@Kenaron I won't really reserve spaces, mostly because people change their minds so much that as a GM I don't want to count eggs (players) before they hatch (actually commit with a CS and intro post). I've seen plenty voice interest and change their minds between the Interest Check and IC, which is fine but all I need to see is motivated migration to the OOC. :) But also I don't see this becoming a large RP in terms of it filling up beyond the size I intend to oversee. In terms of spells, I'm leaving that up to the player to use with common sense (nothing obscure or overpowered). If they want runes or spell books or whatever, it just needs to be balanced.

@Romero Agreed, it'll be tough for the characters but I am hoping it doesn't drag them down for too long!

@Run9 Valid? You mean still in the works? Yes, I plan on getting an OOC up by tonight.

@GingerBaron I would say other races would be acceptable, depending on what they are. Like elves, dwarves, maybe faeries would be okay but nothing obscure or 'meant to be super special' you know? What matters most to me is the character's morals, their species is secondary to me.

A summer class may be fun, depending if it's not too stressful. Some schools offer more classes in the summer for certain struggling students who need extra help so maybe you can find something different.

As someone who is juggling a few novels, now is always a good time to start writing or planning it. Jumping in is scary but very thrilling.

I haven't run into any bad animations. I think those remarks happened due to one particular cut scene but so far I've enjoyed it, it gives me the Star Trek vibes I want, plus it fills the void I have for Dragon Age. I wouldn't let some animation bugs get you down though, I think that stuff is likely patch-able.

Oh yes we did have a Cherry Blossom themed RP in the works with world hopping if I recall. The trees have been so pretty around where I live. :3 I wouldn't mind that, or anything really. We've been in development talks for eons. XD
