Name: Beri Anne Garrison

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Canon: God Eater 2 Rage Burst (Main Character OC)

Main Thread or Sandbox: Sandbox

Starting Location (SANDBOX ONLY): Gotham

Personality:

An overall stubborn, hard headed woman, who became a God Eater to make a living for herself. Despite this, Beri is seen as a kind and overall gentle person, always attempting to look out for her team. Beri is also a woman who finds humor in almost any situation to the point of being overly sarcastic despite not meaning to.

Beri is also an emotionally charged woman, giving into her emotions even in the midst of battle. During her encounter with the revived Rachel Claudius in the Spiral Tree, Beri attacked her without hesitation--wanting her gone after what she did to her superior and former Captain, Julius. In combat, Beri is reckless, charging in with little to no plan, which ends up with her being incapacitated most of the fight and having her companions help her up, despite being the leader of her squad. Despite this, Beri is a fighter who doesn't know when to back down, even if it costs her own life. Beri is known to cuss a lot during combat.

Equipment:

God Arc ~ Beri’s own personal weapon. A God Arc is essentially a living, non sentient weapon. It can only be held by its wielder. Anyone else, and they’ll get a veinful of Oracle Cells rejecting them--which would lead to infection, and mutation into an Aragami. Beri’s God Arc is a Buster Blade, a large sword which can increase and decrease its length by either retracting the blade onto itself, or by initiating a Charge Crush, which condenses Oracle Cells around the God Arc, creating a slightly longer blade. Its sides can enlarge into a shield, which, well, shields Beri from attacks.

A God Arc can transform from a Melee weapon to a Ranged Weapon. Beri's ranged weapon is the Blast Gun, which specializes in explosives. Using Oracle Cells, Beri can load her weapon to fire 6 types of bullets. Normal type, which has no attributes. Healing Bullets, which heals and/or repairs allies. Divine, Fire, Ice, and Spark, which are elemental bullets.

Bias Factor Kit ~ A Kit of Bias Factors. Allows God Eaters like Beri to keep functioning without becoming infected themselves. These Bias Factors are usually injected directly onto their bracelets. God Eaters need this to survive.

Attributes:

God Eater Physiology ~ As a God Eater, Beri is someone that’s...Sort of human. A God Eater is essentially one that’s been injected with Oracle Cells to wield a God Arc. Oracle Cells are destructive cells that devour just about anything--like a living nanomite built to demolish, but on a more biological scale. Beri comes from a world where Oracle Cells are able to be researched and weaponized. In anycase, as a God Eater, Beri is granted enhanced jumping ability, strength to lift her God Arc, and of course, enhanced durability.

Blood Rage ~ As the only God Eater outfitted with Resonance Control, Beri is able to become completely invincible and enhance their strength and speed tenfold. However, it doesn’t last very long as Blood Rage only has 2 minutes of active time.(3 to 5 posts tops), and it causes Beri to become berserk. It’s time limit can apparently be increased depending on Beri’s emotional state. Beri had reportedly gone Blood Rage for over 5 minutes when one of her ‘students’, Kanon Daiba became injured during a large scale defense operation and went unconscious. Beri activated Blood Rage in an instant without initiating Resonance Control and annihilated her targets that day and went off to ensure Kanon’s survival before passing out herself.

Evoke ~ Beri’s Blood Power. Constantly active, it allows Beri to essentially unlock latent abilities hidden within one’s God Arc by communicating with its oracle cells. Evoke may also work for other powered individuals by inciting a subtle reaction that would lead to unlocking a new power..

