Kaito Chosokabe

Kaito stood at attention by the side of his mistress. His signature smirk was his mask this day, and occassional giggle let out. Today was going to be interesting. Today, today he was a shadow blade, much better than an open fight. He still was rather bitter about the whole ordeal, but the Amekage had still praised him. And he was a bit preoccupied about that weird man he'd met. Something about an business venture during the middle of an invasion? Definitely out the ordinary.

In truth, following the chaos, it had taken Kaito quite a while to return. He was surprised he was immediately put on guard duty with Sayuri, but also glad. He'd simply turned in a mission report and continued as normal. In return everyone around him continued like normal.

At least he had a Byakugan user WITH him this time. He had all things he had to learn from her. Mostly how to kill an arrogant prick. Also probably a silence jutsu so he wouldn't have to hear him at least. Oh well. It was insignificant. Today he'd prove his worth anyways. Kaito halfway wished negotiations would fail. Not that he would influence in the least. He was loyal, and today, he was the dagger kept in his leader's sleeve.

"Sayuri, what do you see? Hehehe. This guy, is he anyone from the reports?"

Ai Kabe

The last few weeks had been more than weird for Ai. She'd been living for the sake of living. She hadn't actually gone to the Jonin exams to become a Jonin. She'd done it to pass the time. Hell, she'd even quit when she'd gotten bored, but was still apparently skilled enough to have been named. It brought up all sorts of questions Ai had never asked. Was she that good? Kazue had always just been a spare to an heir. Ai had always been someone who lived day to day. Why did anyone think of her as strong?

Even more disturbing to Ai had been the Tsuchikage's appointment of her to his assistant. Of the whole village, her? She wasn't sure if she owed him yet ANOTHER favor, or if this had been a chance to repay them. Still, she worked uncharacteristically hard, if only out of confusion. She hadn't even talked with her sister following it. Ai had made it... Ayame hadn't? Ayame was the heir, she was strong, Ai knew she was strong. How hadn't she? Ayame was someone important to other people. Ai was just a ghost.

The Akatsuki attacking was honestly the only thing in recent history that had made sense. She moved the crowd into the tunnels, listening to Koma's orders over the radio.

"Roger. I'll continue the moving of civilians. Kyoka, you good on your end?"

Kaito Chosokabe

Kaito kept his thoughts to himself as he studied the man infront of him. He was obviously a very dangerous man. Making deals during the middle of a warzone? Obviously not a regular chunnin. Kaito doubted very much he was anywhere near a chunnin's skills, a thought that did cause a slight change in his face, but not a large one. As he went silent, Kaito finally smirked, his mind having finally come to its conclusion. His ego being stroked only hastened it.

"Such praise. I really must make it a regular thing then to injure the Hyuga. Now, the sorts of people you're looking for, why it sounds like you almost label me a scoundrel. Someone who's dirty, and would betray their master without second thought. I mean, if you knew my history, you would know that is...absolutely something I've done before. Do tell me more."

Kaito chuckled, his face alight. Behind him the hospital finally gave way, dust kicked up across the area. Kaito hid his face with his cloak as the dust finally overcame the area. Through the debris cloud he could hear the scramble of the survivors trying to get away. He wasn't sure why. Under the cloak, his face was grim, but fleeting. It was stupid now to run away. The building was gone. They wouldn't outrun the dust. Infact, NOW was the time they were needed at ground zero, but they kept running away. Kaito finally was able to lower his cloak. As his face was back, it looked alight again.

"Now, continue. What kind of activity do you have planned? You may or may not have my interest. It depends on what's worth my while. If its just for kicks and giggles, I'm not a cheap date."
Ai Kabe - Hidden Stone

Ai nodded to her comrades, and at her sisters orders. Even she had to take this fight seriously. Ai sighed, it was such a pain in the ass. She just wanted to make sure those she loved were safe, and travel the world. Fighting a ninja of ungodly strength who could probably trounce the most seasoned jonin in seconds? It was not high on her bucket list, which she didn't seem to have much time for. No... Ai would live. She'd gotten a second chance, and really her first shot at life, there was no way she was wasting it here. No way she'd let Aito, or Ayame fall either.

