The giant's fragment began pulling Abbygail towards him, slowly, much slower than he would've liked, or even thought possible. For someone so tiny, the purple haired woman was strong.

"STabbing a man in the back!" The giant growled, slowly but surely reeling his prey towards him. "Have you no shame!" He gritted his teeth as the pain in his back throbbed. He was starting to feel cold, and could feel the hot liquid flowing down onto his lower back. Desperation fueled his muscles and even as life left his body the amount of chain between the two decreased.

That is until the Janet woke up, or seemed to wake up. It was hard to tell if she was still asleep or not. All Abbygail knew for sure was she was exerting her power, in a much different way than she'd seen before. The giant was lifted off the ground, and pulled towards the young woman. In his surprise he shouted something incoherent and let go of the purple haired woman's chain. On instinct she pulled the blade from the man's back, and dug her scythe into the ground to keep herself from being pulled forwards.

"Argh!" The giant would've roared, if he had enough strength in his body. Unsure of what was going on, he decided to roll with the situation as best he could. He made a fist, and pulled it back, intent on striking the small woman when he got into range of her.

@grandia20
"Urgh!" The giant mumbled when the blow hit his head. He tried to move his arm to ward off any further attacks, but all he managed to do was shift his weight and cause himself to flop over and land on his back. "Grr." He muttered, too tired and weak to care about anything outside of the fact that another blow didn't arrive. Frowning, he closed his eyes and gave a single snore before the power the devil fruit infused in his heart faded away.

@Shiyonichi
The giant roared as he closed in on Red-Eyes, thrusting the boulder in his hand forwards. Although he was certain she'd be able to dodge the strike, that didn't stop him from putting in as much power as he could manage into the blow. As was the case for everything the giant did, there was intent to crush bones and pop organs in his thrust. So there was quiet the high amount of force when he finally reached the woman and felt the stone disappear in his hands, sending fragments of rocks shooting towards him like a blast from a shotgun. One particularly nasty piece of stone got him right in the forehead, just above the eyes.

The blow to his brain's cage wasn't enough to kill the giant. His skull was harder than normal and it would take much more than that to cause it to crack. The blow was, however, enough to give his brain a good tumble about. It hit the front of his skull and then slid back to smack into the back. The fluid that normally worked as cushion failed in doing anything more than keeping him from death.

As his brain reeled from the multiple impacts, the giant's concentration completely vanished. For a brief time he had no idea who he was, what he was, where he was, how he was, or anything else for that matter. All in all he was lucky he still know how to breath and didn't forget how to keep his heart from stopping completely. The one benefit of the strike, if one were dead set on finding some kind of silver lining was he wasn't aware of his opponent drawing her sword and slashing him deeply across the chest.

As the blood left his body the man's strength followed it quickly behind. He dropped to his knees, watching the red fluid fly above him like rain that wasn't quite sure how gravity worked. It was pretty though. He smiled and his eyes rolled down into the back of his head. He fell forwards and landed with all the grace of a stone.

@Crimson Lion

The man sighed, and shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well." He let himself plop on the ground next to the swordsman and watched the last bits of the fight unfold. "Just as well. It looks like you guys are going to just about finish off that damn Legion pirate group so even if it takes a bit longer to rebuild my pub, it'll be worth it."
@ACHTUNG

That was a surprisingly calm 24 hours after a legion post.

Pretty sure it was because nobody could post. hopefully things will speed up today. fingers crossed!
Wow! This looks really cool!
@Lmpkio
In my post I tried to make it so that even though Abigail was sensing the minds of the stormtroopers as an uncertainty but If I went to far in my post, let me know and I'll change it.
@Lmpkio
Slowly but surely the group made their way forwards. The ferocity of the green invasion was possibly a surprise to some as most beings in the universe didn't move at such a suicidal rate, but the novelty of the situation didn't last long. As there were nothing but battle hardened soldiers around, who didn't have time to reflect on how their enemy's single mindedness was similar to that of an ant colony's but that wasn't quiet right. As much as everything happened for the good of the colony, there was still care for the good of the colony. Ants would aide one another in moments of crises, even going so far as to put themselves in harm's way to save another. It wasn't like this with the tide of suicidal bodies that threw against them. There was no comrade in the assault. It was as if every two bit minion thought they were going to be the hero that scored the winning shot when in the end they were nothing but cannon fodder.

Between precise slashes at green orbs with legs, which were so delicate she didn't even need to use her armament haki to destroy them, Abigail took moment's to note the fighting force which she was currently aligned with. To many the storm trooper's skill in battle would've come as a surprise. After all, many considered them as a bit of a joke in actual engagements, but that was nothing more than rumors and propaganda, which had started with the destruction of one of the Empire's special weapons. Real stormtrooper's were a force to be reckoned with. Fighting was pushed into their brains with power drill proficiency right at the start of their training, and only looked bad, at least from what Abigail's learned in her travels, because a few particularly skilled opponents they found themselves engaged with.

However, training and skill aside, she couldn't help but note that she was still dealing with human beings, who had the same limits as any other living entities. Sure, they could go toe to toe with the best of them, but they did have limits as she couldn't help but notice that little by little she could feel nerves seeming to throb around her. Of course, she could always just be imagining things as the sheer number of flood swarming around made it difficult to track her comrades too, or maybe putting more concern into the growing unease that was needed.

