Reisen Udongein Inaba

Intersection of Districts 5, 6, and 12

Watching the madman graze past (or occasionally take straight to the face) all of the bullets that she was throwing out, Reisen had to at least give him some credit; taking a few danmaku shots to the body was one thing, but rushing straight into someone shooting the bullets was a wholly different level of brickheaded. Granted, she had seen a few cards where that was the optimal way of dealing with them (a stupid little ice fairy came to mind here), but the bullets were so dense at this distance that it'd be well near impossible to not take at least twenty to the face in a single burst.

She was understandably surprised, though, when that was what ended up happening, Watching someone take that many bullets to the face and not be stunned? That was sorta...

Well, granted, he was likely running off a mix of insanity and adrenaline, which explained a lot, but still. When the Lunarian noticed that he was raising his sword to cut her down, though, she noticed one very crucial detail.

He was looking into her eyes. Perfect timing.

Cancelling the spellcard and dispelling the aftereffects thereon, Reisen shot forward before shooting a quick laser at the lunatic's hands to disarm him before returning the gaze into his eyes. With her eyes once again shining, the rabbit used one hand to knock off whatever remained of the now-shattered mask before letting her ability do it's work. With the hand that was not punching, Reisen quickly grabbed the man's chin and forced him to keep looking into her eyes.

It probably wouldn't take long to work out the madness, now that she could see the frantic wavelengths bouncing around inside of that brain of his. The strength of his body was faltering, so once she forced his brainwaves to stop firing all over the place he'd probably be either too tired to continue fighting or out cold. Either worked, honestly.

"...There. Not too hard, now was it?"

Sogiita Gunha

District 10

With a final leap, Gunha jumped over the last of the houses between himself and his destination before landing in a dramatically superhero-esque fashion, with his fist firmly impacting the ground (and leaving a small hole in the process) as he slowly looked up.

"...Yeah, no, that sorta entrance feels... Well, it's gutsy, yeah, but it ain't me," he sighed, shaking his head as he got up and brushed his clothes off. When observed from up close, the crater was definitely a bit larger than what he had expected, but that could probably be blamed on perspective. Granted, he also didn't expect a woman-kaiju hybrid that looked a good few feet taller than him given what he had seen on the ground, but he could forgive that partially because of two reasons.

First: the human/kaiju hybrid seemed to be perfectly fine following the impact, which meant that, as he had expected, she had guts to spare.
Second: There didn't seem to be anyone injured by the impact. Whether or not that was intentional didn't matter; causing a mess like that and not having any casualties was impressive, to say the least. Guts: yes.

"Oi! You alright there? Looked like a pretty nasty fall you took there!" he called out, walking forward to get a closer look. Even if she lashed out, Gunha was confident he could take a few hits if it came down to it. A fight, though...?

Well, that would definitely be a tossup. Tokusatsu and kaiju went hand in hand, but this wasn't exactly a television show...

@Lmpkio: Tomorrow. Almost 1AM here.
Reisen Udongein Inaba

Intersection of Districts 5, 6, and 12

Reisen paused her illusory assault as the madman pulled out a submachine gun and dispersed a good chunk of her clones, still fumbling a little as she grasped for whatever it was she was looking for. The bullets did little to faze him, it seemed... Which was to be expected, to be quite honest; even if they were only meant to damage, there was only so much she could do to a madman who had (in all likelihood) lost all sense of the word 'pain'. What confused her was the anachronism of the weapons that he held; a fantasy blade, a submachine gun, and now...

A magic book? What kind of nonsense--?!

"You're kidding..." the rabbit said through gritted teeth as she redirected her pistol at the disc of water rushing at her face and fired towards that instead. The magic collided with her attack and the two cancelled each other out, which Reisen was quite thankful for. But where was the--

"Oh! Geez, I'm such an idiot!"

She had been searching the wrong half of her suit this entire time. Of course.

Now fishing through the CORRECT location, Reisen pulled out a single card, which was now glimmering an eerie red as it shone in the sunlight. The color of the Lunarian's eyes, too, began to glow as she remained flying above head. After firing a beam of energy from her eyes to buy her a few moments, Reisen took a deep breath and shouted.