Biography:

Beri enlisted as a God Eater, with the potential to become a Blood member and wield a 3rd generation God Arc. After passing the test s/he is admitted to the Blood unit for the potential of their dormant "Power of Blood" joining at the same moment as Nana Kozuki. After gaining experience as God Eater and become more acquainted with fellow Blood members Julius and Romeo, during a mission Beri is assaulted by an aragami known as Marduk, she awakens her blood power while scarring its left eye, which earns them the position of vice-captain. Beri's Blood Power is to evoke the usage of dormant powers in others, especially non-Blood members, and the ability to amplify power of will. After being appointed as vice-captain, she becomes friends with Blood's newcomer Ciel Alencon at her request. When finding that Ciel was in danger during a mission, she decided to ignore orders, climbing into a God Arc Soldier to save thier friend. This results in her getting locked up for disobeying orders, for an unknown amount of time.

When moved to the Far East Branch, Beri meets many new God Eaters, helps taking down psions and helps their fellow Blood member with some of their own personal struggles. The poeple of the Far East Branch also mentioned how she acts very similar to a certain person they know. After the Romeo's death and Julius' depart from the Blood Team, she becomes the new captain at Julius request. They hear the truth of the current happenings at Friar from Leah, she along with their fellow Blood members, Yuno and other God Eater situated at the Far East at the time, decided to stop Rachel's plans and save Julius. Reaching Friar they were too late as Julius already became a singularity and the however she uses their evoke blood power to amplify with yuno's song to counter Julius' singularity power. They manage to avert the devouring apocalypse but fail in retrieving Julius. They continue to work with their remaining Blood colleagues in the fight against the aragami and protect the Spiral Tree where Juulius resides in.

Some time has passed since the fight against the Singularity, when oned day the Far East is visited by Isaac Feldman and his subordinate Livie who temporarily joins Blood to investigate the current situation of the Spiral Tree which had been contaminated. During this time Licca was able to develop a unique ability known as Blood Rage which serves as a power-up during battle and only Beri can able to use. Blood, along with a few members of Cradle and Units from the Far East Branch all took part in the later investigations that would take place, until Blood found that the cause of all the issues as Rachel. In a last effort to stop her Blood heads into the spiral tree in a last effort to stop her. They manage to defeat her, but Rachel is able to restrain the team and heads to Julius to begin the devouring apocalypse. With sheer determination Beri breaks free of Rachel's control and rescues Julius taking down Rachel before she starts the devouring apocalypse.

An awakened Julius apologises for his mistakes, when the protagonist reasurres him that he's not alone and that blood including Romeo will alwyas be together. To stop the apocalypse, everyone uses their blood power to amplify Romeo's with Beri's, using her Rage Burst ability to strengthen it managing to not stop it, but slow down the apocalypse and prevent the destruction of the world. Because of this Blood also lost their armlet's becoming humans again, though with a choice to become God Eaters once more. After a talk with her colleagues Blood, everyone concluded that they all still wish to become God Eaters once more as Beri leads a newly Blood, with the return of Romeo, Julius and a permanent inclusion of Livie.

Months later, Beri passes on leadership to Romeo and joins Cradle, where she bounces from Satellite Base to Satellite Base as a guard.

Other: Beri is under a constant time limit. If she doesn’t take a Bias Factor to keep her Oracle Cells in check, an Aragami infection will occur, which will gradually transform her into an Aragmi. There were rare cases where the Aragmi Infection didn't fully transform her into a monster, but that is mostly up to chance.

Before Sougo could even ask what Luthor meant by his answer, the room darkened, with the sole light being a holographic image emitted from the table. Sougo had seen this sort of tech before--it's from the future! At least, on his world it would be.

Finally, Luthor revealed their location; Metropolis. Sougo hadn't heard of such a place before, which confirmed his suspicions that he was indeed in another world. Insert Onore Decado joke here. In anycase, it seems that this city, Metropolis, had an alien protector--Superman of Krypton. From the video, it seems that he can fly. Not to mention...His strength. Brutally demonstrated as him flying through buildings, lasers beaming out of his eyes, melting mere innocents--misusing the strength to kill, not save. This made Sougo a bit uncomfortable.

It reminded him too much of his future self, Ohma. Revered as a hero by some, yet at the same time, cruel and tyrannical in nature.

