Rockmar lifted the little girl up and held her at his height. "Lass, we are going to find your father and brothers. But first, tell me, what is your name?" Rockmar scanned the crowd looking for the tiny Wimena. He wanted to make sure she was alright before they left.

He smiled at Eve. He liked watching take charge of the children and others of the company. He was impressed by her taking charge of things. Somebody had to. Rockmar was a simple soldier for hire. He felt better when following a leader. Having a pretty leader was an added bonus.

EDIT (forgot) "Cedric, let us stay together. We will go find the Lasses family, then send word to the ship. Sound good?"

To The Edge of the World...

Rockmar had slept near the hall's doors. He slept on a fir with his waraxe next to him. He woke up, stretched and yawned loudly. He reached down and 'adjusted' himself. Only after the fact did he remember he was in a hall full of people. He hoped nobody noticed. Rockmar saw Eve struggling with the little girl. "I will go with you. But you must wait, Lass. Give us a minute to gather our weapons and wits."

Rockmar wished they had time to eat before leaving, but he could eat later.

To The Edge of the World...

Rockmar nods to Eve in agreement. "Yeah, sleep would be good. I am not sure how well I will be able to sleep. All keyed up for fight then no fight. Maybe a mug full of ale will calm me down." He searched for the barrel of ale and a mug.

Once he had a full mug he sat by the Constable and asked, "Do you have a priest or holy person in the village? If it's a demon, can the holy man bless our weapons or maybe give us something to help fight it?"

Rockmar was beginning to calm down. His orc blood wasn't stirring him up so much. Now that he knows the beast isn't busting through the doors at any minute. He smiled when he heard the bard's music. But it wasn't battle music. No, it was sleepy time music. Maybe that too is what helped Rockmar relax and not fly into a battle rage. Still, he was restless and couldn't down. He would pace the room, then stop, then pace. He stood next to Eve. "You did good with your charms. Sea wr...I mean, Miss. I also saw you playing with the children. You're very nice."

As Tarquin moved throughout the hall, even the residents of Avery's Isle seemed to take heart. And as he searched for weaknesses in the building, he would notice a child kneeling in a shadowed spot with her face against the wall as if she were peering through a hole.

Oh..peering through a hole. I totally misread that. I didn't see the "r" in peering. *blush* that changes things....

Rockmar growled when the battle music stopped. He looked at the bard. But he heard the little girl's words. Rockmar walked over towards the pair. He asked Tarquin, "You, ask little girl if her father knows how to fight the beast, if she knows trick to kill it. Then you play battle music more. yes yes.. more music."

Rockmar has been raised by humans and never been to an orc encampment, but still, preparing for battle causes his orc blood to boil. He hears the orc blood pumping through his veins and pounding in he head.

Sundos was enjoying the interacts with Lob, Sona and Seph. He opened everybody from the Company would become friends. At Kyra's call to action, Sundos excused himself from the small group and retrieved his shield from his warhorse. He should be mounted for the combat, but truth be told, he fought better on foot then he did from horseback. He returned to the two ladies.

"Sisters, Brother Cremwise, let the four of us stay together. I'll be your shieldman. If danger is thrown our way, don't fear to hide behind me and my shield." Sundos was nervous but excited at the same time. "Fear not the dark, dawn shall arrive soon."
