Its been another three months since Hozumi has been missing, which of course bummed Aya out greatly and somewhere along the line she just really couldn't forgive leaf for losing Hozumi in the first place and well that's how things ended between them. After the attack, plus all the betrayals that had happened it was clear they all needed to get stronger, mostly since the real threat was their old Head Captain. Aya always did want to fight him, and now she had a legit reason to fight him. She spent most of her days training in the woods as she never had to worry about any damage she might cause, as she would if she trained near the barrack. Kenji helped her train every now and then, and would cheer her up whenever she was too down in the dumps. Of course he was still brutally honest about things, yet it was something she grown use to. And today was no different, she was off in the woods again training.
"There you are," Kenji said as he sat in a tree biting into an apple. He then tossed one down to Aya, from being around him for four months surely she would have picked up his habit of always having apples and saving one for her. It was just something he did, and never told why, but he didn't even like apples! Kenji took another bite before tossing it between his hands. Him and Aya were pretty much in the same situation, neither of them getting closer to saving those they were trying to find. Kenji had gotten into a fight with a few gang members and picked up something, but it wasn't enough to do anything major. He looked down at Aya, the only person he actually warmed up to, something he thought he wouldn't do. It was probably their same situation or something, he wasn't sure, "You come to train or just get away?....Or are you just trying to get me alone?" He winked with a smirk.
