Would Vincent have something like a mission control (aka Bridge Bunnies) helping him? I have an idea for my next post, but it kind of swings around this, so if not I'd have to rethink how to reveal the plot around that assassin.

Vincent's officially backed by the governments of several powerful countries. He would have a support team consisting of medics, scientists, engineers and the like to patch him up, repair his gear, and study any findings after each incursion (for example, all the monster gore stuck to his swords.) as well as provide him with intel relating to the city itself and anything they might discover about Youkai and what's best for fighting them. Ideally, yes, this would include a support team giving him info live via radio.

However, in my first post I wrote that radio transmissions couldn't pass between the human world and Crimson world, because to my knowledge they're in different dimensions. If we're gonna do this, I'd like an explanation for why radios could still connect to the human world, OR a decent idea for how technology can circumvent the problem, OR you really, really can't think of how to reveal the plot otherwise.

Also if you want a decent way to reveal assassin plot, Vincent's trying to chop the leader's arms and legs off so he can interrogate him.
So like is this open, because holy hell this looks fun

I think it's open. Best to just make a sheet, and KoL can get to you next time he logs on.
"!" Vincent saw a number of heavy shells fly in front of him; the sword slicing cleanly through the receiver of his rifle. What followed was a swift kick, knocking him into a wall. Between that and his adrenaline rush, he had no time to consider the small girl who'd suddenly appeared.

Just as he peeled himself out of the wall, a pair of swords rocketed towards him.

The stench of burning flesh filled the air.

Vincent was no ordinary man. A thick layer of ultra-dense muscle tissue wrapped his body. His ribcage had no gaps. The swords had lodged a mere few inches in his chest. He wrapped his fingers around the red-hot blade, burning them as well, and pried the weapons out, letting them fall to the ground. He drew the claymore adorning his back, looked at it, and tossed it onto the swords as well. The executioner stretched his neck.

A shooting star came from the sky, crashing into one of the assassins, then dragging itself along the ground, ramming into the wall next to Vincent where it stopped. A panel opened, and Vincent drew his next weapon. This particular weapon was a brutish thing, a sword longer, thicker, and heavier than anything meant for human use. The blackened blade was nearly as long as Vincent, with a blade thick and wide. It looked plain, save for a white symbol adorning the ricasso.
Vincent shouldered the eight hundred pound blade, muttering to himself, "Executioner's Anti-Freak Sword: Guillotine."

"You're really starting to piss me off." he said from behind his mask. This youkai knew things it shouldn't, knew about his sister and who he was. He'd have to be an inquisitor as much as an executioner at this rate.
With a sudden forward leap, he grabbed the sword and with surprising speed, unleashed a powerful blow. Vincent's extreme level of strength let him swing the weapon as fast as any other sword, and its sheer weight meant that every blow would cleave its target in half.
With this in mind, Vincent began to rain a merciless flurry of blows on the two remaining assassins, aiming to mutilate them alive. There would be no time to launch fireballs at random civilians.
Of course, only one would receive killing blows. For the leader, Vincent deigned to strike only at the arms and legs. He couldn't shut him up just yet.
Victor was tempted to call down the Sepulcher, a fitting reply to their remark, but at this point that would be overkill. He was already punching holes in their bodies easily; 30mm rounds could pierce through all but the strongest armors.

Suddenly, one of them started to combust completely. Vincent quickly rolled, putting the drop pod between him and the assassin, flames going around the sides. From the safety of cover, he ejected the magazine, and grabbed a spare from the pod, loading it and chambering a fresh round.

The last straggler was diving towards him like Tarzan. Perhaps fortunately, he was using a flame attack instead of trying to bring the fight in close. Vincent used the pod as cover, bracing his rifle against the side of the chunk of space metal and firing off another barrage.
KoL can I get a post sent my way?
woosh
Still open?

I think so. It can't hurt to write up a CS and wait for KoL.
"Sibling?" Vincent's teeth grit to nearly crack in his jaw. He didn't know just how these guys knew that, but their deaths wouldn't be painless. Even as they gave their speech, Vincent had already ordered a special arms.

With one motion, the man ripped up a large, flat piece of sidewalk, wielding it as a makeshift shield to defend against the fireballs by swatting them away in a circular motion. As the concrete quickly crumbled under the impact, he gave a leap away from the downwards stabs the enemy was attempting. Lastly, they were separated as a red hot star fell to earth, slamming between them. The drop pod opened and released a hiss of steam, before a small system ejected its payload into Vincent's hand: A heavy, six foot long rifle with a large, rectangular barrel and a prominent muzzle brake. The executioner slammed a hefty magazine into the gun and chambered a round in one swift motion.

"Executioner's Special 30mm Anti-Freak Battle Rifle: Firing Squad." he muttered to himself. The masked man leveled the gun to fire from the hip, and several squeezes of the trigger released just as many rounds, each sounding a crack of thunder.
Click. Click.

The AA-12 never lasted as long as he'd liked. It was a pain to carry a high number of spare magazines, he thought, still pointing the barrel at some low-level youkai trapped under his boot. Humanoid, but with crimson red eyes. Most of them had a tell, and it was usually rather obvious. Vincent ground his heel into the thing's spine. Nothing was quite as scary when it was bleeding out under your foot. With the bloodied sword in his off hand, Vincent stabbed straight through the back of its skull, killing the thing instantly.

Having already spent some time alone with his work, Vincent had already cleared out a few block's lengths of a street. Behind him, corpses were dismembered and displayed, some impaled on a long piece of rebar, others strung up on cables hanging from the street lights. Bits of concrete and asphalt were shattered, and a few buildings were alight.
Tossing his empty shotgun to the ground, the executioner shouldered his sword and stared silently at his handiwork. This was decent enough progress. Still, the weak ones had scattered. He knew there were strong ones, but they usually tucked themselves away in some corner. Still, they were attracted to displays of power, if only for an attempt to show they were the best. Vincent would find stronger prey in due time.

The executioner shouldered his heavy blade and continued down the street, boot steps echoing in the silent night.
@Shisa@IncredibleBee

I'm sorry, I have things planned for you both, including Alice's Archnemesis (The Queen of Hearts) and a target Worthy of Vincent's skills making their debut, but I'm just too tired to write more tonight, please, allow me at least a couple more days.

Just throw in your idea. At the moment we are still taking more players.

Please, pardon my stupidity, he actually has been deemed OK by us three, however there's a few points (just about your writing structure) that I'd like to discuss before you post his CS. I'll send the PM later.

We can work this up, I don't see any problems with her, but at least she'll need a revision.

<Snipped quote by Rune_Alchemist>

hmm.. yeah. I'm waiting to see that reaction.

Aight. I'm mostly waiting on you I guess.
