D E S C R I P T I O NThanh is tall for their age and still growing, something that surprises both them and their parents. In fact they’re already almost the same height as their mother and will likely catch up with their father in no time. They’re fairly skinny, even with lithe muscles from hiking, due to how quickly they’ve been growing the last few years. Their hair is black and cut short, with a long fringe that will sometimes cover their eyes if not pushed back. It’s straight and rather thin meaning they don’t have to do much to it to keep it sitting nicely. Their face is soft but slightly square, with an undefined nose and slightly large, dark brown eyes. Their skin is a medium, slightly reddish brown. When not wearing school uniform Thanh will normally wear sweatshirts and other casual clothes, or the kinds of clothes someone might be found hiking in.
- PERSONALITY -
P E R S O N A L I T Y T R A I T SThanh is a loner, often found sitting alone rather than with groups of people. This isn’t entirely by choice but a mixture of circumstances, being a muggleborn Slytherin, and the fact they’re fairly introverted. Thanh struggles to make friends and is rather grumpy towards people they aren’t fond of. They’re also fairly fussy about the kind of people that they’d hang around with and won’t make friends with people they don’t like entirely. Thanh is stubborn and set in their own ways, incredibly opinionated. They don’t care about others’ opinions of them (well, does a very good job of pretending not to) and will stick to their guns when it comes to their beliefs.
Along with this Thanh is very ambitious and driven, always aiming to be the best in everything they do. This was in part ingrained in them by their parents and in part by their own wish to come out on top. However they don’t have a solid goal for what they want to do with their life due to being new to the wizarding world, but once they figure that out it will undoubtedly be their sole focus. They will often prioritise themselves over others, which further alienates themselves from making friends. This is not to say that they are in any way a bad person. In fact Thanh would love to have a small group of close friends that they could spend time with and care about. Sadly so far in life they’ve found it hard to get this and have just resigned themselves to being mostly alone.

- BACKSTORY -
Thanh has lived something of an ordinary life so far. They were born in Vietnam to her very non magical parents but moved to England when they were seven, and their sister was five, for their father’s work. They didn’t have many friends due to joining school where people were already close and struggling with English for the first year or so. This carried on for the next few years resulting in Thanh becoming more and more of a loner. Instead they concentrated on their studies, becoming top in their class. Along with this they were very close to their father who would often take them hiking and mountain climbing, something which they quickly grew to love.
They got their first introduction to the wizarding world when they got their hogwart’s letter. At first they couldn’t accept it, nor could their parents, but the more they learned the more curious they got. While Thanh’s parents still aren’t completely okay with the idea of magic existing they’ve allowed their child to go off to hogwarts anyway.
