Fukusho listened to his sensei's little speech about their schedule. Even though Fukusho wanted to get together with his teammates he felt like giving pop the major control on his training sessions was helping him so far. Right now he had to work on his accuracy, chakra control, and strength. He flt like he was decent at all of those areas but far from mastering any one of them. Then his ninjutsu arsenal could use some work because there was no way he could beat Sensei's shadow octopus thingie. Something made Fukusho think that Sensei had that kind of move by the time he took the Chunin exams. Well that may or may not be true but it would be cool information to find out. "Hey Akiihiko-sensei were you able to use that shadow octopus thing when you took the chunin exams?" Fukusho asked his teacher completely off topic.
Ren looked on as his Pyrex charged into the Totodile. However it appeared as if the pokemon was not that weak. Unlike the wild pokemon in the area it did not go down after one strike. Pyrex had no knowledge what was coming next but Ren could surly see it coming a mile away. Using a water attack the blue reptilian shot a jet of water right at Char. His pokemon was powerful but it could not survive another one of those kind of attacks. "Return Char." Ren commanded as he held up his pokeball and his pokemon was beamed back in. "You did great Char." He whispered to his pokeball. Sure it was a bad idea to battle a water type but Ren was confident that Char would learn from this experience. Next time it would destroy that Totodile. "Hey that was a great battle, but I have to to bring my pokemon to the pokemon center. I guess I'll see you later" He told Blue as he wandered towards the city.
@MissFortune
Think of it more in the sense when you find a level 5 butterfree in the wild. One cannot evolve their metapod until level 10 but it is possible to catch wild pokemon at a lower level.
"Cool Blue my name is Ren nice to meet you. Oh and this is my pokemon. " Ren grabbed a red and white ball from his belt and threw it out in front of him. From the light his Pyrex made an appearance. "This is Char." Ren said as he looked at the situation. This was Char's first trainer battle but he had confidence in his pokemon even though it was at disadvantage. Well since he was fighting a water type then it would not matter if he had any fire attacks because he could not use them. Ren quickly ran back in order to give the pokemon enough space to have a proper field of battle.

"Char are you ready. "
"Rex."
"Good now charge in there for a Tackle attack." He ordered as his pokemon charged forward towards the Totodile with its head first. It gave a soft growl at it charged forward.

Liepard is the evolved form of Purloin at like level 20.....

Yeah...

Should we mention Falkner's Pidgeotto.

I call BS there is no way that ralts single handedly took down a liepard...

Edit: Also Ralts can't tackle anything... and I doubt it would take a ton of damage hitting its head against a tree... (anime logic some pokemon get thrown through rocks and still get up)

If I were to risk the L-word then a level 1 Liepad could easily lose to a much higher level Ralts. Oh and if he were too inexperienced to know his pokemon can't tackle then its tackle could be a form of struggle.

honestly I am fine by it, because in the end, with the removing of levels, you can get a magikarp to basically Ash's (end of series) pikachu and thats op

I think it would be funny to see someones team get rekt by Ash's Pikachu.
<Snipped quote by Sho Minazuki>

I can go with this, but I also like miss fortunes Idea, because personaly i find it fun writing up encounters, personally

but thats just my taste

So what you are saying is that you would be okay with us choosing the pokemon we encounter?
@Savo

Thanks dear, it's my first year on my own and its very hard trying to manage a job and school! So stressful! :(

@GrandzHelios

Because it seems like most people are for it, I am only against it because of my circumstances.

Everyone likes it because they do not have a reason to not like it. You getting left behind is a good reason I think.
@GrandzHelios@AbysmalDemon

Because I have a reason, I don't have time.

I am trying to balance a Full-Time College Schedule until 4:00PM, and a Job where I work from 5:00-9:00 everyday.

With that schedule being implemented in less then 15 days when I start Fall semester, I would only be able to post about once a day; maybe once in two days depending on how much homework I get.

I don't wanna waste my one post a day with meaningless random rolled encounters, talking about how I didn't get it; and I am not guaranteed to get the Pokemon I want the next roll that I do either, or the next one, or the next one, or the next one.

Then my one post a day for a whole week would be 7 encounters with 7 different Pokemon, all not the one I am looking for. Meanwhile, everyone else has done so much meaningful things in their several posts a day.

Imagine if I only posted once every two days, each one about me not finding the pokemon I wanted. In a few days, everyone has gotten further in the story.

People are beating team Nexus? I am still trying to find a Pokemon. Everyone gets Jirachi wishes? I'm still trying to find a Pokemon. Someone beats a gym leader? I am still trying to find a Pokemon.

Make sense?

I'm not really against you but I'm merely trying to suggest a compromise. If its so time consuming then why does no one suggest taking it off the board all together.
