Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

Currently thinking a kingdom building plot. My MC is the son of a noble and at first, he just wants to take it easy and live a life of luxury. Until a monster attack ends up killing his parents, forcing him to step up and rule the territory.

One of his harem would be his fiancee. She is a sickly and lazy girl. Weak since birth, she spends most of her time in her room, sleeping or reading fantasy rooms. Her illness sours her disposition, making her apathetic to everything. She has no dreams or desires. She just lives day by day, waiting until the day her illness claims her.
So, when her father, who despises her for being a NEET, gives her away to be MC's fiancee, she doesn't even bother to pretend to be a proper lady, openly declaring that she doesn't like him and she doesn't want to do any work. And if he wants to have sex, he's the one who has to do all the work. And any kids they will have, she won't raise them.
However, MC, who's also lazy, agrees with her lifestyle. The two ends up spending her visiting days in his room, reading fantasy books and playing board games. For the first time, she has a true friend, and that was enough for her to actually be willing to be his wife.
The truth is, her illness comes from her body producing too much mana. She has the potential to be a powerful sorceress.
When MC's territory gets destroyed by monsters, she quickly comes to his side. Sleeping together every day, she helps him go through the death of his parents. And she gives advice on how to run his territory as well, thanks to her books having stories of young lords managing their territories.

The duo arrived at the lobby not long after Leon. After saying their greetings, Leon brought up the fact that the map Lana had was most likely outdated, owing to the growth of the city.

"Well, that's not good…" Lanus scratched his temple. "Without a complete map, the chance of us getting lost will increase tenfold."

"We can mitigate it by leaving down markers on the path we have taken." Renee folded her arms under her chest. "But still, this may mean we'll have to spend more than a day down there."

"Thankfully, we've brought with us a tent." Lanus smiled. "Along with some supplies. We can share the supplies but not the tent. After all, it won't do for you to intrude upon our lovemaking after all." He smirked, earning an embarrassed glare from Renee.

"Now now it's extremely rude to ask for a woman's real age, you know." Lanus replied to his question. "In my eyes, all beauties in the world are eternally seventeen years old. And yes, that includes you too, my dear." He smiled towards Renee.

"Hmph, I prefer if you see me as a more mature woman." Renee huffed. "I'm not the same girl that you rescued all those years ago."

"I know you're not. After all, these days, you want to make love with me almost every night. Unlike your old self, who was all shy about what she secretly wanted." He grinned.

"Idiot!" Renee blushed. "There's no need to say that in front of him!" She pointed at Leon.

When Leon declared that he would just stalk them away from their sight, Lanus laughed. "No need to do that, friend." He patted him on the shoulder. "You're now our partner so we should work together."
Interested in rping an isekai story with harem. I can either rp the male lead or the females. If I play the male lead, I'll be the one doing the plotting and controlling NPCs and all that. But if I play the girls, you'll be the one doing it.

As for the plot, it's either a revenge story, a second life reborn story, or a territory management story. Oh, and I guess monster evolution story is fine too.

Would have lots of ecchi.

The two feys didn't sense Leon's presence until he coughed, being busy talking with Lana and all.

"Oh, you're joining us, Sir Leon?" Renee spoke. "Your help would certainly be appreciated."

"I doubt we would need your help though." Lanus chimed in with a smug smile on his face. "After all, it's just a simple finding lost kids mission." Secretly, Lanus preferred there wouldn't be another guy tagging along with them. Now, he wasn't the jealous type, not in the slightest, but that didn't mean he wouldn't prefer being alone with his cute girlfriend. "But, I suppose the more the merrier."

Once Leon left, the couple also declared that they would need to prepare. Half an hour later, the two were ready, and Leon would've gotten the message, with Lanus ordering a servant to send a message that they would be waiting for him at the lobby of the Tower.

Lanus suddenly kissing Rana’s hand gave her a surprise; her expression twisted into one of exasperation as she blushed. ”My, quite bold aren’t we? Here’s hoping we work well together...” She said in an annoyed tone, quickly pulling her hand away from the flirtatious Fae.