Taking to her position in the sky, Ai smiled at noting her sisters suggestion. The Stone ninja were all effective support, and could limit an enemies options, which meant them keeping their range was brilliant, though Ai itched to jump in there. They could just say no to most techniques. Ayame's barriers could section off the battlefield; Aito's ink seemed to make for good attacks, whatever she did; and Ai's speed and tags could easily chase down a target when the time came. It didn't take long for the man to force Ai into action either. His umbrella was sent into the sky. Ai shot chakra into her legs, and bolted at it, in her fastest body flicker her body would allow off of the bird. Slamming into the side of it, she slapped a tag on it, near tackling it: 清める (purify).

"Nope!"

Whatever technique Havoc was using was the source of the jutsu's power. It would send an object flying back proportionate to the amount of chakra in it. And looking at the now 2 km clearing.... this man seemed to have a lot of chakra. Ai slapped it downward at a 45 degree angle (ish), to send the umbrella into the ground far away from Havoc, and to literally knock the jutsu out of it.

Her mission done, Ai exploded into a thousand papers, returning to her position atop the bird, to wait for the next attempt by the man. Ai was currently glad for her decision to retrieve her tags. She only had really her body flickers and sticky fingers without them, her body remarkably low on chakra.

"Aito, thanks for the ride!"

Now she just needed the chance to get one of those tags onto Havoc... not that that would be an easy task in the least.

As the group arrived on a ink phoenix covered in a barrier, Ai gripped one of her tags, and nodded.

"I could say we're Jonin candidates, but to be honest, I don't really care. I now owe the Tsuchikage two favors. I want to repay them. These people are giving him trouble. I can at least repay one favor. The ninja rank really doesn't matter to me. We'll get by."

She smiled at the last part, while looking at the strange man with an umbrella. Dealing with people socially could wait til later. Right now they had one fight, one focus. Just take down the enemy. THAT Ai could work with.

"Well, what do we got? Sorry, Ayame, 2 years is such a long time, I don't know how much stronger you are. I'm a sealing specialist. I'm pretty fast, and like to plant tags on enemies. I have a few barriers, but they aren't exactly the strongest. Oh, and my chakra network is pretty much shot, if I'm out of seals, I'm out of a fight. Thankfully I've got quiet the arsenal. And, uh, Iwa-nin, I can see some ink based techniques."

Ai still watched as a.... fairy? charged the man with an umbrella. Ai cocked her head. It was interesting, and was like watching a train wreck, Ai just couldn't look away.

"Well... I guess we get to see what this man is capable of."

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain

@Yoshua171
Kaito smirked at his orders. Claiming the hospital as part of Ame? How cheeky. Leaving him in charge of it? Even moreso. And, of course, his blade was shadow, it was the perfect job for him. He didn't really have to worry about her, if she had the job he'd have one day, naturally she was untouchable. A voice sprang up behind Kaito, though he didn't turn to it. That would give the impression he was surprised, and why show a weakness. He did, however, close his eyes, in order to open his ears.

"And what exactly makes you think the warning still doesn't apply? I am a shadow, without form. A little injury really doesn't inconvenience me. I'll keep my injury, it's a pride to remember shattering a Hyuga's arm. Hehehe. It was really quiet fun, I'm going to have to make it a regular sport."

Kaito opened his eyes, and glanced at the hospital. It really was about the collapse, that much was true. Still nurses and a few patients were scrambling out. There were a few brave souls going back in for more.

"Idiots."

He finally turned to his new acquaintance.

"We're far enough away from the collapse. Unless you're not a fan of dust. Is there any particular reason you're out here? You don't seem to be exactly the social type. Sure, taunting a dragon when down seems in your character, but sadly, I am no dragon. I'd rather avoid an engagement either. "
Ai Kabe - Hidden Stone

Ai listened carefully to the Tsuchikage's gratitude at the peace they were enjoying. She supposed it was true. The Hokage also chipped in, though his words seemed a bit more absentminded. Still, the fact she got a response from either of the two rather than a swift boot was more than a little reassuring. Not that Ai had a hint of nervousness. Ai did what she wanted, and that was the end of it. She had no clan she was loyal to, and she WANTED to serve her village, so there was no one she was really compelled by.

Still, Ai's whimsical nature didn't mean she didn't care, and the next few seconds cemented it. The building exploded, and it was only by her Tsuchikage that she was saved. Looking outside the rock protection, she saw a chunnin brutally killed, and was immediately dizzy. Stumbling, she immediately jumped to orders. She didn't need a repeat of her actions. Ayame was someone she wanted to see anyways. Especially in this chaos. But Aito... but Ayame... but, but...Orders, right. Still, dizzily looking back, she stared at the Tsuchikage's eyes.

