I will get a post up within 24 hours
"Great, there goes the beach day." Olivia jokingly complained at the suggestion of asking Professor Cranston about the crystals. "Seriously though, I'm curious as well. And now that you mention it I did feel oddly drawn to "mine"." She used finger quotes at the word "mine" since she knew all too well it wasn't technically hers and that depending on What Cranston told them about the crystals they might have to give them up. She hoped she would get to keep it though.

Now that she knew the others were also likely drawn to the crystals, Olivia noticed something. Almost all of them picked a crystal that at least somewhat matched the color of their clothes. The fact that Cleo picked the purple one did make her wonder if it was just a coincidence so she didn't mention it, but she decided to keep it in mind in case Cranston wanted to know if any of them noticed anything else weird.
I'm half suspecting Albie's new "friend" to be either a magic knight captain and/or a member of the Revolutionaries
There was no way Albie was going to give his name, not if there was a chance it would allow the old man to use magic against him. So instead he tried to think of a Noble that was likely to join the exam but ended up just saying a random name he made up from the top of his head "How about David Abelona?"

The offer of credit was way more tempting and unless the man screwed him over Albie had every intention of honoring it, and not just an information broker would make for an useful connection if he did manage to become a magic knight. The way he looked for eavesdroppers was a bit suspicious since just offering information wasn't illegal or even cheating but Albie figured that letting someone get any knowledge the man had to offer for free was bad business. "Maybe we should talk somewhere more private. Do you know any good places?" He still didn't fully trust the situation but he could use any edge he could get so he might as risk it. If the old guy did lead him to a more private spot he would prepare a Magic Bullet, since even if it was weak it didn't need his grimoire and would hopefully catch any would be attacker off guard.
Albie didn't like how the official brushed him off, but seeing the line of people the guy still had to deal with could at least understand it. He was looking for the actual entrance of the coliseum when he noticed the blue haired girl from earlier in the distance, even in this crowd she was hard to miss. While he wondered if he should use the opportunity to talk to her even though she was no doubt a noble he realized she was already the center of attention of several other guys. Shrugging he gave up on meeting her and pinned his badge to his chest.

Just as Albie had decided to circle the coliseum he nearly bumped into an old man. He almost instinctively reached for his pouch to see if his money was still there but resisted the urge not wanting to reveal where he kept it. "Sorry." "Psst! Hey kid! You, you're a Commoner, ain'tcha? It's unfair, competin' with all these nobles, ain't it? "Howz'about it?! I got...Information~!"

The old man was right that Albie was a commoner and that he had a disadvantage compared nobles, or really anyone that could get close to him, but his offer seemed fishy. On the other hand if it was legit it could be helpful. As he was thinking it over the old man went into more detail as to what information he had, even revealing a notepad.

"So, whaddya say?! Willin' ta make a little trade, kid?!" Figuring that with them this out in the open a robbery was unlikely Albie decided to take the possible bait, and to just take the info with a grain of salt. "What do you want? I don't have any money."

Joke's on you, I was listening to that (and every other season's OP) on my way to the gym this morning! They STILL slap (except, imo, Mystic Force and Operation Overdrive). RANGERS, FOREVER!

The ones made by Wasserman are especially good

Albie knew Kikka would be crowded due the Magic Knights tryouts but this was more than he expected. He looked around constantly, having to resist the urge to spend his all his money at the many stalls. "Miracle Potion! Come try my Miracle Potion!" That was clearly something that sounded too good to be true but curiosity almost got the better of the farm boy. Luckily before he could approach the stall selling the miracle potion Albie was distracted by an attractive blue haired girl who seemed to know where she was going.

Reminding himself to save his money for food and hopefully a room at an inn Albie followed her from a distance, hoping she was going to the coliseum as well. On the way there he passed a stall selling food on a stick with only one customer around who left after buying something. Figuring that a stall that ignored probably sold low quality and his hopefully cheap food Albie gave up on following the girl to buy a meager breakfast/lunch. "One turkey leg, please." "Here." The stall owner handed over Albie's order, holding his hand out for the money. After paying Albie immediately tried a bite. Honestly Albie didn't think the deep fried turkey was terrible, but than again meat wasn't something he had often.

Not knowing where to go Albie went with the flow of the sea of people, and as expected arrived at the coliseum. After getting in the shortest line he could find he spotted the blue haired girl from earlier again. She was quite a bit away so he had no idea what was going on but she seemed to be talking to another girl.

While Albie didn't have to wait too long it still felt like quite a while but he eventually made his way to one of the selection officials. "Name, age, place of birth?" "Albie Finch, 17, Bullmar. I use Arro.." "I don't need your life story kid, you're number 212. Next!"
So about the RP itself. Let’s talk about our shared history. :D

How did they all meet/become friends? What’s the dynamics like? What do the others think of each other?

That is a good question, Oliva could be the neighbor of someone and/or classmate of one of the younger rangers.

Also @Damo021 Cleo and Olivia have a lot in common. Both are bi, they like gaming, though probably different genres, and they both are into dancing. I'm not complaining or anything, as they are also different in some ways. I just though I would point it.
Also, fun fact, Trini doesn't have a skirt like Kimberly in the original Power Rangers because in the footage adapted, the Yellow Ranger is actually a guy LOL.

Yep MMPR also realized that having a Asian Yellow Ranger and a Black kid as the Black Ranger probably wasn't the smartest move, so when Trini and Zach left the Black Ranger Adam was played by Johnny Yong Bosch who is half Korean and the second Yellow Ranger Aisha was played by the Black Karan Ashley
Olivia Bosch was happy her friends invited her along to the beach but hoped it wouldn't end with all of them just lying on the sand. She had noting against tanning and looking at attractive people but just doing nothing wasn't her style. Since she hoped to do at least some swimming she wore a green tanktop and easily removable shorts. She was just about to suggest they should try out the water when Eddie pointed something out, wondering what it was. "I dunno but it looks pretty cool." She honestly was more into fantasy but something futuristic like that did appeal to her nerdy side.

Her interest grew even more when the container was opened and the crystals were revealed. "Okay, that is even better. Seeing that both Eddie and Ryan had grabbed one Olivia didn't think it would be too strange if she did the same and reached for the green one. While she didn't say anything her mind raced with possible ideas about where the container might have come. All here ideas were completely unrealistic as she was fully aware off, but that didn't mean it wasn't fun to imagine something outlandish.