"'Illusion Wave "Red-Eyed Hypnosis'!"

Calling out the name of her attack, the card in Reisen's hand glowed brighter before disappearing. Immediately after, the rabbit shot a giant ring of bullets from her position before a giant pair of red eyes (an image of her own) appeared behind herself as an illusion, the initial ring of bullets seemingly phasing out of existence and splitting into two before the illusory eyes disappeared. She then proceeded to fire five more rings before doing the same with them, repeating the latter sequence over and over as bullets seemed to flood the skies, constantly distorting and multiplying even further every few seconds.

"Maybe if this knocks him out I can inject some sanity back into that head of his and figure out what the heck's going on..."

Sogiita Gunha

District 10

The sight of something plummeting through the sky caught Gunha's eyes as he continued to walk down the street, completely oblivious to the people quietly tailing him from a distance and murmuring about what he had just done (and, by extent, what sleeping bear he had poked by doing that). The impact of said something making as much of a shockwave as it did, though, caused pretty much everyone following behind him to run for the hills, almost as if an apocalypse was on the horizon.

Well, the esper couldn't really blame them for that, but as a heavy advocate for guts it was only natural to check out what had caused such an earthquake. Taking a deep breath and squatting a few times to warm up his legs, Gunha took a deep breath and launched himself into the sky to see what the cause of it all was.

His surprise when he saw the decent-szed crater in the ground with a rather large person lying in the middle of it was moderate enough, but was gone by the time he fell back down to the ground. Whoever it was, they seemed wounded, which warranted some degree of closer inspection. But by now, he had no room for the leisurely pace he was walking at; now, he was off running, jumping over houses as if they were no more than hurdles on a track.

"This is definitely something that I can't afford to overlook! Gotta have guts to survive a dive like that!"

@Lmpkio
@Kafka Komedy: I had actually said 5 or 6 waaaay back when, but I guess the three of those are close enough that we could say we're at the intersection of the three lol.
Gunha's in 10, and given what's been said in Astro's, I assume Dante's in... Well, somewhere in 23, I guess?

@AstroLu: Correct me if I'm wrong here.

But if this is the case, then they're both likely within walking distance if you drop Gojira somewhere in between.
@Lmpkio: Given the current location of everyone, maybe you could drop her near Gunha instead. He's also closer to Astro's character, if what I can tell from the description of the background is correct. It also doesn't rip the spotlight away by suddenly DRAMATIC DROP-IN.

>totally not saying this to get someone near him in the first place
@Kafka Komedy: Yes, the bullets do hurt. All of her attacks are nonlethal, though. Any clones that swing and make contact will poof on-hit.
Whoops, forgot to mention @Kafka Komedy there.

Get ready for mixups, mayhem, and a whole lotta insanity. :D

Also if anyone wants to either find Gunha or the thug haphazardly falling from the sky, feel free to do so.

"Disgusting? Devouring? You really are insane, aren't you?" Reisen sighed, taking a few steps back as the hooded figure drew his weapon and swing it at her from a distance. She had caught nary a glimpse of his eyes for a moment, and given how maddened he looked, fighting would be the only logical outcome.

"What a great way to start my day..." the rabbit complained, diving to the side as whatever projectile that emerged from the weapon flew by and carved a hole into a nearby wall. Reisen looked at the hole, then back to the madman, then at the hole again, then once more at the cloaked figure in dumbfounded wonder at how he got such a weapon before pulling her pistol out of its holster.

"I guess I have some obligation to get this guy to shut up before anything else gets damaged..." she muttered before firing a few magical bullets at her opponent before running forward at him. That one rabbit turned into three, which then turned into five and then into seven as she (and her illusionary clones) began to attack from all manner of directions: from above, to the sides, from the front, from behind, and a few in between. Of course, after a clone fired a few bullets or was hit, they faded into the air again, as if they didn't exist. To cause even more mayhem, a few of the doppelgangers came in to fight in melee range of the blade to try and fake the lunatic out.

The bullets certainly didn't fade, though.

The real Reisen was one of the ones in the air, one hand charging her pistol for a conical beam attack and the other reaching into her suit for something a bit more... Decisive.
