Yay my entire character needs to be reworked then. There can't be a courier if there's nowhere to take to.
Could you then explain how gods of death could work so I can try to salvage my reaper-esque one?
Ghosts and spirits still exist, so it's possible that a reaper god could focus on helping his/her worshipers escape death by having their souls form an ethereal shell, allowing them to stabilize and become a ghost/spirit.
Or alternatively, your deity could just have a lot of errors regarding the lore in religion. (mainly concerning the courier, and probably where your reaper-god lives and such)
What kind of system were you trying to make exactly?
Oh, very small update to the introductory post. Jeno has been imprisoned in the void for a little over 250 years. (I've added it in the OP now, under important events - The Traitor Deity)
@Smile Keep in mind there may be a few more changes that need to occur with your character (mostly regarding the deity), as there are one or two things I'd like to discuss with the Co-Gm.
Do the antlers of a Cherub Cervinae fall off like normal deer only to grow back again? Are the antlers tough and strong, or are they easily susceptible to damage? How long does it take for a Cherub's antlers to grow back? Are Cervinae resistant or weak to any form of magic, or physical attack? What about temperatures?
Cherub Cervinae's cannot reproduce because they are a pure race? Does this mean they are sterile? Or is it more of a traditional thing?
(If Cherub are not sterile) Can two Cherubs have children together? What would happen if a Cherub had a child with a non-cherub and broke tradition?
As a species, how strong is the average Cervinae compared to a human? What about the average Cherub Cervinae? How strong is Ocie compared to other Cherubs?
Is the species as a whole very small? Or are they all over the place in different parts of the world?
What is the average lifespan of a Cervinae?
Personality: How does Ocie personally feel about Jeno's banishment?
Spells/Abilities: Does Ocie have any special tricks when she uses her bow? (e.g. can she shoot out more than one arrow at a time? Or perhaps channel magic into her arrow or something of the sort?)
Ocie can revive plants, but can she also control them and/or make them more durable?
Fighting Style: So she has problems with extended battles then? How does she (normally) act if an enemy were to get close and personal?
Artifacts: Can one channel Arcane Magic into the "Cervoid's Bow"? Also you do realize that you'll need to get it recharged by the deity if it runs out of divine magic right? (This is more just clarification, as there may be a few times where you can not reach a deity and will have to fight without its full power)
How does the "Cervoid's Bow" compare to an average bow (without blessings/divine magic)? Is it stronger, or is it truly average?
Biography: What exactly is the forest like? (A brief summary or explanation will work just fine)
First off you put "diety", and not deity for the hider
Wouldn't the Cervinae know what Cervoid looked like, since they prayed to her and all? Were they just surprised to actually see her? Was her appearance off a little or something? Around how old is Cervoid?
Deities should already have a name before they were born. Praying randomly would not result in the creation of a deity. Instead many mortals must pray to one specific deity for a deity's birth to take place. However, a deity is allowed to change their name if they so wish.
Why did Cervoid take so long to return to Altreni and the herd? For most deities, it was pretty clear that Jeno was the one who instigated the fight. Did Cervoid believe Jeno may have been innocent? If so, does she still believe that?
Do any other groups worship Cervoid? Or is it only the Cervinae? Did any stop worshiping Cervoid after she banished the Cervinae from the forest? What about after the Jeno's banishment?
Second paragraph: "While the forest was dying and blood had been shed, the Cervinea were celebrating and praying to her. They were praying after so much time has past since she felt their last prayer." I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Please rephrase it.
Third Paragraph - Third Sentence: You referred to Cervoid as Vercoid.
Contradictions: In the special event - Cervoid's Cherub: It is stated that the Cervinae Overseer presents the young cherub(s) with the artifact "Cervoid's bow." But how does the Overseer obtain this artifact if Cervoid does not talk to the Cervinae?
Note to everyone: I'm not going to point out every mistake on a character sheet. I will only point out things that may be confusing to other players.
Still love the fact this rp is tagged as advanced casual.
Wonder what happened to the people from the interest check? I think some have shown up. But not all.
There were only two other people from the interest check, and they may have lost interest. Either that or they just haven't posted yet and are writing up a sheet. It's to early to tell really.
Depends, are you playing as a demigod? Or are you playing as a deity that already has some established demigods under him? If it's the former, then yes.
If it's the latter, you can just mention them briefly, along with whatever arcane magic they like to use. (Though I may ask you to create a second character sheet for them if they appear often enough.)
This is really interestin'! I do have a question, should the mortals worship a Deity of another player or can we make up our own? c:
Thank you for your interest ^^
You can either worship a made-up deity, or another player. (If you do decide to make up an NPC deity, I can reject it if I feel it doesn't work. Though, it probably won't be rejected unless it's something like "The deity of doorknobs" or something crazy like that.)
If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask. :)