"Now I owe you two favors. Don't go kicking the bucket before I get to pay them back now!"

And Ai was gone in a flurry of papers. There was no time to dally more than that. It was a weird feeling, it felt like she was scattered into many different pieces. It had taken Ai a while to get used to the feeling, but now it felt like she was unbound. She wasn't a horrified chunnin in the middle of battle, she was paper, just paper.

Finding Ayame and Aito hadn't been too difficult, which was great as Ai didn't have the best chakra reserve at the best of time. She started to form together on the tail end of the bird. Before she even finished gathering she spoke.

"We're under attack! They just attacked the kages. Oh yeah, Tsuchikage said to stay away." Ai wthen rapped herself around Ayame, "Ayame! I'm so glad to see you're alright!" She then offered a hand to Aito from the hug. "I'm Ai Kabe, nice to meet you."

Before she could address the elephant in the room, Aito a sharknado appeared. Ai had seen a movie like it before, but seeing it as a ninja was terrifying. None of her jutsu could stop large area ninjutsu. Normally Ai just darted too fast to be hit with them. She yelled.

"Ayame, Aito! Shark at 12 o'clock."

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain

Kaito grimmaced at his leader's lesson. It was utterly embarrassing having her here with him. She should be celebrating his triumphs, not teaching him in defeat. Still, she was commanding enough to demand an answer. Biting his lip, he obliged.

"What I learned is to hit faster. Not being quick on my feet was my main problem. I should have commanded him to drop weapons and retreat, not to give up. Tch. Freakin' Hyu-"

And Sayuri was here too. Kaito flushed red (though he didn't refuse the dango), and wore a snarl, but he politely bowed before the two. Still, at least they'd come. Kaito was less mad at them(though being terrified of the Amekage, he couldn't be 'mad'), and more at himself. He took a deep breath.

"Well, trust me, I won't be embarrassing us again. A shadow really doesn't do well in the limelight I suppose, but I had to try it, just once. I'll earn the Jonin rank the old fashion way. And-"

Suddenly the room exploded. Kaito's life flashed before his eyes. In a rather quick motion, the Amekage protected him, and Sayuri had him out of bed. It looked like she'd grown two extra arms. It was a technique he'd never seen or heard of.

Interesting, so the Hidden Rain has hidden techniques too. I'll be sure to add to them.

As she asked him to forget what he saw, a grin flashed on his face despite the situation.

"What never happened? I just woke up after all."

Kaito still moved to the best of his abilities, dashing through the collapsing hospital. He snarled at the corpse of a nurse as they passed. It was hard to tell. Wasn't like he was particularly attached to morals, but attacking a hospital? There wasn't even a point in it other than cruelty, and that made for a poor reason. A ninja should be efficient. Whoever this was was inefficient. They picked up another ninja on their way out, Kaito was at least happy they were curt.

AS they made their way out, Kaito stopped to lean against a wall, Sayuri helping him to it. His lungs were on fire.

"Amekage, if I might be so bold, please take that ninja with you rather than me. I'm not too mobile at the moment. Still, genjutsu tends to work no matter the condition of the body. Of course, your wish is my command, but please let me stay. I have the oddest feeling you'll manage, milady."

He groaned a bit. Son of a .... Kaito was definitely regretting a few things right now. Kaito had just assumed pure skill would win out, and it was more worth his time to work on his jutsu than study obscure enemy jutsu on the offchance they had it. He really regretted it right now. He glanced at Sayuri.

"And, Sayuri, after this, fill me in on your eye."
Ai Kabe - Hidden Stone

Ai sat in the corner watching the various cameras. She held a plate of Dangos; she had found the snacks, though from how much she was talking they were hardly getting eaten.

"Wow. So this is this years candidates for Jonin? Not very good are they? I mean, not that I'm that good, but I just want to see interesting things. This is going to make me go to sleep.

Thing that gets me the most is the team formations. Its seems more dangerous to me to stick with a team with questionable objectives than it does to go at it solo. Betrayal is the norm here. I mean, yeah, you're stronger, but you could find you have no scroll at the end rather than one or two. That'll look worse at the end, right? I don't see Fire holding it together.

That, and all the ninja who are convinced this is all about fighting. I'd nail those with the lowest points off the bat, no matter how skilled they are, but that's just my two cents.

I dunno. What do you see in the match Lord Tsuchikage and Hokage? Are their any winners you can see out the gate?"

