Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

@Crusader LordAll right. Your CS is good to go. You can post in the IC whenever you can.
@Crusader LordI'm not going to allow the healing. Otherwise, no fight will be a challenge. There is no healing magic in Zelda. All healing is done by buying potions, cooking food, or paranormal such as fairies. Pick another song ability.
@Holy Soldier got it up in the CS tab

Nickname: Tadpole, Guppy
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Race: Zora
Height: 4'2"
Weight: 85 lbs
Hair Color: No hair! Red mammal-like tail fin.
Eye Color: Gold
Written Description: Koja is rather unique for a Zora. There aren’t too many red Zoras for most of them are light-blue and pale. He has a smooth, crimson porpoise-like skin with baby blubber making him heavier than he appears. His gills are beneath his arms and his teeth are sharp like a sharks. He has webbed feet and naturally, he has extendable and retractable forarm fins that are like blades. They are only six-inches long, but one day they’ll grow longer. In captivity, he only wears some aquatic shorts.
Goddess: Nayru

Primary Weapon: While he has no actual weapons currently, his fin blades, teeth, and tail fin are his natural weapons.
Off-hand: N/A
Projectile: He will spit beams of water at enemies. It's not really that strong but it makes for a great distraction.
Magic Power:

Water Manipulation: Koja can manipulate water molecules in the air or natural bodies of water in his vicinity. He can use this water to bowl over enemies, drown enemies, and create distractions. He can condense the water molecules until its hard enough to hit like a baseball. He can also provide water to drink and use as others need. He will primarily use the water at times to make an orb around himself to keep himself hydrated and healthy.

Occupation: Exotic Pet owned by the merchant Bugut.

Current Story:

One day, a traveling merchant named Bugut came across a mysterious pearl-like orb in the water. He thought that it was a rare jewel until he felt its bouncy and gel-like texture. He guessed the orb to be a rare egg and he kept the egg in water until it hatched. Emerging from the egg was the most interesting fish Bugut had ever seen. It resembled a spotted, red baby shark and he considered cooking the creature at first until it shocked him by giggling when he picked it up. The fish was sentient, and seeing it stare at him with its big black eyes discouraged him from eating him. Over the years, the fish’s fins grew longer until what appeared to be fingers and toes appeared at the end of them. The fish was soon swimming upright and paddling about the tank he kept him in. Bugut eventually learned that what he had wasn’t a fish but a Zora. The merchant became scared. He had found someone’s missing child! Afraid to face the wrath of Zora’s Domain, Bugut never ventured by the realm and kept Koja in the dark about his origins. He had the fish boy believe that he was the only one of his kind, and as they traveled Hyrule, Koja started to believe him. He remained Bugut’s number one attraction. People in every town paid money to see the mysterious red fish boy, and when Bugut learned that he could play guitar, they made even more money. Come see the guitar-playing Fish Boy!

Bugut was able to afford a fancy wagon and two fine mares to pull it along. It made for a quick trip through the Bokoblin-littered country and through the red nights of the Blood Moon. After passing through the treacherous Dueling Peaks, Bugut and Koja have come to Dueling Peaks Stable to rest and make a few rupees. Little did Koja know that his fish bowl was about to get much bigger.

Music Instrument:

Guitar: Traveling Hyrule with Bugut allowed Koja to hear some wonderful music. He supposedly learned to play guitar after watching a minstrel play. When Bugut learned this, he bought Koja a guitar and now he's not only an expensive pet but an attraction. Bugut just discovered a new way to make rupees!

Song(s):

Rain Song: A happy tune that summons the rains.

Talents:

Faster Learner: For having grown up in a fish bowl, Koja has learned a lot about the world. The Hylian language being one thing. He is more intelligent than what people expect.

Fisherman: He is probably the best fisherman in the group. When you can swim like a dolphin, fishing is easy!

@ilovepapa@Crusader Lord@RabidporcupineOnce you guys get your CSes up, you are free to post in the IC. I will be reviewing your instruments, songs, and talents as you add them to your CS. Be sure to @mention me once you have those three things up.

