Firstly role call, some of you I haven't seen in quite awhile.

Secondly I don't feel like I'm doing a very good job as GM. The concept for this Roleplay has a lot of potential but I feel as though I'm not executing it particularly well I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions as to what I could be doing better, differently or should stop doing. Do try to be polite about it but don't worry about hurting my feelings, I'm just trying to figure out a way to get this working as I feel the RP is starting to fail.

I'm still here, just waiting on a post from @Lmpkio or @Royzooka. Not that I'd be able to respond until Sunday; I'm out of town.

As for what you did or are doing wrong, I can only provide conjecture. Maybe it was you insistence on realism? Maybe it was splitting the groups up from the start? I'm having a good time with the Kaiser, but I'm not sure about Red. I don't feel like she has a character who she can have interesting interactions with. But yeah, I'm not sure but with Denys I think this is going well.
I just realized how many dead moms there are. We must have a bit of a morbid streak here.
Mary - Fortuna

Mary walked in silence to the center of the city with her new partner. Originally, Mary was planning on taking a trip to the Undersky, although she wasn't looking forward to it. Lily and Fenn were there, so she jumped at the chance to do something else. According to the watcher she had sent off to tell the Order to send the soul off to Regalia, something was happening in Fortuna. A couple of the other watchers took interest too, so she was able to transfer over and deal with this instead. There was also the secondary benefit that she would be able to pick up her weapon while she was here, and after everything was done, maybe visit Hunter.

Looking over to her ally, Mary noticed she was being stared at. The DHO member seemed to want to study her, looking her over, seeing how she was reacting. Something about it was a bit unsettling. She was about to tell the woman to stop, but as they neared Nero, she introduced herself. Mary curtsied, and said, "Yes, I'm Mary. Could you please stop staring at me?"

Kosara didn't get a chance to respond, as the two were interrupted by Nero's amazing display of skill. He blew through the demons at the gate with a blinding speed, amazing strength, and impressive skill. After that, Nero caught them up fully on the situation. He and the Order knights were staking out at the church, but somebody needed to shut the gates, and someone else needed to stop the gang that was opening them in the first place. Nero also said he was glad too see her. That was nice.

Kosara took off, being odd all the while, and even revealing her Devil Trigger. So she was a half demon? That would explain her gleeful attitude to murder. As the woman left, Mary sighed in relief. Now she could talk to Nero. "It's also very nice to see you, Nero. I'll take care of the gates, which one do you recommend I tackle first? Also, that new weapon, would it happen to be here?" She asked. She was also curious as to if Hunter was in the church himself or if he had evacuated, but that could wait for later. She had the people of Fortuna to protect.
@Pathfinder @Delta44 Two new characters? And one of them's the Bandit Leader? It must be my lucky day! So far, One Eye is looking good, though for Addison I would like a bit more info in the backstory. Also, very clever to incorporate the slash in Prince/Princess!
Milo growled as, again, Nick stood their, befuddled in some manner. Though this man discerned Milo was a vampire immediately, he couldn't seem to even grasp what was happening. He didn't even glance at the 「Heart Of Glass」, just in its general direction. Could he not see it? He wielded that special power, but... something didn't add up. None of this was making any sense, and Milo hated not knowing things! He would get to the bottom of this.

Nick interrupted Milo's train of thought, denying his command and insisting Milo had attempted to sneak zombies into the warehouse. A poor theory. Firstly, minions created loose ends. It was always Milo's policy to knock someone unconscious before draining them of some of their blood. No dead bodies piling up, no zombies that could wander out of the house. Besides, such an odd plan would never work. Nick would obviously notice something was amiss, or one of his lackeys. That didn't stop the Kaiser Chief from bolting from the warehouse and hopping out a window.

Milo huffed, before re equipping himself with his trenchcoat and gloves, and following the gang leader out through the window. The two of them were greeted with flaming trash, a horrible stench that filled the alley. Milo quickly disabled his own nose, before investigating his surroundings. Nick was standing there, near Milo, and opposite of them was a common man, albeit one with horrible fashion sense. In between the all of them was a young man with a mohawk, and hovering to his side, was a Stand.

It was a mechanical looking thing, gears and sprockets evident from the small breaks in it's metal shell. Peering through 「HEART OF GLASS」 confirmed the punk looking man was, indeed, the owner. Milo decided that the man could be useful, and waited to see his abilities. Something still bothered him though, so he asked Nick a question. "Do you see that robotic creature hovering by that punk?"
@Kafka Komedy

By Unnatural healing I mean prolonging his own life. As for the mercenary Idea, I was thinking more a Merchant guard than a soldier for hire. Not in it for the money but prefers to get payed.

Ah. In that case, go for either of the ideas, though prolonging his own life isnt super taboo.
@BCTheEntity Yeah put him in there. @Footman Can do the same.
EDIT: Right, Sardiel's finally complete. Take a look, see if he's any good, etcetera. To everyone else, I might propose you take a look at the latter part of Sardiel's biography, as some people could implement some aspects of that into their own characters.

Certainly seems good to me!

What do you mean by the Glanz Empire is almost corrupt?
Why are they trying to overthrow the Perinne nobles?

Almost corrupt as in, there are quite a few bad apples in the ranks looking to cause destruction, looking for money, or simply not good people. Even then, the good people are very willing to do whatever it takes to instate a new Glanz aristocracy, murder, occultism, thievery, necromancy, all on the table. Still, their cause is noble, or at least started out as such.

The reason the rebellion started was for a few reasons, firstly the large amount of elven nobles, largely pushing other races out of the political system. Secondly, the King, who has been lying to his people for about 2000 years, and makes many decisions without thinking of the public's short term situation. There are probably a few other reasons one might personally join the rebellion as well, like a lack of money or a political voice.
Hrm thinking of joining, either as a deformed Lapis user studying the effects of Lapis, or an armorbound mercenary mageknight who got dragged into the war and just wants it to end.

Are the deformities usually survivable? or would someone surviving being born with lapis deformities be unusual.

Orrr mayby I could play a once legendary healer, who cured a disease that threatened the kingdom, but people turned on him years ago for forms of healing they believed to be unnatural and the healer is now believed to be some kind of evil necromancer. But he still hasnt quite gotten the reanimate the dead thing down yet, Hes trying though.

I would prefer no mercenaries, we've got spots to fill, after all, and we already have one merc. If he's adamant about the war ending first and foremost, might I suggest the thieves guild? As for the Lapi mutations, the deformities usually kill, but it's not entirely unheard of for one to survive.

I do like the healer idea a bit, but what do you mean like unnatural healing?
