Are you still interested? A couple tweaks and we should be good to go.
Small update with information about Magic
Eren felt a slight reassurance that not everyone was against in this trial "Right." He simply responded. The battle against the titans finally felt like it was changing...that humanity finally had a chance. He couldn't help but get the feeling that Sara and the leaders of the Scout Regiment had some ace up their sleeve in regards to freeing him. There was nothing else that felt needed to be said so he nodded in return and watched as the angel walked away. It was only then he noticed how nervous he actually was. Rest well? That seemed like a near impossible request as his mind buzzed with questions. This cascade of thoughts prompted him to check for the key given to him by his father. He audibly gasped as he felt nothing where it should be. A sense of panic consumed him as he wondered if he lost somewhere out on the battlefield or if the military police had taken it from him when he was unconscious. He gritted his teeth heavily before accepting the situation. He wouldn't know until this was all over. What followed was a night of restless sleep until the next morning where he would face a trial to decide if he would serve humanity, or be cut down as a threat.

Keira woke up to the sound of someone banging on her door. She nearly stumbled down the stairs as she rushed to see who it was "Miss Anderson! I was sent by command to escort you to the trial of Eren Yeager!" The full, masculine tone was muffled from behind the door. Panic set in as she realized she had slept much longer than she should of "A-alright! I will b-be out in a few minutes!" Her voice shakily called out. Keira frantically rushed around her house as she did her best to make herself look as best as she could before opening the door "Are you ready to go?" A strong set of amber eyes looked down at her as Keira nodded "Y-yes." His eyes moved toward her medical bag "It is necessary to bring that?" He asked rather rudely to which Keira nodded strongly "A-absolutely!" Now more than ever she couldn't imagine being without it. The military police soldier simply scoffed and turned around "Fine. Let's get moving." He stated with a roughness in his tone before walking off. Keira followed immediately after.

She was placed with many others from the scout regiment, including Mikasa, Sara, and Armin. It would be a lie to say that the fate of Eren didn't concern her. As her patient, Kiera now had a personal stake in this as well. However, the weight of the air in the room was almost suffocating and was quickly agitating her anxiety. Nevertheless, she would suffer through for the sake of the boy.

Eren looked around all those around him that formed the tribunal for his trial. Nobles, merchants, priests were on his right side along with the military police while the witnesses and some of the scout regiment were on his left. Immediately his eyes caught onto the forms of Mikasa and Armin. It wasn't difficult for him to see that they were scared for his sake. Meanwhile, he couldn't help but worry about them. His gaze finally wandered up to Darius Zackly and awaited the trial to begin.
Update: Added Lore and and a basic CS outline
@HeySeussThere are two so far. A militaristic country called the Dremorian Empire and later the army of an ancient and powerful lich. I have another two in the possible works.

@Dragonydas
Sure, just PM me! Now that a few people have shown interest, I will be updating the interest check with much more information.

The world as its people know is tearing itself apart. A vicious and brutal war wages across the continent of Alskyra as the ambitious Dremorian Empire continues to expand its territory. Renegades and bandits prowl the road attempting to take advantage of the chaos. Wild beasts and monster attacks grow in frequency as fewer and fewer soldiers are left to take care of them, leaving the task almost entirely of mercenaries or adventurers. The world itself appears to have gone mad.

Amidst this fighting, a terrible and powerful force is growing in strength in the mountainous lands of Altamea. An ancient evil that once nearly destroyed the world only to be barely defeated by a band of heroes lost to time. No historical records exist until roughly three hundred years after the event. It only exists as a universal legend told among every culture across the world. However, even with the world engulfed in war there remains a place that stands as a true place of peace.

A black castle, larger than any built, sits against a stormy sky only briefly illuminated by flashes of lighting. On top of a cliff it resides, far removed from a world that knows nothing but constant conflict and suffering. Here it stands as a place of refuge, only able to be found by those truly seeking asylum within its walls. A safe haven protected by powerful and ancient magic built by a powerful group that has long ceased to exist. It is guarded by a single individual of remarkable power along with a host of sentient automatons. Anything and everything one could desire is located within its walls so to provide the utmost comfort to those that stay there.

Everyone has their own reason for arriving at the Sanctuary. There are those who are permanent residents of the castle, choosing to spend the rest of their life within its magnificent and every-changing walls. Others come seeking a chance to turn their life around using the knowledge located there. It exists outside of the prejudice and problems of the outside world. Peasant or noble, ex-thief or paladin, it does not matter within the walls of the Sanctuary.