Crusader, you're still missing the Talents section, and of course, refer to the post above this one.
@Crusader LordThe song needs to have ONE ability. Healing is one. Buffing is another. Also because time can't be measured in writing, we'll measure the duration in "turns." One turn is one completed round in a posting order. So 5 turns would be acceptable.
@Crusader LordShe can sing it.

Those with a mind for wisdom. I hear you calling and send my child.

Those with a body forged by power. I hear you calling and send my child.

Those with a heart steeled in courage. I hear you calling and send my child.

Those who are calling for me. I go to you.

Dueling Peaks Stable

Located midway between Dueling Peaks, two enormous twin peaks that a thin pass cuts through, is a small, cozy rest stop and stable. South of it are Big Twin Bridge and Little Twin Bridge. North is the dreaded Ash Swamp, home to tribes of various Bokoblins but also supposedly there’s loot. To the east is an old tower called the “Hateno Tower.” It has always been there and it’s pretty dormant though people claim to hear a woman’s voice eerily speaking from it. Further east is the first piece of legitimate civilization in a while, Hateno Village. Although, supposedly, there are whispers of a hidden village to the north.

These are all NPCs.
Darton and Shibo: Two twin brothers of adolescent age and horse experts.
Domidak and Prissen: Two treasure hunters as well as twin brothers of adult age who may know where some treasure may be.
Hino: A storyteller who will happily enlighten you of the tale about the dreaded Blood Moon.
Rensa and Tasseren: Twins again? What is going on here? Tassern owns the stable, while Rensa owns the Inn. Tassern can sell you a horse for a decent price! If you don't have any rupees, then you better go find something to trade (*coughtreasurecough*). Rensa, on the other hand, will offer you two types of beds to rest in: regular or soft bed. The soft bed is slightly more expensive but leaves characters feeling extra refreshed.

1 GM Event

These are all NPCs.
Beedle: Identified by the large beetle-like shell pack he wears on his back. Beedle likes to sell bugs, arrows, and other odd monster parts.
Angus: He likes to sell or trade dairy products: milk, cheese, and eggs.
Bugut: He sells exotic animal ingredients. They are also very expensive. One of his exotic animals...hm...seems to actually be alive and not an animal at all!
Mezer: Meat, meat, and more meat. You need meat and rock salt? He got you.

IC Rules

1. No OOC in the IC. Use the OOC and @mention whoever's attention you need.
2. No ridiculously huge pics. Use an image website to shrink them down. If you can't shrink it, then put a hider around it.
3. No blinding or too dark to read font colors. I should not have to highlight your writing to be able to read it.
4. Interact. There are a lot of things to do. Meet each other and do it together. Do not go alone.
5. Posting Courtesy. Allow every player involved to have a chance to post. Unless you get that writer's permission to skip him or her, then you may do so. Do not make a tea party.
6. Posting Order. There will only be a P.O. in a GM event. The GM will literally let you know in the GM post what the order is and who goes first. So for now, do not worry about it. The GM will also make it very obvious when a GM post is dropped. It will have a GM header, "GM event."
7. Use th Tag. The tag is designed to help everyone keep track of your character's location and who he or she is talking to. Please have the tag posted at the top of every single one of your posts. Thank you.

Hey all, be sure to subscribe. While I layout the basic foundation of the world we will be role playing in (be happy because BOTW has a nice detailed map), there are a few additional things I want you guys to add to your CSes.

Music Instrument: What music instrument do they carry with them or play? These instruments should correlate to the ones mentioned in the goddess description.

Songs: You write the name of the song your character plays and what spell is cast after the song is played. It can be offensive, defensive, or supportive.

I wanted to add this because music was always a part of the game (as traditional to Ocarina of Time). As a Christmas gift, you can choose one ability that after playing a song, causes for something magical to happen. Something related to your character's deity preferably. For example, maybe after they play the song, a tornado stops trying to rip through the town or maybe one is created (in Farore's case). Maybe playing a song warms everyone up if they're in a cold region, such as in Din's case. These are just examples. You only get one for Chapter One!

Talents: Choose two talents. These are like special skills such as craft, botany, cooking, etc. Pick two and try not to pick the same ones!

@ilovepapa@Crusader Lord@Rabidporcupine :D

Also, be sure to move your CSes over to the character thread.
