About: Thorin was born in Bruma, Cyrodiil, to Ola and Agnis Hammerhand, who would become one of the wealthiest Nord families in the city. Ola gained renown as a weaponsmith, while Agnis was a beloved Nordic-style baker. However, all of this would come to a grinding halt on the 1st of Sun's Dusk, 4E 191, when Thalmor Justiciar Feanor carried out an utter genocide of all Nords in Bruma, because they believed that they would be concocting a "Stormcloak uprising" in the city. Before Thorin could be found, Ola sent him on horseback to ride for Skyrim's border. In Skyrim, he sought work as a weaponsmith, but was advised by Aela the Huntress to join the Companions, after he stood up to a bandit in Falkreath. Thorin served Jorrvaskr well for years, until one night, Circle-members Skjor and Aela turned him into a werewolf. Consumed with bloodlust, Thorin became a servant to Hircine, and hunted the Silver Hand with Aela. He only realized the error of his ways when their campaign led to the death of Kodlak Whitemane, the beloved Harbinger. Upon embarking on a quest to cure Kodlak of his Beast Blood, Thorin also cured his own, feeling that if he remained a werewolf, Kodlak's hopes would be all for naught.
