I'd say to go after Abigail, but three is kind of much for Abigail to deal with, but maybe the fact they're in UoD space, surrounded by "fellow" members could help even things out.

The way I was looking at it was the planet was inside UoD controlled space, so many of the UoD members frequent it, but I didn't see it as existing in any level of official capacity under the UoD.

Well yeah there is that Arthur C. Clarke's third law "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

I mean what good is having to have a long chant to throw a fireball 50 yards and blow someone up when you can pull a trigger and fire a recoilless rifle and blow someone up from 900 yards.

It's portability and concealment, a recoilless rifle is bulky and heavy and loud. People will notice that. On the other hand with the fireball, you can do damage by mere speech and some bodily motion.

In this case Chris just has a great many things that is large, loud, dangerous and red.

Ugh! I was waiting for a chance to bring up Clarke's third law, because of how much magic and technology we've got floating around here, but never found the right time to work it in. The Symphogear system is really just highly advanced power-suits powered via singing of a user that's attuned with said gear.

It's more spoilers

The series actually has proper honest magic and alchemy come third season but wielded not by the symphogear users but by Alchemists.

It can do a lot more than what the wiki page would suggest... a Hell of a lot more

I think in this case, Legion was just referring to it as magic, because of the mention of infinite energy, since, from how I see it, anything that breaks physical laws falls under magic, but I could be wrong.

Question: reality fields suppress magic, and other abilities that could be considered "reality warping," but is there any equivalent for technology? I get why the reality fields are there, from a story perspective, but it seems like it's kind of one sided since the characters with really powerful technology or science based abilities don't face a similar form of restraint.

I can pick a Fire Emblem Character (Of one's choosing perhaps, although maybe a more obscure one is better then those in Smash)

Or I can pick the Doomslayer from DOOM (2016).

Out of those I'd say Samus Aran, because we don't have very many gun users, and I'm not sure if the Doomslayer could keep up with some of the characters we've got running around now. Although, I suppose that's half the fun.

Didn't you use a female Godzilla/ human hybrid awhile back? I always thought that was pretty cool. Though, I guess Godzilla is more chaotic than good or bad.