"Of course we shall work well together, Milady," Lanus replied with his flirtatious smile. Before Renee slammed her left foot onto his right, earning a pained yelp from the fey.

The discussion then moved into the requests that Rana was supposed to handle. There were three of them and the two feys were given the option to take them, if they so choose. After all, the requests were far above their pay grade, and were more suited for ordinary adventurers.

Before they could choose any of them, however, Bellum and Belua made their appearance. Lanus bowed at the former's wave while Renee just waved back. Lanus, however, proceeded to whistle, followed by leering at the wolf belua from top to bottom.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss." He walked up to her with a smile. "I believe we have yet to be acquainted? The name's Lanus. Lanus Retily."

"And I'm Renee Terfiel," the other fey followed, walking closer as well. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She lifted the hem of her skirt for a curtsy.

After their short chat, Rana finished sorting out the request documents. And the two proceeded to look them over.

"You're right, Miss Lana." Lanus smiled. "We should take that request." He pointed at the "We definitely should take the escort request! You have no idea how useful it is to have connections with the upper class!"

"Hmph!" Renee huffed, crossing her arms under her chest. "Don't lie, Lanus! You just want to be around a pretty girl! No, we should take the missing kids quest instead! Those poor kids need to be saved as soon as possible!"

"Hmm, I dunno. The prospect of mucking around in the sewers searching for some brats doesn't seem to be a tantalizing one…" Lanus scratched his chin in an obviously exaggerated manner. "Oh, I know! Why don't we settle it with a game of rock paper scissors?"

Renee stared at him blankly. "...Are you serious? We're not five-year-olds, you know."

"Aw, don't be like that, my lovely Renee!" Lanus grinned. "You just don't want to because you always lose to me!"

Renee's eyes stared daggers towards her lover. He was right. For some reason, she just could never win against him in the contest. It was the same whenever they decided to play cards. She always lost and whenever she did, he would always make her strip her clothes piece by piece…

"Urghh, fine! Let's just get this over with! In three… two… one… there!"

She took out scissors.

He responded by paper.

H-huh? I… I won? Her mouth fell open as she stared at her hand in disbelief.

"...Ah, what a shame." Lanus shook his head. "You won. As you want, we shall save those poor kids…"

Renee looked up to Lanus. She knew he was only pretending to be disappointed, thanks to his bad acting.

Is he… is he purposefully losing to me?

A smile formed on her face. He did. He didn't want to abandon those kids either.

The wererabbit huffed, her cheeks reddening slightly as she glared at Takeshi. “Hmph! You don’t have the right to pat my head! You’re not my father!”

Ayu finally returned and saw Takeshi and Lunatea little scene. "Hahaha! It's good to see that Lord Takeshi is getting along really well with the yokai." She cheered.

“I’m not getting along with him!" Lunatea protested, only to fall to deaf ears.

The two then explained the message Musubi had brought to Ayu, although, it was more like Takeshi did all the talking while the wererabbit stood behind him saying nothing. She was still too upset to speak in her usual manner.

Only when Kerry and Relica made their dynamic entry that she returned back to her usual self, out of the sheer disbelief and surprise that she experienced.

“What in the world are you two doing?!”

They were then interrupted yet again by the arrival of Io, Yuki, and Kaze. Takeshi then left the group to catch up with the latter, leaving the wererabbit with Ayu.

"Big news, everyone. Lady Kyouko has a fleet ready, but she needs a big enough port here to land it. Otherwise, the Varjan can inflict heavy losses on her fleet, even if they can't outright destroy it." The head spy explained. "Most, if not all, major ports in Shizuyama are already taken. That means we'll have to liberate one from the invaders."

"The closest major port here is Komatsu Bay. But I heard that place is as fortified as a castle, taking it head-on will be quite the challenge. Even for you, yokai, so I'm interested in your thoughts." Ayu said. "Although, I do have an idea... N-Never mind, it's not worth it."

“You want us to assault a castle?” Lunatea asked with raised eyebrows. “Are you insane? We might be strong but we’re not that strong! We’ll need an actual army to do that!”