Despite the chatter, Ai watched one camera in particular. She couldn't help but be glued to it.

Come on Ayame, don't blow this... Please don't team up here...

Shaking her head, Ai tried to refocus. Ayame was a big girl, she'd be fine. Ai'd given her such a large advantage as well. She just hoped it didn't negatively affect the review. Ai was sure she was stealthy in giving away her scroll, but it was several kage watching. Looking at the camera with Ayame in it, she noted a new face approaching. Trouble? Looking at the familiar face, Ai's heart stopped. She recognized the girl. For a second she seemed uncharacteristically scared. She threw a glance back at the Tsuchikage, trembling.

"I-is that Aito? S-she's participating?"

There was a reason Ai's name was so similiar. She had sort of stolen it. Aito had always been a role model growing up. Her sister's best friend, a beautiful artist, who was strong, free, and, most of all, kind. That, and it was honestly entertaining watching her and Ayame fight, both with kunai and with words. Ai used to imagine getting praised by her. What now? It was a problem Ai hadn't thought of ever since she'd had her name remain MIA. Looking back at the screen, Ai just gentle slapped herself, whispering.

"Get over it, Ai. Kazue's dead. All the friends she knew are gone too... "

She turned to the Tsuchikage, a bubbly smile on her face once again.

"I'm sorry about that outburst Lord Tsuchikage. So, tell me, what do you think of the various chunnin?"

She finally shut up as she shoved several Dango into her mouth.

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain

Kaito slowly opened his eyes. His right hand was still clutching a kunai. He was so high on drugs he hardly felt a thing, and his head was more than a little dizzy. Regaining a sense of self, he started to put the room together. He was in a hospital bed, and that meant...

"DAMNIT!"

Kaito slammed the kunai into a table by him. It meant he'd lost to that Hyuga jackass. The self-righteous, frankly moronic, Hyuga. After all that speech of him stealing what he needed, here Kaito was, without enough. Clenching his teeth he swiped at blurry eyes.

"I'll show that egotistical maniac not to look down on me. Next time I see him, HE IS DEAD!"

It was about that time he noticed two things. A) Shouting with broken ribs was a terrible idea. B) The leader of the Hidden Rain was in his room, Yogensha.

Bowing even as a coughing fit took over, Kaito immediately felt regret. Hacking up a lung, he finally was able to get a breath.

"My lady, what brings you here? I'd rather see you at a victory party over seeing you ... here. How can I be of service? Apologies about that outburst. Afterall, if I'm ever going to take your job, I'd better be as perfect as you are."

Looking for something, anything to wipe the blood off his hands, he noticed a TV on in the room. It sounded like an announcer for the forest of death.

"My lady, where's Sayuri? One of us had better damn-da-ang well passed. Tch. I'm not going to excuse my match. Next person I fight I'm assuming won't have magically appearing wire up his sleeve. And if he does, I'll hang him by it. In any case, where is she?"

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain - Fighting Area vs Nousagi Hyuuga

As the proctor declared the match over, he looked a Kaito, his knife still out, still pointing at Nousagi. As Nousagi left with a little speech, he approached the boy.

"Match over, put down the kunai."

Still, the knife was pointed forward, at nothing in particular.

"Drop the knife kid."

And it held forward. Walking to the boy, the proctor waved his hand in front of his face. No reaction. He pressed down against the raised arm, but Kaito resisted.

"How!? He's out cold? I guess there's a definite winner then. I guess its up to me to tell the Hyuga kid."

After calling for a medic-nin, he ran into the backroom, finding the heir and the branch member.

"Well, it seems we have a winner. Chosokabe is out cold.
(OOC note: While might be pissed at fight, I respect a draw. Respect it enough to give you a win for it.)

Ai Kabe - Hidden Stone

Ai fumed as the beast disappeared.

"Raiju needed more a lesson. Whatever my rank, being a Miko as well as a ninja, it was my prerogative to teach him it!"

Ai squeaked a rock fell by her, reminding her of the situation. It was time to get out of there. Ai first gathered her tags on the Raijin that were left. Another rock fell by her, making her groan.

"Come on. Not like a little rocks going to stop me. I've got too many things to see! Like, I want to explore the forest! These tags are way too annoying to remake."

Finally grabbing the last one, she exploded into a blaze of papers, exiting the building and heading out with her team towards the forest of death. As they made it there, the storm of papers spoke, forming a mouth against the paper.

"Good job everyone. Couldn't have done it without you. I'm glad I had you all for this."

