Current Sometimes it doesn’t matter too much what choice you make, as long as you make it quick and stick to it.

You should laugh every moment you live, for you'll find it decidedly difficult afterwards.

Bio

Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...

The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.

I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.

I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.

I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

If there is anything else you need to ask, feel free too. I swear I don't bite... much.

Jonathon smiled and accepted the young ladies hand, taking it in his he lifted it up to his lips and kissed the top softly, letting his eyes lance up for the briefest of moments as he did so. Releasing her hand he gave a nod to the other sister who had noticed, seemed utterly disinterested. Perhaps she would be more Oliver's speed? They both seemed stuck up ever so slightly. Turning to the barman Jonathon didn't even have to think about his drink.

"Get me a Macallan neat, single drop of spring water. And for my lovely lady here..." Jonathon stopped and turned, looking Lorelei over once with a charming smile. "I am going to go out on a limb here and say you are not a big drinker? Which is fine of course, I think you should start off slowly though. How about..." Turning back to the barman Jonathon ordered. "...one Sex on the Beach for the beautiful Lorelei here. Don't go overboard with the vodka though. Good man." Jonathon smiled and tipped the barman as his brother had done. He didn't know if it was impressive but he liked the feeling of it. Picking up the glasses he held his own in his left hand and offered the cocktail to Lorelei. Whilst the sister, Ada, hadn't taken to him. He was certain Lorelei must of and mused as to her background. Were they Duchesses? Countesses? Or just those who knew the right people? All he knew is that tey had perked up his evening quite some.

[color=Blue]"My name is Jonny. I see you are here with your sister, I happened to come with my brother. he is the one over there with the glasses. Yeah, the one all alone."[/color Jonathon was pointing at Oliver now, just as Oliver turned around.

"Damn stupid, JJ." Oliver muttered as he picked up his own drink, just another champagne, and sauntered over to the group. "I apologise immediately for my brother. He seems to think that he has a right to talk with everyone here, even without knowing them. I can promise I am slightly more the gentleman."

"Actually Ollie, I was just telling the beautiful Lorelei here about you."

"And the young lady who obviously wishes you would strike out and return to your own business? I assume she is not quite as infatuated with you, JJ?" Jonathon's eyes closed up as he scowled at his brother. He hated being called JJ in front of people. Reaching down Jonathon took Lorelei's hand and led her, gently, off to another part of the bar, but still in sight of Oliver and Ada.

"Sorry about him, he doesn't know how to have any fun at these parties. I thought he might relax by now, however he seems to have only got more up tight." Meanwhile Oliver had started addressing Ada.

"I'm very sorry Miss, Ada was it? My younger brother doesn't quite know when he is encroaching and so gets carried away."
@Twhirtley Damn...forgot US is 21 drinking age...it's only 18 in Britain :L
@Ammokkx Discussion is fine, just always remember to keep it friendly and, at the end of it all, I have the final say in everything :)
Rask watched as Wretha worked, he knew a few spells himself but would never call himself a trained mage. However what he had just seen was clever, inventive and utterly disgusting. Already he could there was trails of people storming back up stairs. Clearly they hadn't expected this kind of treatment for try outs. Clapping Rask realised he was the only one doing so in the room and he nodded slightly at the elf as she sat down. She certainly was staying. Standing again he looked around at the men and women who had stayed. The smell of bodily fluids was acidic in Rask's nostrils but he put it out of his mind, there would be worse and better on the road.

"This is what you can expect. There will be filth and it will not be pleasant. I am glad to see the wannabe heroes leave, now I am left with you true fighters. Pair up, Wretha has already fought and so she has passed. The other...ten odd...of you will fight one at a time. I don't care about the order. And the filth stays in the ring for the fights, out in the real world you will be slipping on mud and snow. Vomit and shit will only mimic that." Sitting back down Rask pulled out the coin from his pocket and threw it to Wretha. He leant in again, realising now he was the only one coming near her.

"Take a look at this, you know the old tongue, do you know what it means?" Rask wanted to see how much this girl had studied. He of course knew it was the Chant of the Dead. A short verse that was supposed to send dead spirits on their way. The Gothi believed that only one man had this chant inscribed on his treasure. I warlord by the name of Mesticaccus. Supposedly the man hid his spoils in a large complex within the snowy mountains just on the border between Gothi and Civitas. It was Rask's first desire to find this treasure. And this gold was from their first port of call.
@Crazy Doctor You can but each extra opponent will batter you shitless slightly more. One allows you to show off with relatively few scars, two and you are gonna have some nasty bruises and cuts as well as some aches. Three and you are looking at a possible broken bones etc. and losing. You are not an expert remember. You are okay but nothing special, just better than the shit that turned up. We can become special over time :)

Edit: In regards to bow technique you are not going to be able to properly fire 3 at once, again, we are avarage. You are an okay shot with one arrow who has some potential, you are no Bow Master. Same with swords and whatever.
@LordZell I don't really mind. It's up to you and which you would prefer to be. Probably more likely to leave the Vale with the same family however if you would prefer to create a new house then I dont mind.
@LHG100 Happy to do so, just a quick question...ermmm are we getting an update??? I wanna know what was found on my little exploration...otherwise my post will simply be me explaining how the station is coming along, how the fleet is growing slightly and how the population is being encouraged to boom :L
Sounds good, PM me what you have for the lord/house and we can discuss the relationship between the two houses.

House History: House Trelliss used to rule the Vale, ever since the conquests of Aegon, up until House Targaryens demise. House Trelliss begun by marrying heavily into branches of the Royal House, picking up the cousins and nephews of the Kings and Queens that passed. House Trelliss grew and became powerful through this and the Vale saw a great deal of growth thanks to the favourable terms bestowed by their close ties to the Iron Throne. However, when Michael Trelliss came to the head of the Trelliss house, he wanted more than just favour. Through political maneuverings he begun to eliminate the most trusted advisors of the Targaryens, some ended up in jail and others ended up exiled, but not ended up dead. Next the sprawling family tree of House Trelliss took up these positions of power until King Aerys the Mad had only the council of his own family, and House Trelliss to listen too. The Trelliss', under orders from the head of the family, begun to deceive Aerys. He was tricked into heavy handed use of the goldcoats and poor treatment of the other Great Families. Stories of rebellion and betrayel filled the king's ears until he made a fatal mistake. Executing (Enter another great house here) for treason gave House Trelliss their excuse to attack. With pull on the goldcloaks, and their own men, House Trelliss arrested and seized all of House Targaryen in one night, known as the Night of Dragon Slaying. Many of the young and women of the House died in 'accidents' or were 'lost'. However all of the men of age were put on trial. Each man was tried and convicted of crimes against Westeros, and each man was executed. Since then House Trellis has been growing and trying to cement its power. Whilst very few know the true extent to which House Trelliss went too to bring about their power, many have thoughts that House Trelliss is not the law abiding House they portray themselves at.
