I thought art was meant to invoke thought, and the meaning that a viewer finds can be taken as a way they see themselves.
Nobody else can think your own thoughts, ergo, your opinions on art are your own.

Disturbed, enlightened or inspired are just objective terms to loosely summarize what a viewer feels.
