Fighting politically, sorry/
Is anyone else having trouble with the site, or is it just me?

This looks good. Accepted!

As an aside, you mentioned Vrelan fighting against other provinces. Is this something that happens a lot?

Its slow and laggy for me at time, but it still works. As for the Province, Vrenal used to be an independent Kingdom, and has since been conquered by the greater Realm it is now part of. They focus most of their military to fighting across the mountains. They haven't attacked other Provinces since, though there have been threats when food shipments are delayed.
@ArisenMoon

our characters are more than likely not going to get along lol

Which is a good thing for an RP. :D

Agreed, to both.

Apart from the ones controlled and guarded by the Laurensi?

Well, I say 'guarded' but most of the time the Laurensi guards are too busy trying to sell anyone passing through souvenirs and new equipment rather than actually checking if they should be allowed through.

Most likely, and Vrenal actually launches raids across the mountain to attack the savages, breaking up any large gathering before they can gather into a true threat.
Hey...you guys open for new people?

Does the province hold strategic value, or are the population just holding the worthless ground for the sake of tradition?

He is a old school kind of thinker, and will have to deal with a huge learning curve in the days to come.

Vrenal controls most of the passes through the mountains, and numerous forts to keep the savages on the otherside at bay. Tradition does play a part in it as well though.

Gonna try and throw my name into this mix.
Interested if still open.