"Hey!" Abigail called to the leader of the group. "ABout this diplomat we're suppose to save and take home, how much further do you think they are?" She paused to swing around and sever two green abominations in half, causing their orbs to pop in a green cloud and the rest of their bodies fall to the ground with a wet clang that could hardly be heard over the firing and clicking of claws.. "I mean, I'm not in too much of a rush or anything, because of personal issues, but some of your men seem to be getting kind of nervous." Another pause for a series of swings that caused four of the little problems to cease being problems and start a new existence as paint for the air. "And that's got me a bit more nervous than these things as the last thing we want is zombies forming right in the middle of our formation." As she said this she swung her blade up, to the left, right, and turned around to perform a wide sweeping slash that count down two more of the scuttling ball sack. "Okay. So I'm starting to feel more certain its not just me. More of these things are getting through."

Abigail opened her mouth to say more, but paused. Something was coming. She was sure it was one of the invading entities, but different. There were two of them, and they were coming in fast. She was sure it was an alien because of the same ferociousness she was feeling through the rest of the enemies around them. What was odd was she wasn't getting the hunger out of them. It was like the two didn't have any desire to eat at all. All they wanted was to get close. Frowning, she paused to see something new emerge from the darkness. They were green which she figured wasn't going to change from the various forms of the alien species. They had legs belonging to something that was bipedal before. It was the shoes that gave it away. However, they somehow managed to be even more alien than the pure flood spores. Above the waist there was a big throbbing sack.

With a single mindedness that characterized the species they rushed into stream of fire. When they got a few feet, they exploded, releasing dozens of the little green bulbs of slaughter directly over the storm trooper's front line..
@Lmpkio
Without passion, Abigail watched the miniature demon turtle hurry off towards the cells where his siblings were likely being held. The little guy seemed more frustrated about the change in his plans than she had anticipated, but with his forces and the fact that whatever was going on wasn't likely to be able to pierce his thick hide, she was sure he'd be okay. It was the goomba forces he controlled she was... not exactly worried about, but less certain they'd make it out alive.

With a shrug, she turned her attention back to the man in charge of the imperial forces. As he spoke she noted a smugness about him she wasn't a fan of, but she decided to let it past, as the circumstances weren't right for a personal vandetta. Besides, she was going to, in all likely hood, need a ride when everything was over, and the man was her best bet. So with a smile, and bow of her head, she stepped aside to allow the infantry with flamethrowers to go by, into the room, where the target as well as the monsters waited.

Abigail, walking behind the storm troopers with flame throwers, entered a large tunnel, with high ceilings. There were various posters on the walls, with pictures of things everyone should want. Even in space, where nobody could hear you scream, everyone wanted to shuck their wares. Occasionally, off in the distance, a terrified scream could be heard, but that was rare as most sounds were drowned out by the various weapon fire, which seemed to come through the vents almost as much as the actual air.

The sounds were distracting at first, but with a little bit of effort she was able to drawn them out. What she couldn't turn off was her sense of haki that covered a 45 meter radius from where she was standing. It was this that unnerved her. She could feel hostile life flowing from nearly every direction. Most of it was gathered around other living personal. She could also feel the feelings and intents. From the strange creatures all she could feel was anger and hunger like a zombie plague, and every other life form near them radiated almost nothing but complete terror.

They were close to, wherever they were. She could feel them scurrying along the walls, ceiling above them and even under their feet, and all they felt was hunger. Then, she noticed something else slip into her radar just as the lights began flickering. "They're coming" The woman in red, said with a surprising calm as she was no stranger to battle and preferred it over the cat and mouse game. "And they're hungry" Just as she spoke several large, green and brown entities, shaped like men that belonged in another world, rushed around a corner, raising hands with long, brutal tendrils, to bear down the storm troopers at the lead.

"Those aren't the problem" Abigail's eyes moved towards the vent openings which ran along the halls. There were loud pops from the vents on both sides of the advancing party. Green mist sprayed from the vents, which were only capable of holding on for a few more seconds before a tide of green, and brown bulbous creatures starting pouring out. These are the problems Abigail said as she drew her blade, which promptly turned the color of obsidian.

Testing to see how the formatting is...
Also need to pick out which sniper and shotgun she'll be using.
So feel free to make a suggestion ^.^;

Edit
A life support suit would probably be a good idea too since Jasper never knows what she's getting into when she jumps.

@Juicy

I'm not comfortable w/ joining Discords for roleplays, so I myself wouldn't join it if it were even made.

If you're disappointed in the pacing, guys, you're free to take the initiative and improve it. There's a lot of standing around and reflecting on nothing so far, really. I'd expect some indulgent action in a RP like this, right? Go kill some zomboys.

That is true, and normally, I'd be all for that, but it feels kind of wrong doing it against the flood since Legion specifically created it as his character. Although, maybe, so long as we don't attack the actual leader it wouldn't be a problem?
I've been thinking, maybe things would move a bit quicker, or smoother, if we had a discord for this?
@Legion-114
Juliet paused for a moment after the captain's dismissal, wondering if going about daily concerns in a possible moment of crises was a good idea. AFter all, there had definitely been disappearances, and it was entirely possible that a hollow or crazed shinigami was involved. Besides, if nothing else, further investigation would help to call down everyone's nerves and improve their job performances. On the other hand, if there was truly a murdering going around, the swifter he was caught, the better. She continued on this line of inquiry for a few more minutes before coming to the conclusion that there was no reason to appoint at least a small group of shinigami to look into the matter. By then, however, it was too late for her to speak with her captain about her worries. She could always go looking for him, true, but disobeying a higher up could throw things into chaos in its own way.

With a sigh, she put her hands behind her back and returned to her barracks. Which she got there, the assignment was waiting for her just as the captain had promised. Hers, was sentry duty, nearby the area of the last disappearance. "Hmmm." Juliet mumbled, rubbing her chin. Perhaps her captain was more concerned with the situation than he led on? Of course, the captain commander could've outright dismissed his request to probe the situation, but that didn't mean he wasn't allowed to assign his own squad to keep guard over the area.
