He’s also prone to dropping a project or new hobby if he doesn’t immediately excel at it; something that even happened with the dog he received as a gift going into high school from his uncle. Tyler named the dog, but it was only a few months before his twin sister was taking care of the puppy. When Tyler finds something he does excel at, he throws himself into it. It’s how he found his first love: lacrosse in middle school. He loves to play and uses the field as a place where he can show off as much as he wants, and he often plays like a one man army: greedy, and a ball hog. Even with that in mind, he’s such a naturally talented player that he was first choice to be captain in his senior year. However, Tyler isn’t interested in a responsibility like that and turned it down because “I just want to score goals, man.” B I O G R A P H Y For his entire life, Tyler’s father has told both him and his sister that he expects them to go to college and get a ‘good, real job.’ Once upon a time, Tyler’s father was a world renowned professional MMA competitor, and after retirement in 2016 he spent his prize money and brand on starting an extremely successful marijuana brand: Mr. Rogers’s Kush. Sawyer Rogers does not consider either knocking heads around nor selling weed to be a ‘real job,’ and he’s made that very clear to his children. ____________________________________________________________________________Personally, Tyler doesn’t get it. When he was younger, he wanted to be a fighter like his dad, or a ‘farmer’ like his mom, but both ideas were shot down by his dad who told him to grow up and be a doctor, or a lawyer, even a Wall St. man. Someone that matters. Tyler eventually turned the idea of being ‘someone that matters’ into becoming a surgeon who can help people that suffer from the same kind of injuries that caused his father to eventually retire: a brain surgeon, specializing in traumatic concussions. In his final year of high school, Tyler is focusing almost all his efforts on two things: getting into Harvard, and setting just a few more school records in lacrosse before he leaves. His goals have led to a lifestyle that sacrifices sleep to enjoy what little social life he can, and has made him an avid consumer of energy drinks.