"Hold on to that. Don't ask me where I got it. Now, if Komatsu Bay is fortified, then a full on assault would be a death sentence, not with the devastated numbers on Shizuyamian side. You got us, but there's only so much that we can do, so we'll have to be smart about this. Do you think there's anyone here, refugee or otherwise, that has been there? Any secret routes we can use to- wait, shit, I just remembered. Takamori's kid spilled the beans on that, so the Varjans may have any hidden pathways that we could've used covered."

"She's right," The wererabbit chimed in. "A full-on assault would be the death of us all. And if there's no secret tunnel of some sort that we can use to sneak in, I have no idea how we would do it. Maybe we can set up a bait so the majority of their forces would be somewhere else while we sneak in into the fortress?"

It was only a vague suggestion, a fact Lunatea was well-aware of. She was a scholar, not a war strategist. So she wasn't good at all at this sort of stuff.

"Well, I know someone who's been there but he's... shady, to say the least." Ayu scratched the back of her head. "That and, his name is... well, I guess there's no dressing this up: His name is Shizuka. Not our Shizuka, of course, just same names." The head spy revealed. "Err, I guess we can find a way to handle the names later."

"Actually, that's not all. He's actually doing business with the Varjans." Ayu continued. "But that guy owes me, I'm sure he'll help us. His methods, though, can get... unorthodox so the question is, are you guys prepared for that?"

Lunatea nodded. “That’s fine. If it’s the only plan we got, then we might as well take it.”

"I believe," Io chimed in to Ayu's last statement, "That 'unorthodox' is our modus operandi." It was an equal part lament and praise, in Io's eyes. "But can we trust someone doing business with the enemy?"

I’m with Io on this one.”, concurred Kerry as she crossed her arms. “You say this guy owes you and I’m down for doing anything ‘unorthodox’, but do you even trust him? In my line of work, people who operate on both sides of the coin, per say, aren’t who you would call trustworthy. He could lead us into a trap, for all we know.”

“Io and Kerry are right.” Lunatea chimed in. “We have to make sure he’s a trustworthy person before we employ his methods.” The incident with the natives trying to kill Takeshi and set her up for his murder was still fresh on her mind. Just how many untrustworthy humans are there in this island?

Unfortunately, they never ended up finishing their conversation.

For Eula came in a rush, yelling that the temple was under attack by the Varjans.

Chaos broke loose as the upper part of the pagoda was decimated by a flaming boulder. Lunatea quickly readied herself for a fight, creating a wind barrier around her and the others, protecting them from the rubble falling around them.

After giving his speech, Takeshi ordered them to go wherever they were needed most, which wasn't much of an order at all.

Tch! Everyone for themselves, isn't it?

Lunatea decided she wasn’t a frontline fighter. As such, it would be better if she stayed with the human refugees, protecting them from any Varjan soldiers that might make it inside.

She made her way to the inner hall where the humans had gathered, on the way telling anyone she met to hurry up and go there. Someone had erected a barrier over the temple, something she was particularly grateful for as it meant she wouldn’t have to worry about more flaming boulders landing on their heads.

The hall was packed to the brim and her sharp ears picked up every single whispers and murmurs that came out from the masses.

"Mommy, are we gonna be okay?"

"Shh, of course we are. Sir Takeshi and his retainers are fighting for us right at this very moment. So you have to be a good girl and stay silent, alright?"

The mother's optimism wasn't shared by everyone there however. Some were praying under their breaths, begging to the gods to save them. Others were actively sobbing as despair crept into their hearts, making them think this would be their last moments.

The wererabbit paused, her mouth half-open before she closed it once more. She was about to give the crowd some words of comfort, only to realize she wasn't any good at public speeches. What would she say that could soothe their concern, especially since a lot of them were wary of monsters like her?

And then, all of a sudden, the words came to her mind.

"People of Shizuyama! Hear my words! My name is Lunatea vern Farnsworth and I am a soldier that Lord Takeshi has recruited to protect this island!" She placed a hand on her chest, moving her eyes across the crowd. To her surprise, they immediately turned their attention towards her. The hall was now completely silent as they all waited for her to continue her speech.

