Arriving to his destination Kenta made his way back to the lab he was held in for a year, once there he saw the scientist franticly looking through papers. Soon he looked up at Kenta frightened causing him to jump back, “What’re you here for!?....Saaya!?”
Before Kenta could say anything a girl dropped behind him and threw a kick hitting Kenta in the neck sending him stumbling forward. Scowling, Kenta turned around to see a girl getting into a fighting stance. “Saaya is it? Couldn’t be a more whore-ish name,” Kenta said as he spat at her feet. She ran towards him throwing a punch in which Kenta side-stepped her and kicked her arm upwards; he then followed with a jump and wrapped his legs around her arm spinning giving out a loud cracking sound. Dropping to the floor with her, Kenta rolled over her with his legs still around her arm and flipped her over.
Kenta jumped to his feet and gave a kick to Saaya’s ribs giving another crack, sending her to across the room and hitting a wall. She stood up wiping the blood from her mouth with her non-broken arm, “Who’d think a man with no arms could fight so well?”
“Who’d think to underestimate their enemy,” Kenta said with narrowed eyes, “Even with no arms, even if I didn’t have legs you still wouldn’t be near half my skill level.”
“Funny you say that right after telling me not to underestimate my enemy,” Saaya replied.
“That is funny, you can tell by how unsatisfied I look,” Kenta said, “But I’m not underestimating, I’m estimating. Of course, you underestimated me thinking because I’m handicapped that you could take me down with that half effort kick….But taking an attack that I could have easily dodged, it gives me an idea of what you can do if you atleast put in effort. On top of that weighing your durability against my own skills, I’ve broken your arm and atleast six ribs, and I hardly used half of my power in those kicks. So you see, hanging around a Genius most of your life you pick up a few tricks on how to gauge your enemy.”
“S-Splendid indeed….” The scientist said as he watched from a corner.
Saaya looked angry, yelling out she clenched her fist and her arm muscles popped out looking as if they were ready to explode. She then appeared in front of Kenta causing his eyes to widen as she punched him causing him to flying into the wall. Kenta slid down it spitting out blood and coughing. Saaya walked up to him looking down at him, “What was that about not being at your skill level even if you had no legs?”
Kenta spent a few more seconds before he went quiet, hair covering his face. He then looked up with an open scab on his lip that was bleeding, he grinned, “That was good acting right?” he said before his head was sent into her gut sending her flying into the ceiling which she hit then landed with Kenta’s knee in her stomach.
“Like I said, even if I didn’t have legs you still wouldn’t be near half my skill level,” he said, “Sad you didn’t even notice me biting my lip to get it to bleed, or me pushing off before you actually landed your attack. Disgraceful.”
Kenta let Saaya fall off his knee before he looked at the scientist and walked up to him, “I’m going to keep it simple poindexter, having no arms isn’t exactly my ideal way to live. Now, I’m sure if you can make an exact clone of me and give it my arms with no indications that you did then you can make me arms. I didn’t come here to kill you, I just want arms. And I’m sure you won’t add anything that’ll let you take control of me or anything, because you know what just happened. A third seat and a genius just came to save me, now imagine what’ll happen if you try to do something else to me again.”
Kenta backed up giving the scientist room to move, he watched him intensely as he began working and never let his eyes off of him. Once he finished working he had Kenta lay down on a table, and had a few other scientists come in to help him. Within a few hours the scientists had built new arms and attached them to Kenta.
Kenta sat up as most of the people in the room left, looking at his new arms he began moving his fingers then raised his left hand. Metal? It’s better than nothing, Kenta thought.
“It’s a good set,” the head scientist said, “Able to handle high levels of heat, so fire is never a problem when it comes to these. As well shockwaves, blades, hammers….It can handle high levels of explosions, and would take the sharpest of blades to even get a scratch on them. And would take a considerable amount of strength to crush them….You’ll almost never lose them in a fight.”
“Oh good,” Kenta said before he stood up and grabbed the only other scientist in the room lifting her off the ground, “So, what’s the downside? As in, what did you do to them that they’ll fuck me up ultimately in the end?”
“W-What’re you doing!?” The scientist asked.
“Oh, her?” Kenta asked as he pointed to the girl he had in the air, “Well, if you don’t activate or tell what you have done to these arms in order for them to screw me over….Well, she’s going to die.”
“N-No, no, no I assure you nothing has been done! They’re just simple mechanical arms!”
“Mechanical means they can be controlled, you have five seconds,” Kenta said as his grip got tighter around the woman’s neck causing her to struggle against his grasp.
“There is nothing going on I promise you! I-“
“Ran out of time,” Kenta said he squeezed as tight as he could, letting the woman’s head fall over his hand. He gave a smirk to the scientist releasing his grip on the woman letting her drop. He then began walking towards the scientist staring at him. Once he got face to face with him Kenta smacked him to the floor. As the scientist fell he let out a small yip, Kenta kicked him over so he was on his stomach. Reaching down Kenta grabbed the man’s arms and pulled them back, he then placed his foot on the man’s spine lightly pulling his arms letting a sharp pain flow throughout the scientist.
“I thought you weren’t going to kill me!” he yelled.
“Oh I’m not; I’m just taking from you what you took from me!” Kenta said as he pressed harder on his back pulling his arms with extreme force, he then spoke in a low tone, “Eye for an eye,” crack, “Tooth for a tooth,” pop, “Arms for arms!” rip! Kenta had ripped the scientist arms off, letting the scientist fall to the ground leaking blood. Kenta then threw the arms down grabbing the scientist; he then threw him into a tub and shut it. “It won’t be that long, trust me, I know.”
Kenta gave out a satisfied chuckle as he walked out the room, last seeing the man’s terrified and horrid look. Once he was outside he took a couple steps back looking at the building, “Took longer than I expected with that fight….But I got out quick enough,” he said before the building suddenly exploded. Kenta covered his eyes for a second watching the explosion, he then turned around and began walking not minding the innocents he might have killed, but to him anyone working there was an enemy to him and the Soul Society for attacking and helping in the kidnapping of a Squad six Shinigami. Justice feels good, but I’m still a year behind everyone, Kenta thought as he began heading back towards the Seireitei. Time to get to work then, but first….I’m retiring from my position as a Squad six Shinigami.
(Was a bit rushed honestly)
