Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

The dungeon itself was impressive, as to be expected from such a structure. It reached far beyond the clouds in the sky, to the point that May wondered how in the hell they even managed to keep it standing. The foundation and building material either had to be far beyond anything most people are capable of, or (more likely) the structure itself was kept steady through magic. May quickly made her way towards the monolith - she was dressed in the rather plain dress that she had worn for the majority of her life, the only differentiating thing being that it was significantly more padded than usual. An older woman that she knew from the streets had offered to patch it up for her when she headed into the dungeon for the first time... Along with her dress, she also had the iron dagger she was given by her father since she was a child. He gave it to her to only be used to protect herself from vagrants and more violent members of the slums, but she was thankfully able to avoid such circumstances.

As she approached, parties became apparent features of the tower - teams organizing their strategies before entering the hellscape that lied just below the surface. It was hard to discern whether she was jealous or grateful - With another person there, she would have more help, but she would be forced to share the loot with whoever she sided with. That was something she would do her best to avoid - especially if she paired up with someone that was a stranger. Just as was within view of the Towers entrance, however, May saw her.

She was a beast human, specifically a hume bunny. She had light blond hair, and sported a large amount of bags and bottles that hung from her sides. What caught May was that the girl was a member of her familia - and, therefore, most likely a senior figure to her. May her self only recently joined the familia, so it was fair to say the vast majority of the familia was her senior. The temptation to call out and party was tempting, but considering how far out ahead she was, it was quickly suppressed. May knew from experience that the best way to live was to get as little attention as possible - being some big shot was a quick way to get stabbed where she was from. If they meet up, they met up - May just wouldn't be the one to instigate it. Asking for help was a sign of weakness. Worst case scenario, May would do what she planned to - fight on the first floor, get as much as she could, and leave.

Best case scenario, they teamed up - having an ally was more valuable than first floor drops. And it would be better to team up with someone from the same familia - the Isis familia had been generous so far in their care.
Interested as heck, character will be out soon!

EDIT: Probably gonna make a healer.

Once he finished speaking, the hungry woman responded to Temperance's thanks with a few words, and by snatching one of the escaping beetles from the lunch box.

"You don't mind me havin' one, do you Henry? I've got a bunch of other snacks to spare, in return."

"Negative. Sharing foundation of Friendship."

Excellent - Henry was officially friends with at least two other people, and judging by the various kids splintering off into separate factions, he was also part of a 'group,' or 'clique.' Excellent.

Speaking of factions, both the girl that was rude to the hungry one, and the leaf girl had returned. Henry briefly contemplated whether aggressiveness would be appropriate, considering the Asian girl was somewhat mean to his new friend, but he chose against it. He didn't want to make enemies, since that would simply bothersome and take up time.

"Would you mind keeping the disruptive noises such as that down please, such noises can be rather distressing, especially when unexpected. And given the situation, it's likely best to wait for a staff member from the academy rather than causing a ruckus. "

Henry silently decided to follow the statement, doing his best to lower the intensity of his buzzing. He knew that he must have been a bother to most of the kids here, especially considering his strange physiology. Avoiding conflict and trying to pass with as little resistance as possible was the best course of action. Almost immediately, however, this request of silence was broken by the resonating sound of a horn, coming from a bus that had just arrived. Temperance was kind enough to use her sped to secure the group a spot in the back of the bus. With another loud bang, Henry's form was once again scattered.

Rather than waste the time and gather back into a humanoid form, Henry instead had the majority of his form follow several other students onto the bus. Only 100 remained, and they moved all of Henry's luggage onto the bus - right next to the lunchbox that Temperance had made for him. In all, the space on the seat wasn't even completely filled, and while he could have sat down right there, he didn't want to cause his new friends discomfort - his form was rather intimidating, especially for those not well acquainted with him. Sitting down would simply cause the others to feel uncomfortable. Instead, all of Henry's wasps flew and collected on the roof, landing and being as quiet as possible. Only a single wasp remained on the seat that he had planned to sit at. Occasionally, the lone wasp would kill one of the insects, before carrying it and switching places with one of the wasps in the corner of the bus.

The woman thankfully picked up the honey, before she began to spread it along bread and combined it with peanut butter - a delicacy that Henry himself had never tried.

"Uh ... huh. Hey, thanks. Can't tell if I'm actually lookin' at you, but thanks. You're a pretty swell ... uh, guy? Er, what's your name anyhow?"

It seemed that the offering had succeeded in "Breaking the ice." Now Henry would simply need to learn the woman's name, her hobbies, favorite color, and offer to let her copy his homework if she forgets. Then, they would be friends. Preparing himself to respond, Henry was interrupted as another person swatted several of the wasps that had pushed the succulent treat over to the women. Henry had saw her in the crowd earlier, but had just noticed her appear - while the swatting itself was easy to ignore, it had nearly crippled one of the wasps that had gotten severely hit - not too much of a problem, since there were 2000 more, but Henry still needed time to set up the new nest before he could risk having wasps die.