They finally made it to the instruction site. Listening to the broadcast, Ai nodded furiously. It seemed the next part was really just fighting. That was rather boring. Ai just wanted to explore the forest. Ai looked at the scroll and shrugged. She walked behind Ayame, putting her hand around her shoulder from behind. She lightly tapped her on the hip with the other.

"Well, I suppose those I should thank those Kouken barriers of yours. Hey, Ayame, I know you're older than me, but would you mind if I just shared a thought? If you make it to the exit quickly, you can catch a slow poke. Just get their fast as you can. I'm heading off. Man, I've been bossy today. And I'm the young one! Oh well, I'll buy ya dinner or something here. Really, I couldn't have done it without you. Now, time to enjoy myself."

With a smile, Ai gave the strangest movement of passing her fingers in a V over her eyes. In an explosion, she exploded into paper again. Ai was almost out of chakra, but she didn't want to give that impression to those around her. 'sides, she only had one more place she was going to.

Flying around, she headed towards a high point in the forest.

They must be watching over the exams. Short range communication, transmitted to a hill, best place to watch is at the source, near the center for best coverage of whole forest. First exam was fun, I'm glad I was able to meet Raiju and Raijin. Still want to slap Raiju. Oh well, I'm done.

She reappeared in the distance as a person, officially out of chakra. Making her way to a tower disguised as a tree, Ai opened the door. Yep, it was an observatory room. Looking around, Ai noticed the Hokage, Tsuchikage, and one other. She raised her hands, both completely empty.

"Hey, just here for the show. So this is where you were watching. Oh, don't worry, I'm not participating now. Donated my scroll to charity."

She flashed the Tsuchikage a friendly grin. He'd know who she was talking about.

"Won't even know I'm here. 'sides, I can help you with the radio next time. Also, are there snacks here?"

Without waiting for an answer, Ai walked to the back of the room, and plopped down against the wall, watching the monitors.

-----------
Wind Trial

As the wind group made it through the tracks, the jonin stopped attacking. True to their word, once they were out of the wind barrier, they didn't pursue, though they did continue shooting arcing vacuum spheres for a good mile out. Past that, they grew more and more sparse til they disappeared completely.

Making it to the obvious tracks, there were no sign of human involvement. It would take them a good hour of tracking to get to the end. IT would almost seem like the tracks went on forever until, finally, they made it to a clearing. Symbols covered the ground. As soon as the group moved to grab the scroll, they would activate, taking them straight to the announcement area.
Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain - Fighting Area vs Nousagi Hyuuga

Hit by the combination of techniques, Kaito rolled foward. It felt like he'd been hit by a truck. As his face grinded with the floor, he eyed his kunai. He writhed in pain, before figuring out pain only made the ribs hurt more. In Kaito's mind, only one question remained... How to proceed next?

Crawling away, Kaito screamed as he sat up, to hear the little speech. Somehow, that was the best part about it. Kaito laughed. His ribs scraped his chest, but he laughed, and laughed, and laughed, until blood came out. With a weak voice, he called out to his opponent.

"You dumbass! Of course I'm a thief and a coward, and I will steal greatness from the likes of you. I don't care how strong you are, or how strong I am, I'll steal it all. Trust me, its not 'free to claim', dumbass..."

He panted heavily from the stress of talking, but had more to say.

"I already stole your future. That, right there, is a shattered elbow. Probably pieces stuck in your muscles. Your bone naturally makes it so it doesn't, oh I don't know, bend 60-90 degrees in the wrong direction. How much surgery until it can even start to recover? Be thankful medical jutsu exists."

Kaito fell into a coughing fit, laughs interupting each cough. It took him a bit to recover. He finally noted the blood from Nousagi's left arm. That was even funnier.

"One last thing. You have two useless arms. Immense pain, just like me. Shock is inevitable for both of us. If victory is yours... come and claim it."

From the sitting position, Kaito held his knife out at Nousagi. Despite literally being on the ground, pained in every breath, fighting a ninja whose taijutsu exceeded his, who's ninjutsu a worst rivaled his, who was outright immune to every illusion Kaito had thrown, Kaito had never stood taller. His pride was intact regardless. The words of a dumbass weren't going to phase him. The loss of a match? Inconsequential. The steel look in his eyes said he was completely and utterly serious. The world span, but Kaito held on to reality with everything he had.

------------------------------------
Ai Kabe - Hidden Stone

Ai watched in amazement and anger as Raijin appeared.

