Character Details:
Name: Haato Kyōko
Age: 17
Personality: When describing Kyōko, it quickly becomes difficult to not use the word ‘idiot.’ Her friends and family will at least give her the benefit of the doubt and call her a ‘lovable’ idiot. She’s not just an idiot, of course. Kyōko is loud, proud, dramatic, brash, brave, and extremely determined. 

She has a well known competitive streak, and can often be found bashing her head into a wall until something gives. It’s very easy for her to get frustrated, but that doesn’t stop her from being endlessly optimistic. With an infectious giggle, she never fails to pat a friend on the back and try to make light of a situation. Some Oftentimes, this ends poorly.

All in all, Kyōko is a valuable friend to have — if a bit of a challenge to keep up with at times.

Background: Kyōko grew up in Pallet Town, where her parents tried to get her to stay in school, get good grades, and be ready to be a lawyer, or a doctor. Unfortunately, even at a young age, Kyōko latched onto her uncle’s hip, and listened to stories of his travels. A famous Pokémon trainer, her uncle traveled across the world to train and adventure with his Pokémon. He had run-ins with gangsters, battles in the air, explored the seafloor… Kyōko was enthralled from the first story she told, and even though her parents encouraged her to stay ‘realistic,’ Kyōko already knew what she wanted to be when she grew up: A Pokémon Master. No, not just a trainer like her uncle — that wouldn’t be good enough for her. She wanted to be the very best.

Growing up, Kyōko begged her parents to let her have a Pokémon; she’d already picked the one she wanted to start with! Her uncle had started when he was ten years old, and she didn’t want to fall behind. Unfortunately, despite her pleas, her parents ignored her. It wasn’t until just recently, her 17th birthday, that her parents were unable to deny her request anymore.

For her 17th birthday, she unwrapped a present from her uncle: a Premier Ball, containing the Pokémon she’d always wanted to start her journey with. Armed with that, and a backpack full of her favorite snacks, Kyōko is ready to take the first step to being the greatest trainer in the world.

Of course, she is just a little ill-prepared.

Name: Ledyba, M; Dudders
Overview: Kind of a runt, even for a Ledyba. Nonetheless, he punches hard and fast, and is as aggressive as his trainer is. He’s here to kick ass and eat Oran berries and Kyōko already ate all the berries.
Ability: Early Bird; He wakes Kyōko up early to get her exercising and ready for the day
