"Really Kristin? Miss Perfect is okay with stealing a car? Well, the world really has turned upside down hasn't it?" He shifted his pack, getting used to the weight of carrying something again. "And I think flashy is a bad idea. We don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves. Let's just worry about getting to Manhattan first." Ezekiel started to walk forward, heading to the Big House so they could wrangle up Argus and get the heck out of dodge. Ezekiel was excited to leave camp, if not a bit nervous. He had never been to Texas before and he had never been on a quest for his father directly before. There was a lot of weight on his shoulders.
"So what kind of music do you two listen too? It's going to be a long drive, hopefully we have similar tastes."

Location: 3G -- Camp Half-Blood

As they walked through the trees, virtually undetected, Ezekiel would raise the bow up every once in awhile to sight something he saw moving or just to give pause to everything else he was doing so he could completely focus on one thing. Other than birds and distant shouting, Ezekiel didn’t see or hear much of anything. It was as much of a relief as it was boring. He looked over at Bryan when he mentioned the prophecy and he smirked.
”I wonder sometimes if Rosie just gets bored in that cave and makes things up. ‘A world of darkness shall bring all of the Gods to their knees…’ Really? That is highly unlikely. Our father is the literal Sun God. If there is going to be a world of darkness it's because he forgot to turn the light back on. Hades is virtually caged up so I don’t see him turning the world to darkness. The whole prophecy thing is stupid and I don’t see why it is our problem to worry about.” As much as Ezekiel had this unyielding need to prove himself, he sure didn’t like having to fight the battles of others. He didn’t ask for this life but he did like being at camp. It’s why he was full-time from nearly the beginning. This was his home and he would protect his home but he didn’t care about the rest of it. No one else ever did.

Antoinette watched as her friend raced off after telling her to head towards the Palace. It would have been a great idea but Antoinette was now in-between Prince Flynn and the King of the world and she was still trying to process the fact that he was actually a bad person. Not to mention, the yelling and the constant ring of gunfire going on around her. It was enough to push any non-combative person into the fetal position but Antoinette remained standing, too shocked to do anything else. Her eyes continued to flare in colour, her vision along with it and she was starting to feel the beginnings of a headache from the overstimulation.
Her intuition was going haywire as she was hit with sensation after sensation of something terrible and awful going on. It was obvious to see, it was going on all around but it wouldn’t shut off. And then out of the corner of her eye she saw a little penguin, flapping its wings and squawking at her. She seemed to relax a moment but then her vision shifted and it was covered in blood and seemingly falling apart in front of her eyes. It stumbled towards her then turned and headed for Magneto. It reached out, calling to him before it completely disintegrated. Antoinette stared in horror at what her mind had created but then the debris started to shift until a great bird rose up. It seemed to be on fire as it fanned out its wings and looked at Antoinette. The Phoenix cried out before launching itself into the sky and disappeared.
As if it couldn’t get any more weird than a disintegrating penguin then random phoenix. Antoinette’s head was pounding, her eyes still flaring when she turned away from the King and looked at Flynn. She didn’t know why but that strange illusion brought up Wanda for her and she was suddenly very concerned. ”Where is your sister?” Formality was completely thrown out the window and Antoinette was normally very good at remaining formal.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Port The Port ---> The Palace Boat Launch -- The Castle

Cuyler’s attention was split between the overpowering Magykal presence he could still detect and the squabbling behind him. He was grateful to see the royals, it was almost a relief seeing someone from his old life. He felt he should correct Halley on who the actual Princess was but it would prove useless. She didn’t really care and they didn’t really have the time to go through the royal’s family history.
”I think we should move on,” he said, unaware that the dragon boat had risen once again. Cuyler was worried they were starting to draw attention to themselves and how could they not. A giant fireball, followed by the landing and take off of a giant dragon as a boat? It was bound to be somewhat alarming. Even in a place with unique traffic as the Port. Cuyler looked up, seeing shadow and watched the dragon boat fly away. He remembered the spinning axe and frowned. It was pointing to them at one point. Perhaps they knew of some information that would help them on this quest. Of course it was too late to ask now.
”Do you feel that Magyk?” He directed his question to Halley as he moved closer to them. Thia remained in her position as outside guard.

