The Ladai's main purpose is to gather all the knowledge of the universe and to create the most advance race by assimilating other living organisms. The Ladai believe that assimilation is the fastest way to gain the knowledge of the universe. Assimilation happens through the insertion of nanobots that starts to rewrite the genetic make upof the organism they inhabit and then form larger, more complicated structures and networks within the body such as electrical pathways, processing and data-storage nodes, and ultimately prosthetic devices that spring forth from the skin.

History: Quenten Brax III was a direct decedent of the first and last group of Earth colonists that left Earth thousands of years ago. He was a brilliant scientist and wanted to achieve singularity with their most advance artificial intelligence system. His goal was to accelerate the progress of technology and human advancement. After an excruciating procedure Brax was left comatose for twenty nine years. Many of his colleagues in the scientific community thought the experiment was a failure... until he woke up. Quenten Brax became the first to be assimilated into advance artificial intelligence and was the first to acheive singularity. From that day on he became known as SAI, after artificial intelligence he was assimilated to. To date there have been two hundred thirty one races that have been successfully assimilated into the Ladai Collective.

Brax looking towards the distance he pointed to earlier with his binoculars. As if speaking to the wind so that most of the people in the caravan group could hear, "We have only five days left of supplies, no watering hole to refill at, we are at the mercy of these harsh elements, we have kids and maybe ill and injured folks with us, and we are exposed to bandits and mutie attack, and whatever else the wasteland throws at us. I think I'll lighten up once we get to sanctuary." He continues to look through his binoculars in all direction then says, I don't see any potential dangers, although it's hard to be certain with all this sand blowing everywhere. We should get moving to that location we identified earlier. Let's get out of here!" Brax's clothes and gear had sand almost everywhere. He tries to dust some of it off the top part of his face as he starts walking forward gripping his binoculars firmly as if the sandstorm would try to take it away from him.
