers, but that bandit was extremely close to killing him since the dagger was so close to his throat... Had Theo not been working at the inn, Hans wasn't sure if he would have kept the money he made that day. The fact that Theo was so intimidating was nearly as much of a surprise as to how he wanted no money in exchange for saving his life - most people had to offer decent chunks of Renn and make quests in order to get an adventurer to help them. Still, even if Theo didn't want any reward, he still worked the last 8 hours, so he deserved something.
"Still, you deserve something for your labor today. I'll go grab your wage - you can get changed back into your normal clothes, since you're off the clock."
Theo immediately made his way to the break room, before switching into his leather armor in the menu. The change only took a few seconds, but he felt more comfortable changing equipment in public, away from other people. Upon coming back and receiving his wage, Theo denied a free meal offered to him, instead paying for it with some of his recently gained Renn. Of course, it was the exact same meal he got every single time - The Shepard's pie. To be honest, he mostly bought it since he knew it was good - no point in risking to buy another meal if you're not sure if you'll like it.
Especially if you're saving up your cash and aren't willing to potentially waste it...
Theo made his way towards Alisea and Reylan, unaware of their conversation up to this point - instead, he simply sat down at a nearby table, waiting for his food to arrive - after eating, he planned on either talking, or immediately heading to sleep.