Titan stared in disbelief as his sword was transformed into hundreds of butterflies. What on earth? What was he to do now! That witch! Titan glared at the strange woman, infuriated but he was quickly scooped and unable to retaliate. A noise squeaked out of him from being suspended over thin air as they were transported back to the Palace. He saw water rapidly approaching and had the good sense to take a deep breath before plummeting into the water. He swam out from under the boat and hoisted himself up onto the dock. He was wet and a bit miserable. He liked that sword. It had been a gift.

Lennox bowed his head to Bruce before he nodded. “That would be excellent, thank you. Would you mind reaching out and seeing if you could locate the Queen and Princess as well. They may be inside that room as well or somewhere else within the Palace,” Lennox explained. Of course, if Bruce didn’t detected the Prince inside, there was probably no one with in the Queen’s Room. Odd, that would be the best place for them to be.

”Well if you’re offering,” she said with a smirk and fell into step beside Gypsy. Perhaps Amarantha had gone a bit soft, having moved up in ranks and staying within the Palace walls. After all, she did let Vampires into her home and who knew how long they had been here casing the place. After all, she had seen this woman within the market a week or so ago. It could have been even longer and she didn’t even know. ”You can call me Viper,” Amarantha said simply. She wasn’t about to give her real name out, that could come later if it had to and Amarantha didn’t all out care if Gypsy believed her or not on this one. A name was a name and sometimes they changed like the tide.
They made it outside and Amarantha shifted, looking over at the barracks when Gypsy mentioned having a snack. She bristled but relaxed her face and looked over at her new, temporary friend. ”Seems a bit much. I don’t think we need to stop here, how about within town?” Amarantha leaned heavily on her words, hoping to convince her otherwise but it fell through like a rock through tissue paper.
“Nah, we got's to finish the job luv,” Gypsy simply responded. Amarantha looked towards the barracks. She had two options. Take out Gypsy now and lose her only lead or follow the crazed Vampire and kill a few people before getting away or being killed.
”Well we best get started then,” Amarantha said and walked forward. Puck had a saying, the good of the few outweigh the good of the many. It was always a little funny to Amarantha but Puck was always one to think towards the future rather than the present. It’s probably why he didn’t foresee himself getting eaten by a dragon. Amarantha instead was deciding to believe the good of the many outweighing the good of the few. She needed to get on the good side with this Vampire and if that meant killing some of her people to save the greater good of the Castle, than she would.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Future Palace

Ahote continued to watch the giant while Prince Myrus started to talk, identifying the creature as a Frost Giant just as Ahote had determined himself and then he mentioned something called Ragnarok. Ahote glanced at the Prince before moving forward to continue following the giant.
”Ragnarok… the end of ends for the Nine Realms, according to Norse Mythology. Hmm, I am not sure if this is what that is but I do know these Frost Giant’s are Loki’s followers at present. When I first arrived, I checked the past and found Loki sitting on the throne with a red headed woman lying at his feet,” he looked over at the Prince and placed a hand on his shoulder. ”I do not know what time we have been plunged into so I do not know who the woman was. All I know is that this is the perceived future of the Castle and I intend to find a way to change it. Will you join me?” Of course the Prince didn’t have much of a choice Ahote thought but Myrus had also come a long way in his training so if he did decide to go on his own, Ahote would respect that. ”As for how long you have been gone. I do not know for after we entered the Queen’s Room, your sisters and Titan disappeared inside a cupboard. There were Vampires in the hallway and I was intending to find something to either bring your siblings back from wherever they went or stop the vampires. Instead I found a glass shard and was transported here.”
Ahote turned his attention back to the Frost Giant. He could see across the waterway. They seemed to be at the Palace Boat Launch and the Giant was making its way across to the other side of the Castle. Strange how Ahote could see to the other side when earlier that day there were buildings and other structures blocking the view. But that was a different time. Ahote scanned for some other type of floating device that would allow them passage across. They would have to wait until the Frost Giant made his landing though as there was no cover for Ahote and the Prince. Ahote did spot two small paddle boats, more like the small boats he used at home for water travel or fishing. They were made for one person but at the Castle he had seen children using them for play. They would have to do and hopefully they would hold.
While pointing out the boats, Ahote spoke. ”We can take those once the Frost Giant is across. Then we can make it to the other side. If we lose sight of him I can track him,” Ahote spoke confidently.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Hellfire Club C4 -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy - Binding