"I may be a monster! A youkai! But that doesn't mean I am evil or untrustworthy! I am on your side against the Varjans and I swear that I shall protect you from them! So please, stay calm and stay here until it is safe!"

The silence continued as the refugees exchanged worried looks against each other. Thankfully, her magic panties realized the gravity of the situation and they decided not to flip up her dress, even though there were many males of mating age in the crowd.

That… that should be good enough, right?

She ended her speech with an awkward bow before exiting the room, closing the door behind her.

Now, she just had to stand guard here, against any Varjans that might sneak into the temple.

"That voice…" Renee paused the moment she got close to the door. "That's…"

"That's her voice, yes. It seems our dear mage has made her decision at last. That was certainly faster than expected." Lanus grinned.

It didn't take long until Brun invited the two in the room. And sure enough, they thought right, for Rana was indeed inside the room. Renee quickly gave her a smile, followed by Lanus.

”Good Morning, my goodness, I thought you two would’ve still been in the mess hall. I was just having a discussion about this fine young lady’s future plans, hopefully involving her becoming a new member of Eon.” Brun said. ”I believe you all are already acquainted?”

"Indeed we have," Renee replied, still smiling ear to ear.

”Oh, uh, Good Morning to the both of you. It’s certainly pleasant to see you both again. As for this meeting…” She scratched her cheek, having a sheepish expression on her face. ”This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but I wasn’t able to really come up with anything on where to go from here, so I decided to explore avenues at this tower. Um, that is, if you all don’t mind having some b-list magus researcher as part of your fold. Hehe…”

"That's a great idea, Lana!" Renee came over to her and grabbed her hands with excitement. "You'll fit here just fine! Don't you worry! I'll be there if you need anything!"

"And I, too, am at your service, Milady." Lanus gave one of his characteristic bows.

The two took their seats beside Rana, with Renee sending a slightly threatening glare towards Brun, ready to lash out if she gave her a job Rana didn't want to do.

Thankfully, that didn't come to pass, as Brun wisely gave her the role of an operation specialist, a role that she was perfectly happy with.

”Thank you, I’m glad to be here. Rana said, looking toward Renee and Lanus. ”Well, guys, it looks like I’ll be in your hair longer yet.”

"I'll be in your care as well, Rana!" Renee smiled, shaking her hand.

"And me as well." Lanus kissed her hand, flashing her his charming smile.

Just when the wererabbit was about to leave, she froze on the spot.

For the door had just slid open, revealing Takeshi behind it.

Lunatea cursed silently. She was supposed to leave before he arrived, godsdammit!

"Uhh, welcome to Shizuyama, milady. Err, Ayu was taken aside to help with a small matter. She'll join us as soon as she can. " Takeshi sighed in front of you Lunatea. "I take it you two have acquainted with each other?"

"Yes, we have, albeit only for a short moment." She ended with a quick glare towards the woman.

The Nurarihyon then told them of the news from Lady Kyouko, saying that the Inari had a fleet awaiting to attack the Varjan blockade but needed a friendly port or the fleet will get worn down through attrition. She then said she would help the taskforce from the shadows as that was more her thing.

Hmph! From the shadows, huh? It suits her indeed!

Afterwards, she and Takeshi left. Unfortunately, before they knew it, they were alone together again.

"...You know, now that I thought about it." Takeshi started. "Had... everything been vastly different, I'd definitely consider getting together with you." He flashed her a goofy, yet genuine, smile.

Lunatea's face swiftly turned into a cold frown that was strangely accompanied by a blush. W-why must he bring that up out of the blue? Is he mocking me?!

"…You don't have to pity me. I can handle it just fine, you know." She returned, throwing her face away from his gaze. "I'll find another husband just fine. And one much better than you at that," she added with a certain venom in her words.

"Haah…"

Renee yawned, stretching her arms upwards before rubbing her eyes with her hands.