"You're no Buddha."

She noted the burning of one of her tags, and sighed. This thing wasn't going to be easy, was it? Still, the scroll was right there. Everyone could grab it and pass. Ai, however, had other priorities for herself. Hikaru and Renji also had noted they were bad against lightning. Ayame was more defensive, and Ai'd rather she'd hurry and pass to get jonin.

"Guys, I got the mad dog, just go get the scroll and get out of here. Imma teach him not to impersonate Buddha. Hikaru, could you get the scroll? You're probably faster than Ayame. Renji, could you watch Hikaru's back? Ayame, can you help get everyone out? Sorry been so bossy. I'll see you outside."

With that, Ai ran at Ayame's barrier, and grabbed the top, and vaulted herself over. Grabbing a barrier tag, she pressed it against her palm, activating a makeshift shield her hand. Quickly gathering chakra in her legs, she built up to a body flicker. She kicked off against Ayame's barrier. With impressive speed, even among Jonin candidate standards, Ai flickered at the dog, to hit it square in the face with a barrier shield, and give it the words it really needed to hear.

"Bad dog!"

--------------

Wind trial

As the wind team chose the hidden path of the two, as they got closer and closer, the sharingan users would be able to see the chakra divide more and more as it rose into the sky, until they could get an accurate count of chakra streaming upwards. Twenty different users were behind casting the tornado, all wind users. As they got closer, one light flickered out. A proctor approached them, scratching the back of his head. He held up a white flag for a second.

"Parley! I'm the main proctor here, hear me out. Just real quick. I really kinda do want to know what your plan is? I mean, I thought we obscured those tracks out there pretty well. If you found us through any other means, you must have been able to count. So..."

He dropped the flag, grabbing a kunai. All around him, the whole congregation of ninja gathered, each with their hands to signs. In the distance, the tornado died out.

He rubbed his head again.

"I'm having to act on the fly here. I really did not expect anyone to try this. Well, if this were a combat field, and you stumbled into, say, 20 enemy ninja, the results wouldn't be good. I don't think they should be here either.
Mizu, Toru, Genji, remember Edo? Do that.
Now, you four, the way I see it, you now have an added trial. Escape through a barrier with 17 ninja firing Vaccuum spheres at you, and reconsider where it went wrong, find the scroll. We really don't plan on leaving the area. Geez, the Hokage said, 'find the scroll'. Wasn't exactly rocket science. Your other option is to surrender and the 20 of us don't beat the ever living crap out of you. Well, begin."

17 ninja would start firing Vacuum Spheres at the lot. The upside is they were a little bit tired from maintaining a tornado for so long, so it was like... 9 jonin were trying to constantly bombard them with the technique rather than the full 17, so there was more of a chance.

In the distance, wind began to blow, creating a circular wall of wind around the area. It glowed green as it passed in a circle, and wasn't completely opaque. It would spin anyone around trying to pass it with its rotation, but was completely physical. It wasn't the sturdiest thing in the world from how large it was, but with 17 people shooting at you, the task would seem much more daunting.

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Rain - Fighting Area vs Nousagi Hyuuga

Kaito's face showed absolute fear as soon as the Hyuga boy's contorted in pain. Kaito moved quickly. He wasn't going to lose this, he wasn't going to lose this! Even before the blood dripped, or the spindle dropped, Kaito moved. During the contort of pain, Kaito's hands pulled. Kaito was no idiot. The moment the Hyuga recovered, Kaito was dead. There was no way he was going to let that happen.

With one twist, Kaito placed himself to the right of Nousagi's arm, towards his back to make it harder for the Hyuga to counterattack as his own body would be in the way of piercing Kaito. The twist continued, placing his arm on Kaito's shoulder.... elbow down. The twist continued, with one fluid movement becoming a shoulder throw. It was also a shoulder throw likely to shatter its recipient's elbow, as it threw the entire body against the elbow. It would also throw them violently to the floor.

Taijutsu wasn't Kaito's forte, but it wasn't like he was specifically weak at it. He was holding his opponents arm after all.

Regardless of any damage done, Kaito quickly jumped back, kicking up his kunai as he did so, and grabbing it out the air. A killing intent filled the air again. It wasn't enough to stun or an attack, just a warning. Kaito was in a bad mood.

"I'm not going to tell you to surrender now. I'm either going to kill you, or force the proctor to call me off you. Losing is not an option. You were born with greatness. I stole mine from fate."