Beyond its primary function as a safe haven, it serves as a place of learning for those wishing to better themselves. Each one of the numerous automatons contains a wealth of knowledge that they will impart on any who are deemed worthy of receiving it. Several stories about legendary warriors and scholars involve the same story about encountering a rough time in their life before encountering a massive black castle. Every account never states the exact location of the castle, as anyone who leave the castle for good are forced to forget its position.

With a legend such as this, it should come as no surprise that there have been individuals who try to claim the knowledge and riches inside for themselves. Those that have attempted to sack the Sanctuary are never heard from again. However much is uncertain in these dangerous times as nations throw their power against each other.

Small fragments of rock and dust were sent through the air as a stray bullet struck the piece of rubble that Daniel was positioned behind. This momement of respite allowed his hearing to gradually get back to normal, although the ringing still made it near impossible to hear anything beyond his own thoughts. He couldn't help but wonder if that vision of Elizabeth had been real or merely a figment of his imagination. No, it was definitely her. There was no way his mind could construct such a vivid vision and besides, the words she spoke were definitely hers. Even in death, she was his guardian angel. He would keep her promise cause in the end...he couldn't really ever say no to her.

It was difficult to put his interest in the apparent squabbling between the two sappers, though if he could hear what was being said he would have told them both to knock it off. One observation he made was quick to put him on edge. There was a considerable amount of women now filling their little rubble pile, and even worse was that two of them bore shock-trooper equipment. One seemed to have more than one screw loose and the other seemed riddled with anxiety and uncertainty. It did not give him great confidence to be fighting near them when they charged the trench-line again.

Though a sea of calm was present in his features, he could feel the rapid beating of his heart in his chest. Was it fear? Anticipation? Excitement? He couldn't place it, though it coursed through his very blood and made the skin on his fingers twinge. Was it because he now had to fight to keep a promise rather than to simply kill and survive? Ever since Elizabeth passed away he cared for very little beyond what served him best at the time. However, her ghost had put the smallest crack in that hard shell he made...a chance for others to break through to him.

Since he was unable to properly hear orders, he instead watched every movement Jean made like a hawk. Through doing this, he could see the terror that gripped the young lance corporal's heart. Daniel had no words of comfort to ease the horror nor advice to push past it. Nothing beyond ending this battle as quickly as possible was going to help. Daniel's eyes narrowly as he watched the Darscen's hand raise and quickly moved into a position to move. The coils of muscle within his legs bundling up and ready to spring forward the moment that hand dropped. He had resigned himself to doing the terrible things that this war would require, so that others wouldn't.

Dirt was kicked up into the air as soon as the signal was given. A hailstorm of machine gun fire lit up the path forward for the charging infantry. Instead of rushing ahead this time, he took up a position alongside the lance corporal. If he would stop for any reason Daniel was determined to kick his ass all the way to the trench. A responsibility now rested on his shoulders and Daniel would be damned if he let Jean get out of it. The various aches and pains of his body were washed away with the tidal wave of adrenaline that pumped into his body. Every broken piece of his heart...every scar on his body...he did not suffer through them to die in a place like this. We was going to live if only in defiance of every challenge life sent his way.

Daniel slide across the mud into a foxhole next to the lance corporal. He managed to check the chamber of his rifle before the order came that he had been waiting for. A glance at the beserk shock-trooper was enough to tell him what to do as he ripped the explosives off a couple dead imperials and threw them into the trench. Explosions rocked the fortification kicking up a black cloud of wood, dirt, and blood. Unsurprisingly, the berserk woman was the first to rush in with Daniel quickly following suit. The ringing in his ear had mostly faded leaving behind only the somewhat muffled sounds of combat. The instincts of his training consumed him as an imperial rifleman peeked from cover. Daniel snapped his rifle against his shoulder and lined up the cross-hairs with his target's chest. He wasted no time pressing his finger against the metal trigger and felt the familiar feeling of the weapon press into his braced shoulder. The shot tore through the air and ripped into the imperials chest before making a clean exit into the dirt wall behind him.

"IF YOU KILL THE PUPPIES, THE BITCH TEARS YOUR THROAT, IMPS!"

Those words bore through the clog in Daniel's hearing straight into his mind, pushing every other sound out with its sheer ferocity. The full and sudden return of his hearing went unnoticed as he glanced at Mila in almost complete disbelief. That was when he heard the battle cry of an Imperial charging from his blind spot. Quickly, he pivoted his feet and pushed off his toes as the sharp blade shot past where his chest had been. Daniel's weapon was dropped to the ground as he reached with his left hand and grabbed the Imp's right arm and used the soldier's momentum with his right hand to lift him off his feet and slam the bastard on his back. Daniel immediately jumped onto the soldier, straddling his waist and locking his legs with his own, and tore his weapon away from him. Then he latched his hands on his neck and began to squeeze, his thumbs purposefully digging into the soft flesh.

