Second, I feel like the more restrained way in which Marvel handles superpowers lends itself better for storytelling and for more creative characters and scenarios, though both groups have a tendency to drive things into breaking and then needing retconning.

Anyway, I'm personally more of a Marvel fan. First I'm more of a movie-based fan, comics were never my thing, and Marvel definitely takes the win in movies.

If it's the DC thing I would say because I've always just prefered DC comics I like the dark and grittyness of them and the overall comics I just prefer DC
