Well I don't know what to do. The conversation with the captain accomplished nothing.

Roxy didn't know what to think of the card. It wasn't what she expect. It wasn't the first time someone had told her she needed counseling. She didn't completely disagree. She had see the good counseling could do. And she was sure that it would help. Just not in the ways that Jess needed. The empath needed to feel safe and that wasn't something any counselor on the planet would be able to give her.

She picked up the card. She studied the name. It wasn't one she knew. Which meant she would have to look into the counselor before going. Not that going would do them any good but it would make Jess's mom feel like she was helping. Or at least doing as much as she could. "We will talk about it." She didn't think flat out refusing would do them any good. Jess's mom would just keep pushing. It was better to act like considering her advice even if they both knew it would do any good.

When they snapped them again a buffet appeared at the far end of the room. It had a large variety of food. "If there is something you want but do not see let us know and we will see if we can get it for you."

Roxy finished the stake she had been eating and licked her fingers. "Another bird and a bear. How interesting. Definitely criminal types. Looks like you two goody goodys are out numbered. I suppose it's easier to convince people with little choice to volunteer for this crazy experiment." She commented as she made her way to the door. She looked up and down the hall. She was curious how much freedom they actually had now.

A was sent to the captain's office as soon as he walked into the bureau's doors. He knew that meant they had a witness in a gang case. He was considered the agency's local agent. He knew more about the Chicago gangs than anyone else in the department because he had grown up in one. A wasn't proud of his knowledge but he would use it to help others. He only hoped it was a witness not some scumbag looking for immunity. He hated when he had to protect the guilty.

He nodded at agents as he passed their desks. He didn't know any of them well. Despite being assigned to this department as soon as he graduated A barely knew anyone in the department. He kept to himself. He had never been much of a people person. WHich came in handy when he was protecting a witness. Once he reached the captain's office A opened the door and stepped inside to see what the day would hold.
