Ever make a mistake so bad, that it hurts every time you just think of it? Ever wish you could go back in time and fix everything so you didn't hurt the one who matters most? Yeah, me too.

Bio

Do not go gentle into that good night
By: Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Roman let everybody say their goodbyes and make their peace with each other. He let them go about their speeches and whatnot about how they needed to succeed on their mission. It wasn't that he thought himself superior to the group, or that he felt such like he was in charge. Rather, it was the fact that the young man did not feel like he had much of a place to wish them luck. Not after he had been the cause of one of their teammates dying in the field. Not when he was basically useless on the previous mission they had come back from so recently. He simply didn't want to go interact with everybody. Instead he wanted to get to work on their time machine, to get results and unfuck their world.

While everybody was busy with their discussions, Roman's datapad was already in her hands. Tapping away at, he was already trying to get a jump on the whole making a time machine thing. He wanted to get started with some of the calculations he could use to help everybody move the project along that much sooner. He didn't much envy the idea of staying here any longer than they had to. Each passing second was another which Ultron could've found them within. The last thing they really needed was for the tin can man himself to show up and ruin all of their lives. That would certainly put a dampner on their plan to unfuck their timeline.
@Ellri I have done the requested updates.

For Vasani, I answered everything except stuff about her father, as he was simply not involved in any decision involving the children. It was more about heirs than about a romantic tie. As well as the other things you requested.

For Talik, answered/inserted everything and added a human companion to the droid bounty hunter (as his owner most likely, though they're listed as a duo). Removed the Chain Lightning ability.

I hope this satisifes everything and if something needs to be added/clarified please let me know!
Jade Schneider

As she felt the other person reach over and grasp her hand, Jade gently closed her fingers around it and shook Rosie's hand. It was a bit of an odd situation as most people tended to just apologize and not bother shaking her hand when she pointed out her lack of sight. Yet this girl did not seem overly bothered by the fact that she was blind. Listening to the girl's words, it took Jade a long few moments to process what she meant. The camp's oracle? It took her even longer to figure out that it meant oracle in the manner of Greek myths, which were apparently real and all of that was still super weird. So did that mean that this girl could do something like reading into the future? Jade wondered if Rosie could do it on command, like did she always know which team was going to win the superbowl that year or was it random?

"Y-yeah! I'm Hecate's daughter. At least, I really think I am. I was told that she claimed me and this spellbook appeared in my hands. Not to mention the whole doing magic thing so its gotta mean I'm the daughter of somebody related to magic, right?" Jade said, rambling a little bit as she was still trying to wrap her head around the whole situation herself. Sure, she had done magic and a braille spellbook had appeared in her hands but it was still hard to concieve. Like, she was the daughter of some ancient Greek Goddess and a half-god herself? A broken person who couldn't see? Shaking her head she decided to try and change the subject as she turned towards Rosie. "So can you like, see the future and stuff? Does that mean you are always aware of the superbowl winners for that year or the surprise ending of those drama movies?"

Reunion: Part II

One moment, Nano was flying through the air towards her sister with the full intent of tackling the other girl in a hug. Then probably chewing her out for disappearing. Then more hugs. However, she somehow just wound up sitting on the bench where she was had not even been close to just before that. Her poor young mind couldn't even begin to process how she had suddenly been moved from jumping at her sister to sitting on the bench. Had she moved that quickly? No, Verra couldn't have done that! Only Velocity could move that quickly and Nano knew for a fact that Verra couldn't be Velocity. Verra had always been much better than the hero. Had Verra somehow learned some sort of magic like what was so common in the scar? But why did Verra teleport her over to the bench instead of letting herself get hugged? Nano felt the anxiety and unease that she had felt on their flight into this stop coursing through her veins once more. Had her little voice in the back of her head been correct this whole time? Maybe Verra suddenly did had what she had become. Or maybe she didn't even recognize her little sister anymore after she had been so radically changed with the nanobots making her limbs. Her eye went wide as she felt the unease causing little butterflies in her gut. So overactive and uneasy had her mind become that she had little feelings like sparks running along her body. Yet when she spoke up again towards her sister, it wasn't a pained sound or a plea wondering why Verra didn't want to be around her anymore. No, instead it was a rather innocent-sounding question so that Verra wouldn't worry about her, her sister didn't deserve to have the burden of a broken girl upon her.

