Hello, and hope you are doing well.
Though this specific account is new, I've had many years experience with roleplaying and I am, as you can see, looking for a new partner. I'll try and be straight to the point and concise as possible :)
- My partner must be at least 18. Not just because of any possible sexual content, but a variety of other possible adult themes as well.
- Female is my preferred choice for a partner.
- Casual writing is fine for me, but my style can vary from Free to Advanced, depending on the specific post. I don't mind if you prefer Free or Advanced, as long as you make an effort in punctuation and spelling. I'll always show the same respect for you. No, I won't pull you up on mistakes because, for one, I make them too and, secondly, I'm not an ass ;)
- One to two posts a week is leaning towards perfect, and please expect roughly that from me. We're here to have fun writing together, not busting each other's chops over matters of time. Of course, if you do want to post sooner, that's fine as well. No pressure either way.
- MxF is my preferred roleplay choice. I'd normally play a male.
- Character creation is a highly personal thing for everyone I think, more than other things. Personally, I don't normally do face claims. The majority of my characters are described in words, allowing my partner to fill in any taste-related blanks and other details important to them, while keeping my own tastes in check. If you do want to use face claims for your character, it's fine, all I ask is that you steer away from famous folk like movie stars, as that is one of my few small turnoffs.
- Romance is fine. I'm not on the hunt for smut, and the word itself has too strong of a porn undertone to it for my taste. "Sexual activity" of any sort is, however, welcome if the story heads down that path. fade to black is not a thing for me, as there's just no fun in that. All in or not at all.
- Restrictions are something I don't like in a roleplay, as I find most of the fun in roleplaying is the unexpected, and just letting the story unfold naturally. That said, OOC is of course essential for many things, and I won't enter a roleplay without an OOC chat on the side. If you don't have Discord for this, that's absolutely fine, I'm just as happy to communicate here. I prefer the roleplay itself to take place on the forum via message. Public forum can also be fine if your heart is set on it.
- Genres and time periods, I have a large number of interests in, which is why I didn't bother tagging any here. What I haven't found any interest in so far is anime or fandom. What I do take a special liking to is the Middle Ages and Post-Apocalyptic themes. Fantasy or otherwise. As long as the roleplay is fun for both players and has an element of plausibility, then the universe is our oyster.
- Dark themes can also, at times at least, be of interest to me. But not in the form of domineering vs. submissive or senseless torture or abuse. It needs to have a raw and explicit reasoning and intelligence to it that, again, isn't restricted by tags or rehearsal. Something that is psychologically daunting and feels real and maybe even terrifying can be fun when it's done right.
Contrast is also essential in a roleplay, having everything dark or everything light gets monotonous after a while. Life, even in roleplays, should have variety.
I will just list a few vague "themes and genres and things" to give you a general idea of what would be nice, in the hope you find interest in them, too. Please note that the themes mentioned, even when listed side by side, are not necessarily meant to corollate with each other. They are more or less notions, singular and not:
* Medieval
* Futuristic or post-apocalyptic.
* Modern.
* Sci-fi
* Western.
* Slice of life.
* Adventure. Exploration. Treasure.
* Romance. Perverted man. Abduction of woman. Unfaithful woman. Age gap.
* Abnormal, strange or unusual. Abilities. Powers.
* Twisted. Deception. Dark.
* Gritty. Grounded. Believable. Scary.
* Nice. Beautiful. Pleasant.
I'm not going to mention any specific stories I want to try out, as there are just so many variables to choose from, but please feel free to message me if you want to share your ideas and/or discuss anything I've mentioned here in more detail. You're always welcome.
