Personality: Jason is a man who has a personal vendetta with the Cruxi. In simulations to date, he has a reputation of being absolutely ruthless against the simulated foes. While he may be out for Cruxi blood in battle, Jason is also there to ensure nobody else feels his pain. He has shown a tendency to assist others in order to ensure survival for the next fight.
Outside of combat, Jason is a friendly individual and even a bit of a flirt (those girls in the franewerk pilot outfits...). He is always honest and kind towards those around him, the kind of guy that makes friends easily. He has a sense of humor for the ages. Jason is also stark loyal to the cause, and humanity. He is also likely to step in if one of his friends is being bullied, or even if somebody just needs help. A truly kindhearted person at his core.
Background: Jason's home planet was caught completely unaware by a brutal Cruxi assualt. The boy, having been around 15 years old at the time was off world visiting his grandparents. The battle for his home was short and sweet, not even a single ship escaped the horrible assualt. When the boy found out, via news outlets at his grandparents house... he was devasted. Jason Diabolus was the only survivor of his home, his family and friends were annihilated. He went into severe depression for many a month after that point.
It was on the three month anniversary of his home world's demise that a military man appeared at his Grandparents' home. This was a man that Jason had known since the incident, and been in contact with the entire time. Sitting down with the boy, this man talked to him about many things. One of which being the story of the Phoenix and how it rose from its ashes to burn anew. A story that stuck with the boy. Not long after he had enlisted and was training in the Framewerk program to become a pilot. Having gotten a tattoo of the phoneix to remind himself of what he was, the boy quickly earned that nickname among his peers. Phoenix.

Other things: He has a Phoenix tattooed onto his back. Its wings reach his shoulders, and the head comes up the back of his neck. It is meant to symbolize that he will rise from the ashes of his home planet, born again to wreck havoc among the enemy.

SIGNATURE WEAPON SYSTEM:
The M-810C, is the only functional weapon of its type in service at the moment. The M-810C is classified as a 'Gun Launcher'. Meaning it works much like a railgun in how it accelerates the projectiles that are fired. What makes the M-810C unique is two of its main systems. First; the weapon can fire specialized projectiles that are either Anti-Battleship Armor Piercing (Kinetic) or High Explosive Crowd Control projectiles (Energy). Second; the weapon has an extremely impressive power output (if charged- otherwise it isn't as strong as other railgins) and range due to a unique design. The circle near the base of the weapon actually spins the projectile around its circumference. Then is released by a trigger pull. Meaning that the projectile can be accelerated to increase range/power to incredible amounts (however there is a hard limit as too long will melt the projectile and overheat the weapon.)
The downside to such a weapon is both how long it takes to accelerate and fire (making it a long range sniper/bunker-buster) weapon. Along with the fact that it has a massive power draw. The weapon attaches to the Framewerk's fusion reactor, drawing its power from there and thus not being able to be fired terribly often. This weapon got its nickname during testing, when the projectile was charged to limit and then managed to fire clean through a small moon. Breaking the object.
The M-810C mounts on the Framewerk's right shoulder. It slides onto the back when not in use, and has a scope that can be used as needed.
SECONDARY WEAPON SYSTEM:
The HM-255E is a series of around 200 Light Missiles that are mounted inside of the Framewerk's arms, chest, legs, and back. They are not meant to be used for long range attacks as they have a short range relative to most missiles. Instead, these missiles are meant to be fired and used in the event that any enemies get close to the unit. At which point the missiles will lock and fire in groupings of 5. Until either the target is dead, or the pilot terminates firing.
An enhanced version of the ATS Targeting System included in the Assualt Packs, now integrated into Ribasu's mainframe. Providing the benefits of multiple weapons fire, and other benefits of the ATS, the Enhanced model comes with one better option. By taking time to run enhanced simulations, pilots can identify weakpoints on armor for maximized damage, overpenetration, or even to 'thread the needle' in critical situations. However taking damage during the simulation running may result in the shot being completely thrown off due to calculations errors.
WEIGHT CLASS: Ribasu is a heavy Framewerk, meaning it has thick armor plating that is built to take a beating, and has a massive offensive power. Unfortunately, this means that Ribasu is not particularly fast. So the Framewerk is a usually deployed towards the back of a fight. Meant to be a heavy hitter.

Shield generators designed to take the brunt of both energy and projectile attacks. Heavy protection for the unit, but only protects the unit which they are attached to.
