"Most things in life take some getting used to." Roxy as she drive into town. She drove past the residential area. This was where the middle class lived. She thought of all the secrets the walls hide. After they passed through the residential area they reached the business district. Her shop/home was right at the edge of the business district. She pulled up to a brick building. She parked behind the shop.

"I live above the shop. It's not much." She warned a she turned off the van and climbed out. She relaxed almost instantly. She was home. This was her territory. She knew the rules here. Here she knew her place. She headed up the stairs to the door that lead to the apartment above the shop.she was glad the place had two bedrooms so that they could have a little bit of privacy. She had a feeling they were going to need it.

A had been sent to Earth to seek a cure. According to the researchers Earth had a herb that was essential to creating the cure for the illness that was killing so many. He had no idea how they could know that when they had no way of testing the herb but he wasn't a scientist so maybe there was a way for them to be certain this was thing they needed to cure people. Since he was one of their strongest he had the best odds of surviving on a strange planet.

He studied Earth as he started the landing process. The scientist had gathered some information on the world. They warned him it was most of it would be outdated since it took hundreds of years for them to get anything from the small planet. He searched for a place with no people to land. He figured he would avoid humans as much as possible just to keep things simple.