She and Lanus had just entered the mess hall and already some of the other Reavers could tell that they didn't seem to get enough sleep last night. Both of them had dark circles under their eyes and they looked like they just woke up.

Making their way to Bellum, they grabbed their food before taking their seats besides the other Reavers. Throughout the meal, they mostly kept to themselves, though Renee couldn't resist chiming in to some of their conversations.

”Get outta here.” Said Ruecian. ”I knew she was a weirdo, but I didn’t realize she was a cannibal too. AND she swallowed some of the waste??”

”It’s all true!” Lapis said, assuring her brother. ”She did the same thing to some of the Makara. But, at the same time, it was thanks to her that we were able to make an antidote and restore the Makara to normal. ”

”Still though, that’s really gross..” Eve chimed in. ”I’m surprised that she’s even still alive.”

”Perhaps we shouldn’t be gossiping about someone who’s sitting right near us?” Roze said, scolding her teammates.

”Eh, I don’t think she minds.”” Ruecian said, jovially. ”Besides, she probably takes pride in it.”

"I'm sorry, who's the cannibal again?" Renee asked with disbelief.

She didn't need to wait long for that question to be answered, for Scarlett soon swooshed over to their table before pouring a nose-crushingly putrid mixture of bodily waste into the existing bowls, followed by her own puke.

"I overheard you talking shit, so I thought you were hungry," Scarlett says, before wiping her lips. "Please, enjoy. It's hot and fresh," she offered with a sickening politeness, like a mother offering her home cooking to strangers, as she said, "and made with love."

Before anyone at the table could muster anything to strike back with, Scarlett turned and shuffled off.

Thankfully, she left her and Lanus's bowl alone. But it didn't stop the fae from watching her with an open mouth, in complete and utter disbelief with what had just transpired. What a revolting person! She thought to herself.

Lanus, on the other hand, merely chuckled as he took a sip of his tea, finding the whole thing more amusing than anything.

When the beastman arrived, just like the others, she also jumped on her seat when the beastman slammed the cup on the table. She quickly gave him an annoyed look though she didn't say anything, opting to resume eating her bread instead. Apparently his name is Xashan and he just returned from a trip to the mountains.

The arrival of Selini quickly grabbed the attention of both fae, with Lanus quickly sizing up her beauty while Renee fangirling over the fact that the Witch of Chaos herself was here.

She remained silent as she spoke, nodding to every word she said. She didn't really care about the newcomer, having never heard of him, and so her gaze was kept solely towards the woman.

Lanus, on the other hand, did glance towards him. The Beast Whisperer, huh? How interesting. Who knows he out of all people would be joining our ranks? Wonder why a freelancer like him decides to throw his hat with us all of a sudden?

Still, he quickly returned his attention back towards Selini, his gaze ogling her slightly exposed cleavage.

This week, there will be an inquisitor from the Holy Church visiting.” Her tone was now dead serious. ”This is part of their bi-annual inspection of all magus sects, and while we are autonomous we are no less subject. We ask that you all remain on your P’s and Q’s.”

At this statement, Lanus raised his eyebrows. "An Inquisitor? From the Church?"

"That doesn't sound good." Renee commented with an annoyed expression, still holding her half-eaten toast. "I'll try getting out of their way. I'm not good at all at playing nice with obnoxious people."

Lanus had to stifle his laugh, hearing his girlfriend say that. Patting her on the head, he then said, "You can leave all the talking to me, my dear. Still…" He looked back at the woman. "I'd rather not meet that inquisitor either."

The two had a run-in with a Church personnel before. And boy, did that turn out bad.

There’s a young woman who wants to discuss a few things with me.”

Renee and Lanus exchanged looks the moment they heard that sentence. Was that who they thought they were?

The two quickly stood up to follow the woman.

The state official, having heard Renee’s outburst, turned back to face her for a moment. ”Her losses are a tragedy. However, sacrifice is always necessary in our line of work. Those who can’t become accustomed to such things don’t really belong here, wouldn’t you agree. He then returned back to his tent, likely ignoring any further comments in regards to the issue. Rana didn’t respond to his statement, probably used to this kind of treatment, sadly.