Luna was left with her questions unanswered. First Sapphire appeared and then one by one the rest of the people Luna had brought up were revealed and the fighting started. Luna glared at Sapphire before she stood, annoyed and frustrated. Of course she was the first one to intervene. She never trusted Luna and now that lack of trust and thoughts of something going wrong came true. Psychologist’s called that fortune telling.
There was no time for frustration however, they were all in the middle of a fight and they would all have to fight in order to get out of here remotely alive. Fire erupted in a ring around Luna and the two gentlemen. She eyed them both as the one with horrid drink taste trained himself on her and the other pulled out a gun and opened fire. Luna narrowed her eyes and entered their minds before she bound them so neither could move. Her lips curved into a wicked grin. "Down Boo Boo, down," she taunted.

The bell being rung was a little bittersweet. Yes, they had managed to do it all together but the victory was short-lived as their home became invaded. Cayden had but a few moments to take in the intruders before they started to attack. The girl started to come after him and Colossus and when Cayden looked to Colossus, he found that the big guy had turned from his great silverness back into an average looking man. That couldn't bode well. Cayden could see that this girl meant a great deal to him. What their relationship was, he couldn't tell but there was something.
Cayden looked back at the girl charging him. ”Come on big guy, I know this may be, shocking or whatever but we need you on this team too. No matter who we are up against.” Cayden couldn’t wait for the girl to approach or Colossus to be okay with his statement. The building was crumbling and they were running out of time. Thank goodness most of the kids were out from yesterday.
He was running out of space now and he needed to get in a good couple paces before he could land a proper heavy strike. He strode forward and wound up to land a hit to her chest. Cayden nailed her and knocked her flat out. He looked at Colossus apologetically. "Grab her if you need to but we got to go!"

”Let’s just focus on winning the game first,” Ezekiel laughed. He really couldn’t concentrate on more than one thing at a time. It would be either dedicating his time to pranking Kiera or helping his team win Capture the Flag. He looked out at the river and made sure his weapons were secured before he stepped into the water and started to wade across. They had to cross, no matter what. If they were detected then they could serve as a distraction.
Thankfully they both make it across with no issues and no one seems to jump on them immediately. Ezekiel sighed and grabbed his bow, notching an arrow before he continued to move forward.”We need to get on the other side of the tree line.” Until they were covered, they were sitting ducks out in the open, beside the river bed. It was easy moving for them as they made it to the trees and crept their way through the foliage. They had made a pretty far distance still without coming across anyone. ”Are they even playing?” He smirked to himself at his joke and started to scan around them. They should be getting close to the flag now.

Antoinette sat in the back of the car quite content. There wasn’t time to change so she would show up to the execution with her clothes covered in paint. She was absentmindedly trying to wipe paint off of her hands and her face though. She watched the trees move past her in a blur, naming street after street that she knew well and turned around to watch the park that she frequented go by. She loved New York and the liveliness here. There were people from all walks of life here. Even if most of them lived in fear. Antoinette sighed and sat back, staring at the red paint on her hands. Was the real New York just a lively? Was it better? Antoinette wanted to know but she was afraid.
They finally reached the Palace and the execution site. October left her and Carolina and Antoinette looked at the hanging posts. How awful would this day be. She turned her attention to watch the prisoners being pulled out one by one and led to a platform. Before they could reach their destination though there was a sudden commotion. A bullet, an arrow flying and then people screaming, yelling and more violence. Antoinette grabbed onto Carolina, confused and not having a clue on what they should do. ”We need to get out of here,” she said shakily. Both of Antoinette's eyes flared in and out with their enhanced colours, her body unsure of what she needed to do. Fight or flee. Right now it seemed to take a third option and freeze.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Port -- The Castle
Skills: Sense Magyk