As the lights turned back on, Luthor had a face full of someone's fist. An angry father, demanding an explanation as to why he and his daughter were dragged into a seemingly unwinnable fight. By the looks of things, yes, he is strong. But judging by Luthor's ways...He may have found a way to defeat him.

Luthor then explained that with the Justice League busy on another planet, he needed to drag people in. His explanation was sound...But something about this whole situation feels off. As Fret was panicking about making everyone calm for now, Sougo felt something pierce through his head--a migraine, as images of costumed heroes flashed through his mind. Sougo's Retrocognition activated again without his consent, allowing him to see glimpses into Superman's past. These memories...Were of Superman working with the League.

"Nngh..." Sougo groaned, rubbing his temple. A side effect of this ability which activated on fate's whims. Sougo couldn't master this ability, as he didn't even know what triggered it in the first place. He wasn't sure if what he saw is true, but...He might as well ask. "H...How do we know the League wouldn't come to his aid during all this?" Sougo asked, raising a hand. "I, uh...Had a vision that this Superman had deep ties with the Justice League, and was wondering if that's gonna be a problem if we don't manage to finish this in time."

So they're here to take care of something for him? Seems...Strange to drag away a group of powered misfits just for a hit. Although it might be worrisome enough that maybe Sougo should hear him out--that's what a King would do, I think.

"Um..." Sougo raised his hand, as if to ask a question. "What exactly do you want us to take care of, exactly?" Sougo asks, "If you have to gather this many for just one 'bounty', it sounds like it'll be extremely dangerous. Not that anything isn't, really..." He wanted to know why they were gathered. Listening in from the others, it seems they were meticulously selected only by combat standards, but by other standards as well. This made him glance at Fret--who had sat beside him. At first glance, Tousai Furesawa seems like an ordinary, popular kid. Stylish hair, piercings, trendy clothes...It's hard to imagine that he'll be a part of the combat standard.

Then again, his personality suggests otherwise. While amiable and friendly, Tousai's hardheaded--much like a friend of him, Geiz...Tousai already saw one of his weapons, the Faizphone X, when he saved him from getting hit by The Delinquent. Even then, Sougo believed that it's still far too early to show off his actual gear. Meaning, it's still too early to pry on what Tousai can do, exactly.

Penny, meanwhile, overheard that a fellow robot had attempted to make a connection to this area's network, which, Penny didn't even know it had. She couldn't connect to any of Atlas' networks before, nor can she seem to contact anyone she knows. Still, Penny herself can't exactly view anything other than messages and video files. Surfing the Internet is a new concept to her.

Penny stands beside the couch as she listens in to what was essentially a briefing, wondering the reason for her abduction.

As much as Sougo wouldn't want to admit, the Delinquent, while in direct bladepoint from the bichromal man he spoke to first, raised a good point. If Luthor didn't want them all dying, then why would he even bring them here in the first place?

Before Sougo could truly give his thoughts, a woman clad in what seems to be a one piece dress coat complete with a military cap one would see in nazi cosplays appeared in front of the cage yet again. Her gaze...Was terrifying, but felt rather homey to the bizarre King of Time. It reminded him of Tsukuyomi, who used to glare at him that way when they first met.

Honestly, this whole situation felt a tad nostalgic with Sougo's memories intact.

In anycase, the woman held a remote, pressing a button which opened a door in front of the cage--their freedom, with the reminder that Luthor is about to meet them. Seems rather formal. Sougo can't help but feel as if he's about to meet the Principal--despite not doing anything except maybe failing algebra a couple of times. He walked along with Fret, whom he trusts as his friend for now.

"It seems it's time, sir." Penny spoke to Gaara, whom she briefly conversed. She gave a courteous bow, "I'm afraid I must proceed. Farewell." She said, rather awkwardly. Usually Ruby...No, Ruby would've fumbled that conversation as well. Penny was just more awkward. A lot has been going through the android's mind. From the fact that she's now the Winter Maiden, to Salem's sudden appearance, to...Well, her being ousted from the Atlas Military due to becoming the Maiden instead of Winter Schnee. She's still processing all of this, it seems.

