"Then we need to get to work. Let's do this in sections. Start here." From there They worked diligently and carefully. Carth was monitoring Shinlo while Ash and Orion worked on his back. Working on clearing the infections, and sewing what he could that were worse off.

When they were done, Carth was still checking his pulse and breathing. Orion was wrapping up the last of his injuries. "Good work, and thank you."

Seto's smiled, almost giddy that he found a worthy opponent. "Because you better be a worthy opponent and no disappoint." At the moment the knight went after Seto, his dragon came to his defense curling around him her head infront as she opened her maw for a blast of white Lightning to be unleashed right then infront of the knight.

Yami came upon the barrier of Shadows of which opened up upon his approach. He entered the barrier cautiously till he laid his eyes on Serena, whom he knelt down infront of. He tentively reached a hand to her, slipping his hand to her cheek as he accessed her injuries. "Serena..."

"No. It only numbs. Never puts one to sleep. Let's prop his head then. But I do see where you are coming from. I'm not too verses with animals as I am with people." Orion explains. "This is why I want to try and reopen the wounds, check to see what is hidden so I may treat it accordingly."

Mahad was ready to go to his King's defense when Guardian of the King came to their defense. Yami nodded as he concentrated on his path to Serena. Seto went after the stranger who went after Yami. "Now you have my attention and can deal with me." He challenges.

Joey looked to Yugi and nodded "Alright Gearfried! Slice and dice these creeps!"

"He may not get fevers but this wound still needs to be treated. Now. This is going to be tough but manageable. Help me if you want but if not, I will need to ask you to leave the room while I work. There is another room next to this one. If you stay to help this will go by smoothly and quickly. I will have to remove some of the scar tissue to treat the infection and get it to heal properly." He explains.

Yami stopped to look around feeling something wasn't right. He looked to Yugi to see Dark Magician Girl at his defense. He looks for Serena next. Looking around for her, he spotted her and felt his heart drop. To see Serena on the ground with someone over her. It made his blood boil. Without another thought he ran to Serena and her attacker. Mahad looked to Duke before leaving to help Yami.

Joey cursed as he saw Yami run into the middle of the battle. "Tristen, go help Duke!" Red-Eyes roared in response and swooped to Duke's defense.

Seto had also seen Yami's rush to Serena's side and frowned, annoyed by his reckless act. He though ran after him with Blue eyes to cover them.

When Yami got close enough he decided to summon another monster. "Twin-Hearted Knight! Come to my aid!"

Carth was shocked to hear Shinlo's past. Orion was disgusted. He hated slavers and what they did. They were the kind he would never help.

Carth saw the way Shinlo flinched. He went over to help Ash remove his shirt and saw the damage done. Orion took a look himself and was ready to move. "Ash, help me get him to the bed and laying on his stomach." He ordered, ready to do what he could to fix this. He gently lifted Shinlo from one side, gently moving him to the bed and on his stomach as carefully as possible.

Once that was done, Orion carefully removed the bandages and then grabbed a bottle, a container, cloth, wraps and other tools. He the. Gently started applying a liquid by cloth to the edges and what he could to the wound. "This is a numbing compound, it will take a little to take effect but will help me treat your injuries." Orion explained.

As Orion looked him over, seeing the whip like marks on his chest. He decided to take better look. "Too much trouble for you but not me. This is my profession not stop talking till I ask you questions or I WILL gag you. Do I make myself clear?" He asks Shinlo, getting rather annoyed. He continued his examination, checking on the scars. "How did these happen?" He asks Shinlo.

Carth was glad he wasn't imagining things when he heard the voice again. He then nodded and looked to Shinlo and Orion before looking back to Isis. "Think it's because of the plant creatures?" He asks, wondering what if it was possibly due to injuries that weren't treated properly.

Orion seemed to think on this before nodding and motioning him to sit in a chair. "Alright. Take a seat Shinlo. Let me have a look at you and let's see what we can come to. "Doctors orders and no buts." His tone near the end was sturn like a parent having to scold a child. "Carth, check on his little friend you have there." With that once Shinlo sat, he started his examination. Starting with his eyes, skin, heart, joint reaction and so on.

Carth looked to Isis and looked her over. Unsure what he could do. "Well, is my body heat helping any?" He asks her.

Carth looks to Ash though examines her compared to Shinlo. Hearing about what Shinlo had been through, he looked back to the man and sighs. I'll still need to shift to have him at my side for him to get part of the proper care he needs."

Orion nods. "Indeed. I'll go make him a porridge to help. If you haven't made sure that you had a proper meal than this also factors into why you are not feeling well. I could see if a butcher has any tiny chunks of meat for your little snake friend. She may not have had a proper meal either, why she is seeking Carth's warmth" Orion explains.