It seemed Arnora, his close friend and Halley, his family, both knew of Arya’s apparent death and didn’t deem it necessary to tell him until now. Cuyler glared at both of them, completely ignoring the obvious evidence they both presented. Cuyler knew Arya like the back of his hand and it just wasn’t possible. Thia barked and drew his attention to the sky where a giant boat in the shape of a dragon was flying. Bizzare. Cuyler jumped when a flash of light erupted beside him and then a fireball shot into the air at the boat.
”Oh yes, that was definitely a single to approach,” Cuyler muttered to himself. His axe started to spin again, this time between the dragon boat and the Palace. He rose an eyebrow, more intrigued now and looked up into the sky. Whoever was in the boat they needed to speak to. Cuyler watched as the boat seemed to disappear and then reappear on the water. He blinked a few times, feeling odd from the amount of Magyk used. He looked over at Halley, watching her wipe her nose before she refocused on the boat and the people within. One person jumped out, holding a sword and stood protectively in front of the two woman still in the boat. “Reveal yourselves, in the name of the Queen!” Cuyler shifted, grabbing his axe from the air and looked around the man to see the Queen and Princess.
”It’s Queen Valda and the Crown Princess Luna of the Small Wetland,” Cuyler quickly explained to Halley and Arnora. His interest shifted though as he detected another Magykal presence and this time Cuyler moved defensively. Thia responded to her companion and growled, hackles rising as she scanned the area with him. He knew Fleur's Magyk and knew that when she was around, nothing good could come of it. Although the act of delivering a baby might cloud some people's judgement.

Lennox let loose a breath of relief when Mryus turned and ran. Thank the Gods. He quickly turned focus back when Vampires started to attack but as it turned out, Lennox was not needed. He looked at Bruce appraisingly before he followed Mryus’s path. “They are most likely in the Queen’s Room,” he noted before he started running with Bruce. They came across bloody trails and a ghost guarding the Queen’s room. “Ah yes. We are not permitted to enter the Queen’s room. Only those with royal blood may enter. It is the safest room in the entire Palace, the Castle even. Well, perhaps next to the Stranger Chamber in Wizard Tower.”

Amarantha crossed her arms, her annoyance not faked as she stared at Gyspsy. Her eyes shifted as recognition crossed her mind. She knew this woman. She had seen this woman a week prior and there was sudden fear inside Amarantha. How long had these disgusting beasts been here, waiting to attack them all. At the mention of someone waiting for them, Amarantha shifted back to calm. She needed to know why they had come. She needed to stop any further attacks and Amarantha was in the perfect position to do so now.
”Well aren’t you supposed to train me? My maker is dead.” Not that she would require much more training. Amarantha was raised to hunt and kill. She now possessed a faster, more skilled body so the learning curve shouldn’t be too steep. Amarantha shifted away from the door and gestured forward for Gypsy to lead the way. She was about to drift into an unknown world. The ultimate deception and rather than being afraid or nervous, Amarantha felt completely comfortable and at home with this notion. This was who she had been for the longest time, who she had trained to be. One more act, one more lie wouldn't be too much for her.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Future Palace
Skills: Trivia Knowledge; Sneaking

Just as Ahote suspected, the Frost Giant did wake and upon looking around the area to find Ahote, it started to leave when it's findings came up empty. Ahote shifted, ready to follow the Giant wherever it led him. He was starting to shift around the rumble, making as little noise as possible when more knowledge about Loki came to him. There was a tale of a Serpent, much like the one in Ahote’s own legends that was loyal to Loki. This serpent hid in bodies of water, trying to protect itself from Thor, Loki’s own brother who was hellbent on killing the serpent. As Ahote crept along, he looked around him searching for such bodies of water or a serpentine body. It was a bit of a random piece of information but most random facts like that tended to pop into Ahote’s mind at the most inconvenient times.
Of course, something else popped out that could not come at a worse time. Ahote’s eyes widened when the Prince suddenly appeared in front of him. Blowing all protocol, Ahote clamped his hand over the Prince’s mouth and pulled him to the ground. Ahote held one finger to his lips before he looked around for the Frost Giant to see if he had heard the Prince. Luck was on their side and the Frost Giant showed no indication of hearing the Prince’s sudden appearance.
Ahote released his hand from the Prince. ”The last I had seen of your siblings was them disappearing through a cabinet in the Queen’s Room with Titan. I was then transported here after finding a glass shard. This is the Castle Prince Myrus. A future that seems inevitable at the moment. At this present time though, I am following a creature that will hopefully lead to who created this destruction. I must insist you remain quiet and light on your feet,” he whispered to the Prince before he resumed his sneaking after the Frost Giant. Ahote was relieved to see Prince Mryus relatively unharmed but they didn’t have time to share all that had happened.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Hellfire Club C4 -- Washington D.C.