"Yeah, you might want to stop doing that, I'm pretty sure that these wasps are a person. Or something. They can talk, so I'm pretty sure. Besides, they gave me honey, so their fine in my book."

immediately, the intensity of the buzzing insects increased - excellent, she did recognize him as a friend! Perfect, most of the other steps could be skipped in that case. Simply learning her name would suffice. The woman who had smacked him suddenly swore in response, before beginning to stumble with her words. Henry realized this was an excellent time to establish a "cool guy" impression by kindly dismissing the rude action, but before he had the chance, a burst of wind dragged his form apart temporarily.

Luckily, no wasps were injured in the sudden shock wave, but as the air rushed to fill in places where it was somehow displaced, the force was strong enough to drag the wasps apart. It merely took a few seconds to return to their original positions, but it was still very disconcerting.

The girl seemed to have moved her original position, and was bearing a somewhat plain lunchbox containing a collection of insects. Henry had long ago forsaken the disgust most people get when looking at bugs, a necessity considering his situation, and listened to the woman speak.

"I'm terribly sorry for that. I didn't even consider the possibility you might be more than you seemed. Here, I got these for you."

"Thanks. Name Henry. Male. Nice meet both you."

Suddenly, a dilemma occurred - while the second girl was kind enough to use her abstraction (Some form of super speed? Having enough time to fill a lunch box eliminated teleporting.), Henry was not sure if he could lift the metallic box with only a few wasps. He easily could using his entire body, but that would freak the woman out, and he didn't want to scare away potential friends.

"Please, put on ground."

While the train ride itself was fairly boring, Henry was more focused on carrying his belongings - a phone, a small jar of honey, several pens and pencils, a 100 dollar bill, and the letter that he was given by the academy. He mostly left them on the ground covered in wasps, but the jar was far too precious to leave there - an ant could easily steal the succulent contents, especially considering the lid was not very tight. It couldn't be, or else Henry wouldn't be able to open it at all. Upon getting situated, and when the other students exited the train, Henry quickly observed them.

None of the individuals looked particularly eye catching - or, at the very least, none of their alterations made them appear radical. Only one girl appeared different from the others, appearing to be entirely made of plant matter. The thought of having another mutated student calmed Henry slightly. He was very nervous, after all - this was very different from his old home town in Virginia.

While the other students didn't show any obvious signs of their alterations, Henry still took notice - it would be detrimental if one of them had a dangerous alteration. An albino man who appeared very muscular, but thanks to the hair, Henry's father most likely would have assumed he was one of the gays. Henry, however, did not rush to such conclusions - he simply chose to believe that the man had a particular style. People did alter their appearance simply on personal taste, and hair is the easiest part to change, after all.

A fairly aesthetic woman was next, appearing to be of some Asian descent, and was gorging herself on food. Henry was briefly bought back to a Nutrition class he had taken at his old high school, and judging on the large quantity of food, the woman had eaten at least a few thousand calories. Perhaps she did not normally eat like that, and it was simple stress.

Another albino was present, this one wearing a hoodie and seeming to be rather aloof. Henry could not make a good assessment of the man, and chose to keep his distance.

A black haired woman with long hair, a short and black haired man, a red headed girl, and a dark red headed boy appeared as well, but there was really nothing to comment on about them. They were simply present, and the vision of a wasp was not good enough to make perfect observations. The most interesting of the group, the plant woman, began the introductions - or, Lea began the introductions would be more appropriate now that Henry knew her name.

Almost immediately, everyone began to either introduce themselves, or return a half-assed greeting - something that pissed Henry off. If you do something, at least be serious about it. He was about to introduce himself to Lea, when another girl began to talk at length, before dragging Lea away. Following would have been as easy as sending a wasp to spy on them, but Henry had been yelled at several times for sending his wasps and listening behind others backs - apparently, it was very rude.

With nothing to do, Henry chose to do what his mother had recommended - sharing was a valuable way to make friends, and she had said being close to a person makes them more efficient in their duties. With several wasps pushing his honey jar against the ground, Henry slowly moved it to the woman who had eaten so much food earlier - out of the available people, she was the most likely to accept the offer.

As the jar was finally pushed to her feet, Henry quickly focused, and with focused effort, succeeded in speaking.

"Would you like? Look Hungry. Sharing develop friendship."

DAY 7 - Genesis City - 9AM

Waking up to the warm rays of light coming through his window, Theo rose from bed ready to start the day. He payed for shower and breakfast, before making his way to the Data Link 66 Guild house, and after an hour or two to travel there and pay for it, he successfully got a subscription. The information would be expensive, but anything was worth knowing what was happening in the game.

After reading the first PM, Theo made his way to the Arena. He had been wondering since he had gotten them, but the spells he had gotten were incredibly powerful - to the point that he wanted to test them out on an opponent. Of course, going out in the wilderness was dangerous, and he didn't want to inconvenience his friends.

After visiting the apothecary and the fountain in order to top off his health and mana, Theo arrived at the arena to see that there were several other players already there. As it turned out, many players dueled in the arena due to it being spacious and a place that fighting was expected to be done. Theo watched a few fights occur, before making his way closer to a group of players talking with one another. Theo didn't want to interrupt them, so he simply waited and listened to see if there was anything interesting that they would do.

@JELDare