The Imperial reached and clawed at his arms and chest in panic while falling just short of Daniel's face. Blood began to seep from his neck as Daniel's thumbs dug deeper. While the soldier struggled to breath, Daniel lifted his head and began to smash it against the ground to the sound of cracking bone. Within seconds the last signs of life disappeared from the soldier and with one last desperate attempt to pull away Daniel's fingers...his life was ended. Daniel let out a loud exhale as he removed his hands from the corpse's throat now covered in blood and dirt. He stood up and picked up his rifle before plunging the bayonet into the Imp's chest. The lack of reaction was enough to confirm his death. He felt nearly nothing from taking this life but the age of the man struck him. The Imperial had to be no older than he was. Daniel quickly took his mind off it. It was us or them, and right now he had to make sure it was them.

@LetMeDoStuff@AtomicNut
His eyes went wide as shocked enveloped his expression, his body shaking as the words hit him. It was impossible. She had to be lying. There was no way he would ever try to harm Mikasa! And yet....staring into her eyes told him different. She had no reason to lie to him and there was a gap in his memory right after he transformed. He hung his head down in guilt for moment before focusing on the positive: Mikasa was unharmed. A small smile of relief came to his lips as Sara kept on talking.

It really did not matter if he approved or not. Nothing could be done to change it now. He had to face the reality that tomorrow his fate would be decided on and he would not take it lying face down. Especially not now when he had the power to accomplish his dream of killing every single titan. At long last he had a chance of finding that freedom he had yearned for since he and Armin were little "Witnesses..." He said softly. It gave him some relief to know that his friends would be there to support him. He was prepared to fight. To show all of them why they should put their faith in him!

Reinstated? His heart jumped a little at that possibility. Did she mean the Survey Corps? That meant he might finally get the chance to see what it is like outside these cramp walls! Wait, did he hear right? Disposed of? He was human! Before he could let that thought simmer, he looked up into the lieutenant's eyes. A plan to make sure he got out of this alive? There was little to do but believe in them. A renewed look of determination shown both in Eren's face and his eyes "Alright! I will put my trust in him, so that I may live to slaughter every last titan!" His complete disdain for the titan menace showed in his last words.
Eren watched as the revelation of his identity seemed to affect Sara somehow. He could only look on in minor anticipation of her next question, constantly wondering about his fate. There was no way he was going to remain locked up here forever. He couldn't stop until every single titan was killed. They were mindless killing machines that needed to be completely destroyed. There was only one thing worse than them and that was the sentient titans. As the image of the Colossal Titan flashed in his mind, anger spread throughout his entire body and was only stopped by the sound of Sara's voice.

His eyes closed shut tightly while his brows furrowed strongly. He nearly bit down on his tongue as he gritted his teeth to suppress the feelings inside. Eren's eyes opened wide with clear and barely suppressed rage "It was my fault. The Colossal Titan appeared and I was not fast enough to kill it!" His clenched his right tightly, allowing him to calm down a little "The same thing happened just like five years ago, except this time it was targeting the fixed cannons as well. I came so close to taking him down but then he vanished." Eren did nothing to hide his frustration and anger. What came next was the most painful memory of it all.

Heavy breathing soon took over as he was forced to remember "We were recalled back to HQ where we were given new orders to form the middle guard of the defense. That's...that's where it all went wrong..." The finger-nails of his right fist dug into the flesh of his palms but did not draw blood "My team, team 34, were ordered to assist the vanguard forces. W-we...we were on the move when we were attacked by an aberrant titan." A steady stream of tears fell form his face "I thought we manged to escape but it killed Thomas! I wanted the bastard to pay so I chased after it." He wiped the tears from his face "Everything went wrong after that. We were engaged by multiple titans and I nearly lost Armin. I had to pull him out of a titan's dirty mouth. The last thing I really remembered is an insatiable rage at all of their kind as it swallowed me!"

He forced himself to take a few moments to return his breathing to normal before beginning again "The next thing I know Mikasa and Armin are by my side surrounded by other soldiers aiming their weapons at us. I managed to protect them from a canon shot but it was Armin who manged to save us. He bought enough time for Commander Pixis to come and actually listen to us. That was also when I realized what I could do." Eren laid back against the backboard of the bed, a little exhausted from talking "You should know what came after that, right?" The plan had actually succeeded. Humanity had their first victory. And now? He was locked up in this cell when he should be out there killing titans!
