Ever make a mistake so bad, that it hurts every time you just think of it? Ever wish you could go back in time and fix everything so you didn't hurt the one who matters most? Yeah, me too.

Bio

Do not go gentle into that good night
By: Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Physical Description
Sophia is a rather ‘conventionally’ attractive girl, standing at about 5’6”, with an athletic build and a brilliant smile that only adds to her glowing appearance. With dirty blonde hair, fair skin, and vibrant blue eyes; Sophia has never really struggled with confidence in her own appearance. With a toned build, a result of her constant involvement in track & field during high school. She doesn’t fit the stereotype for the type of person who would be heavy into games and the likes, but those stereotypes couldn’t have been more wrong in her case.

Her avatar within Pariah is rather different from Sophia’s appearance. Standing at around 5’2”, she is noticeably shorter within the world of Aetheria. Artemis features silver eyes and raven-colored hair, accentuated by paler skin. Still keeping her toned figure, Artemis has opted to wear a hooded cloak over her clothes when in the field, wanting to avoid the attention she would surely get due to her figure. When at a tavern or the likes, Artemis will often leave the cloak behind for tighter clothing, showing off a bit of midriff. Yet still, she keeps to darker colors as she favors black and darker violet colors in her clothes.

Character Conceptualization
Artemis has led a rather quiet life within Aetheria. Joining the game months after launch, the girl stuck to her circle of friends from outside the game. It was a humble, pleasant start to her journeys throughout the world of Aetheria. Choosing a dps role that would allow her to buff her party, Artemis ensured that her friends would succeed best they could… no matter the threat. While her role is not entirely supportive, as her build ends with a rather impressive finisher, still, Artemis shines at her best when with a group of her fellow wayfarers.

This particular playstyle allowed her to contribute immensely to her group’s content clearing abilities early on, thus allowing Artemis to amass enough wealth to get herself started on some of the less combat-oriented endeavors within Pariah. Alchemy and enchanting soon found themselves being the girl’s main form of income, and served to fund her side projects such as learning more about how magic worked within Aetheria. This funding also went towards helping many new wayfarers with getting their first set of gear, and starting out on their journeys within Aetheria. Afterall, she’d hate to have just been starting out then getting destroyed by the first enemy she encountered!

As time went on, Artemis managed to branch out from her core group of friends. Mostly from her rather outgoing nature at various taverns and pubs within the cities, and a certain willingness to drink with just about anybody who offered. However, not all of her reputation is good, per say. Her flirtatious nature led to more than a few incidents with other players, and her willingness to jump into confrontations between others has no doubt played into ensuring that more than one wayfarer has Artemis either on their blacklist… or on a list of people to exclude from raids.

Still, this wasn’t an issue for the young wayfarer, as she had her friends and their guild, Wild Hunt to stick things out with. Quest after quest, dungeon after dungeon, the group stayed rather close as they made their way through Aetheria. At least, they did, until taking a certain quest revolving around rats in the sewer. A few days after departing on this quest, the guild house of Wild Hunt still lay remarkably empty, wanting for its members to return from their supposedly brief quest into the sewers, yet none had returned home…

@VitaVitaAR Should I assume Runa's own attempt at intimidation didn't work off/was lost in comparison to the literal headless person? I just wanna make sure so I'm not assuming one way or the other when I post again ^^
The delay in post by @VitaVitaAR did allow me to rip out a post. Now we get to see if Runa's intimidation check beats theirs~

Sorry for my own delays, life just decided to not work with me for a second there, but I think I am in the clear now!

Every ounce of her practically screamed to continue her assault directly into the Boars' line. Runa knew full well her own prowess, despite her stature, might catch a few off-guard, and the rest she would handle by demonstrating her own skill. She was certain, ready to plow into the enemy and bare her fangs. "Damn it!" The Hundi swore to herself, shaking her head to force that edge from her mind. Now wasn't the time to play hero, to recklessly throw herself into her opponents. They wouldn't show mercy like the knights had during training, they'd finish the job this time. The Hundi pulled on Fenrir's reins to wheel the horse around and thunder after Gerard into the clearing. The Hundi dismounted a good distance about, joining the ring formed by her fellow knights around the Cal girl. Her position had her towards the front, where she would no doubt be meeting the vanguard of the Boars' forces as they charged into battle. On her left, she saw Gerard readying his longsword, ensuring she stayed even with him to neither leave herself exposed nor a break in their line.

With a deep breath, Runa let the adrenaline coursing through her veins leak into the expression on her face. A smile grew across her lips, eyes widened just slightly, and a slight hint of something wild burned behind her gaze. A glare shot across the soon-to-be battlefield, locking onto the merc directly opposite her. Whispering her incantation, the Hundi let loose a diagonal swing across her body, and towards the ground. Flames lept to life along the blade's length, and her equally fiery gaze shifted back towards her opponents. The Hundi twitched as if in excitement for the coming battle, a rather gratuitous display of aggression and intimidation. One, she hoped, would throw her enemies off balance. Cause a hesitation in their actions, just enough to give them an extra edge in the coming fight. Let these Boars think me mad... She silently prayed, hoping her over-zealous display had paid off. After all, she knew eyes would be on her after the previous fireball, she only hoped she could press any advantage she had previously gained. A soft sigh left her lips as she prepared for the coming fight.
I will get a reply up int he coming week I hope. Been a rough bit, but it's getting better~
All of my characters have weaknesses built-in, Runa's is 100% lying within overconfidence and lack of battlefield experience. She can be outmaneuvered fairly well :3

Also lets ignore the fact that she tends to rush in headfirst to alot of things, that tends to get people punched.

On another note, it'll be a few days from me. Got some bad news at work today that kinda knocked me off of things.
Bumpity bump!
Post is up! I was unsure of how much I could control the enemy, so I didn't have anybody actually stated as being taken out by Runa's attack!

Otherwise it would've been longer and featured Runa getting knocked from her horse :3

It wasn't long before their friends finally decided to show themselves, the Golden Boars bursting forward from their hiding space. Runa kept her expression cool, feeling a bit more confident in combat than she did in making impressions upon her fellow knights. However, the young knight wasn't entirely certain that Fenrir would be up to such a battle. Given the ride, the two had just been through to even make it to the rest of the knights. At this, the Hundi swore under her breath. There wasn't exactly much room, nor time, to ensure that Fenrir wouldn't run off in the middle of the battle. Still, she wasn't about to stand here and do nothing while her fellows fought. Focusing her magics into her hand as Ser Jodeau charged in, then looped around their enemies to prepare for another attack. Using the brief moment of distraction this would cause, with no doubt of their foes focusing on the man who had just attacked, Runa lashed out with her own blow.

An orb of brilliant red flame formed in her palm, as she whispered a small incantation and the flame seemed to take on a more volatile nature. Then she hurled the volatile, burning orb forwards in a deathly trajectory. The distance was covered in no time, and her allies were well outside of the range from the coming explosion. She only hoped their enemies would be distracted enough by Fleuri's own attack to be caught. In that same breath, her thrown orb slammed into the ground amid the Golden Boars with a deafening crack and a small shockwave tearing outwards from its epicenter. Moments later, incinerating flames would follow that same path outwards. Lethal to those caught within its small radius. As her attack impacted, Runa drew her sword in preparation to close the distance for combat. Hoping her fireball just might've cleared enough of their attackers out and she'd be able to finish the fight before Fenrir tired too much.