As she walked towards the opened elevator, Penny bumped into a brown haired man clad in a simple shirt and brown slacks--topped with a pink cardigan coat. Sougo Tokiwa, who was walking along with his newfound allies.

"Oh, sorry!" Penny apologized as Sougo winced, rubbing his shoulder. Somehow, he felt as if something incredibly hard had bumped into him--like a bat of some kind. "I wasn't looking where I was going."

"It's fine." Sougo nodded, chuckling a bit. "This day has been weird for all of us." He said, as Penny walked alongside Sougo and his friend.

There was very little time to converse though, as they reached the top floor in mere moments, granting them entry to what seems to be a fancy looking office. Sitting on the desk across the elevator entrance was a bald man with a stern glare, yet his voice was oddly...Calm. He's like a business man, judging by the suit and tie he sported, as well as his nigh stone faced demeanor, fingers interlocking.

This man introduced himself as Lex Luthor--the man who brought them here.

Sougo cautiously stepped forth, eyes glancing all over this fancy room. The air is heavy here. It could be cut open with a knife--probably due to the prior scuffle between most of them, but rather...It's Luthor. For a businessman, he seems to know how Multiverses works--and managed to drag them onto this one. Not to mention, he'd captured some improbable individuals--almost as if he's forming an army of some kind. It didn't take long for Sougo to piece together that Luthor holds a vast networth and, true to corruption in its core, holds great power over...Wherever this is.

Sougo slowly sat on the couch nearby, seeing as this is one of those situations where the people he's meeting are supposed to sit on the couch...Although there's way too many people for this couch.

Listening to the Delinquent's status, it seems that he's fine--save for the fact that appearently, there's a feud going on at the opposite side of the cage, caused by some metal person. A robot? Sougo hasn't seen one of those in a good while.

"Yeah, that's me. Good thing I remembered it can do that, too. I didn't wanna resort to using something lethal to innocents...Which hardly describes you, I guess." Sougo sighs as he got up, letting out a nervous chuckle as he is asked by the Delinquent if he was the one who shot him. Before he could answer and say that he's forgiven though, Fret stepped in this time, stepping between the two. Oh dear. "H-hey, he's not threatening us this time, Tousai-kun. I'm pretty sure he's the victim here." Sougo tried to calm Fret down and hopefully not escalate the situation any further.

Sougo's curiosity made him glance to where the Delinquent was thrown from. There were a LOT of people in armor, but one of them stood out the most--a silver robot with glowing red features. It appeared like a bulky skeleton, with horns on the side of its head--like a demon of some kind. People are gathering around him, and it seems like he's making quite a stir. "Geez...He looks like a comic book villain, that guy." Sougo says, "Is he the one who threw you?" He asked, wanting to both steer away from trouble for now, and of course, prepare himself for it.

Sougo...Probably shouldn't have mentioned him, huh? It kinda sounds like Mr. Pirate and Luthor knew each other. Vaguely, sure, but knew each other nonetheless. Although the sentiment wasn't shared by the pirate, who wanted to strangle Luthor.

Yeesh.

After gesturing wrapping his hands around Luthor's would be neck on the air, he then answered Sougo's pretty much basic query...Until he was suddenly hit by an incoming projectile of a man!

"WAAAGH!" Sougo yelped as he hit, causing him to fall onto the ground, with the Delinquent from before ontop of him--Somehow, he's been tossed by...Something! Sougo didn't get a good look. In fact, Sougo didn't even touch the Zi-O II watch to check for incoming threats. He really thought he was safe, was he?

"A-are you...Alright...?" Sougo groaned, asking the Delinquent if he wasn't harmed.

Hearing Fret and the old man dressed like a pirate's answer, Sougo felt as if everyone here had the same experience. Maybe that was the method of their transport? Blacking out then winding up in the cage? However Luthor did it, Sougo was nothing more than impressed.