"Verra when did you learn teleportation magic!?" Nano demanded suddenly, forcing her voice to sound as if everything were fine. As if she were just a normal girl chatting with her sister. In a way, she did kind of understand Verra not wanting her around as she was a bit of a freak with how much metal made up her body. Still, it hurt. It stung that the girl she had loved and idolized for most of her life had so easily turned away from her again after being separated for so long. The little voice inside of the young hero started gnawing away again, reassuring her that she was right all along. That she was a freak, the scar had changed her into a monster as well. Verra would never love her again, how could anybody be expected to love a freak like her? These dark thoughts and more started to eat away at her once more, sending Nano further into that dark place within her mind. The signs of her internal struggle becoming visible on the surface as her expression fell from pure joy to defeat. The look in her eyes grew distant. Her very stature as she sat on that bench seemed to deflate. Instead, she turned her attention down towards her hands as they sat in her lap and that tingling, sparky feeling continued to run through her body. Only this time it seemed to be growing more intense as she wondered if this was what anxiety felt like to others. Was it normal for her to be borderline in pain because of her mind screwing her over like this? She didn't know, life outside of the scar was already proving to be so much more difficult and scarier than living within that hellscape. As she thought these the painful feeling ran down to her hands, and the girl's eye went wide as she could see that nanites in her arm vibrating rapidly while lightning arced along the metal.

Nano stood in a panic, looking towards her sister and Champion she held up her arms to show the strange phenomenon. "M-mr. Champion? Verra? I need help!" She said, the panic rising in her tone as her whole body at once seemed to start aggressively vibrating in the same manner as her arms were. The lightning, which seemed to be centralized around where Verra had touched her, erupted out across the vibrating nanites as Nano screaming out in fear and pain. Then as she took a step forward to try to get help from the others, the world changed radically for her. The nanites stopped hurting as she suddenly surged forward, covering an impossible distance in a few mere seconds. The odd thing about it all being that it seemed to happen in slow motion to the young girl, yet at the same time, she was somehow clearly aware that what was happening was impossible to stop. In a panic she continued to run, turning slightly as she tried to maneuver back towards Champion and Verra. Unfortunately, she soon saw the wall of the small building at the rest stop growing closer and knew she couldn't avoid it. Her screams of panic and fear elevated in volume and pitch, then just like that the world went black as she slammed into the building with a hefty clunk. The girl crumpled to the ground, unconscious as lightning still sparked along her for a few more moments. The whole ordeal lasting no more than a couple of seconds before she was unconscious.

Another round of attempting to manifest the flame, and another round of failures to do so passed as Jade continued to work on her spell. Yet it never seemed to work out the way that she wanted to, however. Seeing as each time it was greeted with the sounds of fire popping, and the smell of smoke, closely followed by the sounds dying out and no sense of feeling of warmth that one would expect from a fire floating just above their hand. Deciding to give it one more shot, the girl focused hard on her magics and practically imagined the air around her palm pushing in together in order to create a condensed state that would be ripe for ignition. Then she could imagine the friction growing, a spark igniting the air, then the fuel for that fire becoming her magic as it sat comfortably above her palm.

Then she felt the warmth, and heard the soft crackling of flame that told her she had in fact caused the flame to manifest just above her palm. A loud squeal of excitement could be heard as she held it out to show the others around her. Pride clearly displayed on her features as the act of magic she had just achieved. So excited was she, that she never heard the other approach until she said hello. In turn, Jade jumped and yelped slightly, turning her head quickly in the direction of the noise. "Uhhhh, hi! I don't know your voice so if we are just meeting I am blind and can't see your hand!" She said quickly, defaulting to her usual introduction as people commonly enough tried to shake her hand without thinking that she wouldn't be able to see their hand.

The bickering between the wizard and psychopathic supervillain-killer-guy was oddly juvenile in Roman's mind as he watched the two bicker. His expression was completely blank as he seemed like he couldn't quite decide how to react or feel about the two bickering with each other in the lab. He debated for a long few moments if perhaps he should say something to them about the size of their egos or something, but quickly figured it would be left better unsaid. He hadn't exactly been the most helpful on this mission and couldn't really talk on the fact of egos. That and, you know, Doom is kinda a terrifying man who could probably kill him in less than ten seconds. The mere thought of which chilled Roman to his core, and left him happy whenever they seemed about ready to head back to the Sanctum.

