@QueenNugget I have decided to open it to 4 others, so I'm looking for 2 males and 2 females. It won't be first come first serve, it will just be based on how their character is presented so feel free to submit something!

| Kanda International University |
Our beginning setting will take place in the fictional university. Kanda International is well regarded as the top 9th international school globally. So it's one the best, but not the best. All students will be required to have an intermediate understanding of English as it spoken throughout campus. First years are housed on campus in dorms, encouraging those to mingle with their peers. From their second year, students are encouraged to have a level of independence and will be tasked with finding housing outside the institution. Students are also encouraged to get part-time jobs once in their third and fourth years, though they give exceptions to some second years, depending on the financial situation.
Speaking of finances, it is costly to attend KIU so many who attend come from some form of wealth but there are some who get by through loans and grants. Scholarships are not given out or accepted. Students can work on campus or off campus though most pay their way through their families, rather than foot the bill or even part of it, themselves. KIU offers small class sizes as well as cutting edge technology integrated into the campus and classrooms.
Right outside the school gates is the Kanda Station, a bustling train station that offers several shops and cafes to people coming and going. Kanda Station is beside the Kanda River and many commuters enjoy the nature that surrounds them among the contrast of the grey high rise buildings. From the station, one can go deeper into the heart of Tokyo and find many things to do.

| Character Creation |
Guidelines | Your characters will be in their fourth, third or second year at Kanda International University. They will in turn be 19-21 years old, depending on their year. Characters are encouraged to come from any background, provided their relocation to Tokyo, Japan is reasonable and realistic. Characters should be sociable and able to maintain healthy friendship. Characters who have a lot of emotional baggage or issues with making friends will not be accepted. This RP is meant to be light and lively. Lastly, you'll need an anime appearance within your CS, it cannot be hand-drawn or in black and white, it must be something we can easily look to and refer back in regards to your character's general appearance.
Once you submit your CS, I will review it and then give you the approval to post it in the other tab. Thank you!

Notes | So this OOC is a work in progress. I'll be adding to it over the next day or two. Feel free to ask questions or submit CS here in the meantime. I haven't GMed for a group in a while, much less back on the Guild so please be patient! Thanks guys.
Likely a girl from an English speaking country - maybe she's Japanese by heritage and that's why she was enthusiastic about studying in Japan. If you tell us a little more about the school and about where they live, I'll make her.
Alright, I can give some brief info right now. So the school is international but does require a good grasp of English as it will be the spoken language on-campus with other languages being optional courses to take. Students in the first year would live on campus so characters would need to be 19+ up so they'd be at least second years, living off-campus in an apartment of their choosing, hence the need to commute on the train. Does that clarify things a bit?
Ill have something more well thought out when I next get on a computer. Im not even sure about gender.
Fair enough! I can always throw together a CS for folks to fill out as they mull things over. I just want to make sure we don't have duplicate characters or too similar of characters in the group and that they're sociable.
I would definitely be interested in a Ghibli vibe RP.
Awesome! It'll have that light, open, fluffy vibe I'm hoping. Any thoughts on what character you might want to play as? Since it's international, they can be from anywhere or somewhere local.
I would appreciate this ^^.

The morning trains were always crowded and full of noise. People talking to one another, music leaking from cheap headphones, the conductor announcing each station despite the occupants being mostly locals (not tourists), as well as the clacking of train tracks. Thankfully as the Kanda Station approached, most people were already off the train and sitting in their high rise offices that overlooked Tokyo. Many of the remaining occupants were university students. Sometimes their eyes would meet one another but often, they were in their own little world, consumed by books or cell phones (okay mostly cell phones and handheld video games). This routine continued for months as a small group of students would get on the same line, in the same car every day.
Until one day someone spoke up and decided it was better to at least introduce themselves than just be a blip without a name. So the group decided to spend time outside of the car, on campus hanging out. They came from different walks of life. One was from London, another from New York City, and a few were Japanese but still interested in the international school's famed reputation. Soon one of the teachers mentioned in class, about a mystical train that can take anyone, anywhere they'd like to go. This rumor easily entices the group and they decide to research it.
After some time, they decide to take the train to the end of the line, believing their usual train could be the fabled, mythical route out of their humdrum lives. So they each pack a bag and meet after school on a misty spring day. The train doors close and everyone looks outside, waiting and watching. The cityscape begins to fade and soon new scenes begin to emerge. Green lush hills, creatures they do not recognize. They have done it, they've found the train. But how? Which station will they get off? Can they return home? Will they want to? And where does the train stop and turn around?

So a very charming, sweet, slice of life, modern day fantasy RP is what I have in mind. Think of Ghibli or Shinkai. Ideally this would be a very small group of 2-3 more people. I'd like people who can post casually. I'm not looking for something super fast paced, we all have lives. I would like people who can post 4 paragraphs on average so I'd rather wait to get a good post than a rushed one. Romance is encouraged but keep it PG. Characters will range from 19 to 21 and more setting info can be given in an OOC if I get enough interest. Thanks for reading ya'll. Also this can be on discord or here, whichever the majority is comfortable with.
