Barbarian: This movie is a fucking trap and completely goes off the rails within forty minutes. Good actors gets replaced with ones who can’t. Men are dumb and bad. And an inbred couple locked in a basement feeds someone a big baby bottle. There, I saved you two hours. 2/10

Imagine thinking Justin Long giving the best idiot sleazaeball performance is bad. Imagine missing the point of the movie so hard that you think it's "men are dumb and bad" considering the Keith character. Imagine spoiling the movie because you don't like it. What's a trap about it? Because it doesn't just go the obvious route? Also calling them an 'inbred couple' is wild considering it's quite clear they aren't a couple and she is, in fact, a victim and also she is not locked in the basement at all but I guess that would require not seeing a movie where the bad guy is a literal rapist and kidnapper as 'men are dumb and bad'. Like damn what things do you even like watching

The fact that She-Hulk attempted to pull a "We purposely made a bad ending of the show guys. Ha ha ha." Makes it one of the saddest pieces of fiction that I've never watched in my life.

That's not what it did, though. That's not at all what they did. The point wasn't "haha the ending is bad" it was "the MCU is very formulaic and this is us poking fun at that and reinforcing the point of the show was never 'superhero punchy origin story' but rather 'the protagonist comes to find a balance between two very different lives'.

After about a week with me playing less often and really only logging on to do my daily missions, I am rank 41 on the Overwatch 2 battle pass. With 50-something days left in the season it stands to reason that it is possible and feasible to get to rank 80, the max rank, just by doing dailies and weeklies.

This doesn't excuse putting future heroes on level 55 of the pass but it is also a bit less daunting considering just playing normally without the carrot on a stick of dailies and weeklies gets you a pittance of xp.

That Final Fantasy XIV thread I mentioned I wanted to start that one time.

Since it's going to be part of the relic grind now I'm gonna take the opportunity to say it once and for all: I never liked Hildibrand. I think those quests are like bad filler episodes in anime complete with humor that tries to be slapstick but borders on the absurdist which makes them annoying at the absolute best.

But at least it has nice references to other Finals Fantasy

My problem with the battle pass as it exists in Overwatch 2 is that you get a paltry amount of XP after games unless you specifically go for challenges. A player is unlikely to get to 80 on just daily challenges and weekly challenges alone. I'm at rank 23 but I also get a 20 percent xp buff because I got the premium pass with my 40 dollar pre order.