Back at the Sanctum, Roman listened quietly as they started splitting off into groups, watching as Cass volunteered to go with the assault team, Roman wanted to go with them to try to help protect one of the few people he truly cared about. Yet after the last mission, he knew full well that he would not be of that much use, and soon talked himself out of it. He looked in her direction for a few long moments, wondering if perhaps he could approach his friend, but felt he didn't really have a right to do so after being responsible for Bonnie's death. Turning away and back towards the team that was going to be building the time machine, he knew full well that he was going be best-suited working on this team. "I'll stay here and work on the time machine. Just ah, all of you on the assault team come back alive, yeah?" He said to them, before letting out a sigh and turned away again. Already thinking of what they might need to do for the time machine.

Vasani'Brinme Skirata || The Shadow

It took just about every fiber in the twi'lek's system to not cheer aloud as she watched the cargo bay begin to close rather rapidly, closely followed by the low rumbling as the ship's engines started up. A small grin did appear on her lips, as the girl tapped a couple more times at her datapad to cement her place in the system. Looking up as she heard the blaster shots, her eyes went slightly wide for only a brief moment as she watched her former ally get gunned down. Closely followed by the dog that had accompanied him at all times, both dead and the captain of the ship telling the rest of the crew to not tell a... five-toes? She wasn't sure who the hell had a name like five-toes, nor how they even managed to get such a name, and figured that she was not particularly keen to find out. Letting out a small sigh, she slowly stood up from where she had been hiding from the blaster fire, looking for a long moment towards the droid standing next to her who had shot the main guns at them. "See, didn't even go for a weapon. I'm trying to work with you guys." She said softly, wanting to hopefully make it clear to the droid that she wasn't there as an enemy. At least, reassure it enough that he wouldn't try to put two between her shoulder blades the moment she started to walk away. Looking up at him for a few more moments, a standoff meant to determine for her whether or not the droid did in fact plan to kill her. Deciding that he would have already done so if he was planning on putting her down as her former ally had been just a few mere moments ago, Brin gave him a small nod before turning and walking back to leave the cargo bay.

As she sauntered towards the elevator door, the girl tapped lightly at her datapad and called opened the door to leave the cargo bay and go further into the ship before she should have been close enough to activate it. A small gesture meant to subtly show that she was in their system, and hopefully a point that she could use in the coming encounter with the ship's captain. Then moving towards the elevator on board, the girl tapped twice more at her datapad to call down the elevator. To the casual observer, it would seem as if she had gotten in and seized total control of the ship. The reality of the matter was that she had only managed to get into the basic systems such as calling down the elevators in her short amount of time she had dedicated to actually getting into the system. Still, it was a move she hoped that she would be able to pull over on the captain. The woman looked smart, but typically unless one was also a slicer, most in this galaxy did not particularly understand slicing or the intricacies of computers. So with any amount of luck, she would be able to use this to convince the captain of this ship that she was actually critical to be added to the crew. Granted, the fact that she had gotten in so quickly and rather easily was in and of itself a sign that they needed somebody like her. At least, they needed her to upgrade their defenses to prevent somebody else from doing what she was doing. As she rode the elevator up, she cast a small look over at the astromech droid that had been following along with her. Sparky beeping along pleasantly even as she noticed that he seemed to have taken some minor damage in the scuffle. "Aw, they got you a bit hurt, Sparky? Don't worry, I'll fix you up later sweetheart." She whispered softly, as the doors opened to reveal they were at the level she was supposed to be at.

Humming some pop song that would usually play in the more 'new age' cantinas to herself as she walked down the hall, the girl looked around the ship to take in the state of the ship. Overall, it seemed to be in remarkably good condition considering that she really didn't see all that many people running back and forth upkeeping the ship. It would not be long after this that she would arrive at the conference room. Tapping at her datapad a couple of times, the door slid open and she slowly strode inside. Looking at the long table and chairs, she hummed some more as she walked around the table. Carefully looking and deciding which of the seats she would want to use, as she wanted the one which looked the most comfortable. Then the Twi'lek found one that looked suitable to herself, and sat down calmly, leaning back in the chair as she kept an eye on the door. From her demeanor, one could tell that the girl did not feel overly worried about the whole situation, as she felt that she very likely had it all under control. Next to her, Sparky pulled up in between chairs and made worried little rumblings. The girl laughed and shook her head in response to the droid's beeps and boops, patting Sparky lightly on the head as she did. "No, silly. I helped them with their problem, our former ally will serve a bounty that I brought to them, and... if all else fails I got a backup plan in place. We're gonna be fine, you and me buddy. I'll make sure of that, and we'll make sure to get you all patched up." She said once more as if talking to a close friend of hers. The droid beeped a couple more times, and Brin nodded along. "Yeah, I promise Sparky. Don't worry about it buddy." She said in a friendly tone with a sweet smile towards the droid.