Luna resisted little by little as she was forced to walk over and sit on the couch. She eyed Requiem, having never met him before. He would present a challenge as much as Emma Frost would it seemed. The little fool who tied her shoelaces together like a five year old was just plainly annoying but she could manage him. After sitting down, Luna slipped her shoes off and leaned against the arm of the couch. It seemed her laces were terribly knotted and she would probably just end up replacing them. Pity, she liked these shoes the most. She eyed the little man making her drink with annoyance before looking at Emma. The other woman in the room was questioning why she was here as well but Luna kept her focus on Emma. She was the one to talk to if she wanted access to Shaw.
”I was looking for my Uncle. Was hoping to meet with him privately actually.” She knew the Hellfire club was busy with people coming and going but was hoping for a bit of luck in that sense. Of course one couldn’t have too much luck. Jinx came back over with Luna’s drink and she simply stared at the thing he held in front of her before she looked at him. ”Whiskey actually if you wouldn’t mind. Neat.” She turned her attention looking about the room. She hadn’t a clue were the others were and she wasn’t about to search for their minds with Emma there but she trusted they were all off the elevator and if they weren’t, better for them all. ”You blokes don’t redecorate much do you,” she noted as she scanned the room before looking back at Emma with a slight smirk.
As she sat there, she did everything within her power to think of other things like her Uncle, her family back home and even Emma but her mind continued to drift to the group lurking behind Veil in the room. If Emma chose to invade her mind, this was not going to end well at all. Luna knew she would have to give Emma something in order to gain trust into the group but she just prayed that Emma trusted Luna enough to not search her mind. After all, Emma had watched Luna grow up to an extent as well and she most likely knew about the family history with the Hellfire Club.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Well that was unexpected. Cayden stared up at the ceiling, suddenly on the ground and vibrating until he was hauled up. He shook himself, still feeling the effects of being shocked while he introduced himself to James. ”That was really quite shocking you know,” he commented to Callie before falling back into line. He looked at James and nodded once before he shifted, tying his hair back with a leather tie before he cracked his neck and shifted into a running stance. He grinned at Colossus before shooting himself forward.
He remained upright until the last second and barrelled into Colossus’s legs like a ram in an effort to take him out. The giant metal man barely bugged but Cayden had an excellent grip as well and refused to let go but only continued to push on the man. The water underneath him soaked his pants but at least it wasn’t ice anymore. Ice did start to form but around Colossus’s feet. Cayden grinned and released Colossus for a moment, taking a step back so he could reposition and tackle the man if needed. He paused though when Waverly spoke up about hearing some transmission. He glanced between Colossus and her.
”Training session over?”

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Annie, Carolina and October’s Home -- New York City, New York.

Antoinette was up to her arms in paint. Literally. Her arms were covered in paint. After the night’s events, despite all the turmoil, she was hit with inspiration. Particularly with the colour red. She had her sketchbook laid out in front of her along with a canvas that was already outlined and she had started her painting process. Hair like fire rolled out in waves across the canvas but there were displacements in colour to break up all the obvious red. From the hair there was one bird in mid-flight, coming from the hair itself it seemed. It too was in various shades of red, orange and yellow. It was more commonly known as a Phoenix and it was rising from the woman’s hair as if it were ashes. The woman could be compared to Princess Wanda in likness and the bird was to symbolize new beginnings.
October came and gave Antoinette her morning kiss and Antoinette looked over, a far away look in her eyes until there was the mention of a hanging and corpses. ”Poke around? At what exactly. The palace isn’t open to the public twenty-four seven,” Antoinette noted. Hair fell into her face and she brushed it back behind her ear, leaving a trail of red and black across her cheek and into her very white blonde hair. She reached out, grabbing a glass of water and quickly rehydrated before she resumed work on her painting. It always amazed Antoinette how thirsty she got when simply painting.