He didn't even sense any danger the time being.

"Yeah, that is strange." Sougo responded, rubbing his chin. "Maybe we'd have to take this to this Luthor guy after all." He sighed in defeat, having run out of ideas as to how nor why. Dimensional travel isn't exactly his forte--that's Tsukasa's area of expertise. But at least we know that Luthor knows about other worlds, too.

Troublesome? Maybe. At the very least, he's kind enough to let them live.

For now...They wait. Sougo approached one the pirate who answered his query before, deciding to talk to him for the time being while Fret went to speak with Dris--the rat person who helped him take down the Delinquent. Speaking of which, it doesn't look like he'll be of any concern. After taking his bat from the puppet man, The Delinquent retreated to a corner, satisfied with himself and his bat--whom he overheard was apparently female. Regardless, Sougo might as well talk to some people.

"So I know you probably get this a lot, but..." Sougo started, his hands inside the pockets of his cardigans. "How long were you at sea for? You look like you've spent your entire lifetime hunting treasure." He said honestly, and with a tinge of excitement--almost like a child fantasizing of a pirate's voyages, pillaging treasure and sailing on large ships.

Don't apologize for defending someone...Huh?

"Yeah. I'll try and keep that in mind." Sougo chuckled a bit, although he felt as if it was a lesson he was supposed to have learnt long ago. From his encounters with past Riders, it's a Rider's duty is to defend someone's life--so is the duty of a kind, and noble King, to defend his subjects. That's just the way he's supposed to treat everyone. So if someone tries to hurt someone else...I suppose it's natural to just come to their defense. Regardless, he nodded at Tousai's reminder. As the amiable teen spoke with the mouse, Sougo glanced around the glass the cage they're in once more.

More and more people are waking up, it seems. And Sougo's learnt just about nothing. If Geiz were here, he would've tried to break out of the cage already, though as demonstrated by the Delinquent's body falling on the glass walls--it's tough.

"Just a thought, but...What do you all remember before waking up here?" Sougo asked Fret and whoever else can hear him. "I remember just falling over in pain while heading back from an errand on my bike."

"Thank you, Tsukuyomi." Sougo mumbled, sighing as the man downed by his laser. Pocketing the phone-beam on his cardigan as an older man, clad in blue and wearing a scarf, witnessed the entire thing, asked if they should keep things friendly...At least, that's what the words he said meant, right? Big words like that aren't Sougo's forte. "Sorry about that. He was gonna hurt my friend and I had to stop him before he did." Sougo apologized for acting quickly, despite not being the aggressor in this conflict. Sougo rubbed the back of his neck as said man introduced himself as Hershel.

"I'm Sougo. Tokiwa Sougo." The King of Time introduced himself to Hershel, just as Negan got back up. This surprised Sougo--he was sure that it took quite a while before someone who's hit by the stun beam regained consciousness but...Well, this situation itself was already weird as is. Sougo decided to stay quiet and watch as Negan walked over to a little white faced puppet in a black suit, asking for his weapon back.

Maybe there was something stopping them from turning unconscious...? Sougo pondered this as he watched, learning more than he thought he would. As if remembering something he forgot, Sougo turned to Tousai, whom he just kinda shoved out of the way to stun Negan.

"Are you alright, Tousai-kun?" Sougo asked, wondering if he pushed him a little too hard.

Seeing everything that happened in Zi-O II's Precognition, Sougo immediately prepared to intervene on Negan's feint strike--a cowardly move, but a rather effective one! As Negan grogilly backed off, Sougo pulled Tousai aside and took out what appears to be a weird looking flip phone, aiming it right as Negan raised his bat--firing a laser out of it!

Faiz Phone X
Untransformed Stun Mode

The laser would stun Negan with a red stop sign, and if what he learnt from Tsukuyomi's demonstration on him during their first meeting--this should cause him to drop the bat or go unconscious.