"Why you…!" Renee took a step forward, fully intending to chase after the man. Only to be stopped by a grip on her shoulder by Lanus, who then shook his head. The fae girl could only grab his hand back, looking at him with a forlorn expression.

He was right. There was nothing she could say to change his mind.

And, if they were to be truthful about it, he was right. Such was the fate of those who fought against the miasma.

All she could do now was to comfort Rana.

********

On the way back, Renee sat beside Rana, holding her hand with a sympathetic look on her face. Lanus, once again, opted not to say anything. He believed Renee was far more suited to comfort her over him. He might be a skirt-chasing womanizer but he knew when to back off when necessary.

Once they arrived back at the city, Rana was the first to be dropped off. Renee said her goodbyes to her, even climbing out of the vehicle momentarily to do so. Giving her a quick hug, she promised she would be welcome if she chose to join their ranks.

Afterwards, back at the tower, Renee and Lanus climbed down the vehicle after Rue and Rose did.

”Like I said before, you guys did pretty well out there. When another job that requires clearing out monsters and miasma comes along, I’ll be sure to consider you two for it.” Rue said with a confident smirk.

"Why, thank you!" Lanus replied with a smile. "I wouldn't have been able to do it without her help, that's for sure!" She patted her shoulder.

"Thank you for your praise." Renee lifted the hem of her mini skirt as she curtsied, inadvertently flashing a hint of blue stripes under it "I still have much to learn as a magus and I know for a fact that I still need Lanus' guidance in combat."

”You guys are free to do as you please for now, but be aware that we start first thing in the morning! So, try not to do anything too crazy before you turn in for the night.”

”I think I’ll turn in for the night. See you all in the morning.” Roze said, entering the doors. Rue followed not too long after.

Lanus turned to Renee and asked, "Well, what do you think? Should we turn in for the night as well?"

Renee stretched her arms upwards and yawned. "I think we should. I'm tired."

And so, the couple made their way to their shared dorm room. Normally, they each would get their own rooms, but they both agreed that they'd rather share a living space together. As such, they were given a larger room than usual.

"What do you think?" Rana spoke as she unbuttoned her cape, hanging it on the coat hanger near the room. Lanus then did the same with his jacket before taking a seat on the bed.

"Hmm?" Lanus raised his eyebrows while he unbuttoned his boots.

"About Rana." She made her way to the wardrobe, bending over to look for her nightgown. "Do you think she'll make a good reaver?"

"Ah, about that." Lanus smiled, his eyes ogling her exposed panties and behind. "It depends on herself, to be honest. Does she still have the drive to fight after that? Or does she wish to never gaze upon said horror ever again? Really, it's the same question I asked you before."

Renee stood up, a short black nightgown resting on her hands. Using her other hand, she unclasped her skirt, letting it slide down her legs to the carpeted floor.

She turned to face her lover, completely unfazed by the fact that her striped panties was now in full view.

"I'll check up on her once we have a day off," she declared with a concerned look. Unfortunately, they had another mission to do tomorrow.

"That kindness… that's why I fell for you, you know." Lanus grinned, putting his boots to the side before standing up. He then worked on his belt, unbuckling it from its place.

Taken off-guard by his sudden flirting, Renee's cheeks reddened. "Hmph! That's not the only reason why you like me, is it? Don't think I didn't notice you ogling my butt, you pervert!"

"A pervert, huh?" Lanus chuckled. "How about this?"

With one single move, he unzipped and unbuttoned his trousers, letting them fall to the floor.

Renee froze, her gaze locked to the black undergarments he wore underneath.

"See? You're a pervert too, my dear." He walked up to her and patted her head. "Now, let us enjoy ourselves for the night, shall we?" Earning a yelp from the smaller girl, he swept her off her feet and brought her to the bed.

And so, the fae couple did what couples do — make passionate love with each other. They always did it whenever they returned from fighting against miasma. Lanus always said that it was a good way to relieve stress. And to appreciate the fact that they got to live for another day.
