Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Rainbow Bridge -- Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler did walk with Sága down the Rainbow Bridge, after all he did say he was committed to helping the lands and this seemed to be the only way. He appreciated Arnora’s apology but it wasn’t the apology he needed to hear. Cuyler walked along, watching the roots spread out and under them as his mind wandered and shifted. He didn’t notice Sága stop until he had ran into her. To determine if he was worthy he had to fall from the bridge? That seemed like a crucial piece of information and would have been nice to know earlier. Cuyler glanced over the Rainbow Bridge, seeing roots and nothingness underneath. He looked back at Sága, ready to voice his opinion when she smiled and pushed him over the edge.
Cuyler’s eyes widened as he felt the inexplicable feeling of falling and then he reached, hoping above all that he would feel solid wood of Yggdrasil in his hand. As he was falling, his mind flashed to past memories as one would do when a life was potentially ending. He saw images of his father teaching him how to sail. To tie the ropes and climb up to the top to fix the sails or release sails while on the sea. It was tedious work and required a lot of trial and error. On one such lesson something went wrong and Cuyler slipped from the end of the pole he was fixing the rigging on. It was well over the water and Cuyler landed into the cold waters of the Land of Lost Nights with a loud thudding sound. The water had rose up around him, pulling him down while the crushing weight of freezing water pushed on his chest. Naturally, he panicked, having never fallen from such a great height before. He knew how to swim, taught before learning to walk it seemed but at the moment it didn’t matter. As he panicked, water filled his lungs and his vision grew dark. His father had rescued him and the Norns, goddesses of Fate had not claimed him on that day. Would they today though? In the very lands they claimed, while his mother ruled and his friend stood mere feet away. Did Cuyler even want to be saved, knowing what tasks lay ahead of him? Still, Cuyler found himself reaching and opening himself up to fate.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Outside The Vault -- The Palace
Skills:

If there was one thing they all seemed to agree on it was getting help for Amarantha. Her earlier behaviour was uncalled for but she wasn’t exactly herself at the moment. She had reverted back to her more cynical ways with a bloodthirsty creature inside her. Ahote relaxed a little, pleased they would try to find her some help. The stronger topic of conversation now was trying to find someone to take her place. ”Well there is Titan. He was her second and a strong enough leader with the guard, at least from what I have seen. Not to mention he kept both you and Luna safe tonight Valda.” Of course the ultimate decision would be Valda’s choice. Perhaps she had a different sort in mind, someone tamer and who could take direction more easily.
Ahote was quite ready for bed but wouldn’t leave the royals unattended; although, between Valda and Myrus, they were more than capable of taking care of themselves. Ahote would escort them all back to their chambers and find extra guards for them if they decided. It wouldn’t be a bad idea though if they all had a bit of a slumber party within Valda’s rooms. They might all need it after the multiple death scares after this day.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: The Cherry Bomb (Upstairs) -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Binding/Knock Out

The binding held thankfully while Luna shuffled through the papers and came across a few juicy ones. She saw what subsidiary of Shaw Industries owned the bar and that Shaw idiotically put his name on the lease. He truly thought he was invincible. One day that attitude was going to get him killed. Luna shook her head and gathered the papers and slipped them inside her jacket, along with the photo of Mystique. She glanced at Havok’s comment and nodded. ”I think we’ve got all we can get from up here.” She turned to face the bartender and dove into his mind deeper to try and knock him out. It was a rather forceful thing, knocking someone out via the mind, that is when it works but Luna couldn’t get the proper hold on him. Still, it wasn’t all lost. Luna turned to Havok. ”Do you mind knocking him out? If I leave the room the binding will be severed and we don’t need him calling anyone.” Havok obliged and stepped around the bar to knock out the unmoving bartender, to which he succeeded. ”Thanks,” Luna said before moving towards the basement.
Luna opened up the basement door and held it open as she peered down the stairs. It was pitch black in the basement with an odd glowing light that moved here and there and several voices drifted up to them. At least they were all familiar. ”Oi, could you use an out?” If they had it handled, she wasn’t going to interfere and just encase someone unsavoury walked through the door it wouldn’t be wise to have all the heavy hitters down in a basement that could be potentially locked.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Gift Shop ---> Outside Gift Shop - JFK Memorial Hospital -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Sure they were hiding in the corner but that was only temporary. Cayden was waiting for an opening, he wasn’t about to risk the operation completely and he needed to keep Waverley save. He heard her speak up about getting the cameras shut off. Cayden relaxed a little, hearing the good news when Colossus took down Vulcan. There was their opportunity. He pulled on Waverley’s hand and ushered her from the gift shop quickly, moving around the fighting pair. Hopefully they looked like people who had just been trapped inside the gift shop and not part of the carnage.
Cayden saw the blood drip from Colossus as he continued to fight Vulcan which was far from good. If he couldn’t shift back to his human form after this, how would they treat a man made of metal? He looked at Waverley. ”Get to a safe spot.” Cayden had to focus on Vulcan and the big guy now. He would have to take down Vulcan if Colossus couldn’t and then carry the big guy out of there as he didn’t know Waverley had sent a message for help.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Inside the Big House/Infirmary -- Camp Half-Blood

Rebecca was probably right, everyone needed to know of Rosie’s most recent vision. It was probably in conjunction with her earlier one anyways. Ezekiel wrote down Rosie’s vitals, keeping an accurate record was important and you couldn’t rely on memory. He set the chart down on the table beside the bed Rosie now rested on and looked over as Kiera walked in and then Mary. ”She had a vision and it does not bode well..” He looked back at Rebecca and frowned. The last time he had seen his father was him coming down to send him Leda and Kristen on a quest of their own. He really didn’t want to try summoning his father. As much as Ezekiel loved proving himself, he didn’t enjoy the whole putting your life on the line thing that came with it and if Ezekiel was the one to summon Apollo, he would probably put Ezekiel on the task.
Ezekiel ran hands over his face and through his hair, interlocking his fingers at the back of his head and blew out a breath. ”Feel free to stick around you two if you want to hear the dramatics. I’m going to call for Mr. D and Chiron and then we’ll explain everything again,” he told Mary and Kiera. He didn’t want to have to explain everything twice over, especially with the heads of the camp near. Ezekiel dropped his hands and walked over to the door. ”Hey Mr. D, Chiron! Could you come down to the infirmary for a moment.” Ezekiel simply called out the door. The house was big but it wasn’t that big and he hoped his voice would carry.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Kitchen -- Cassi & Layla’s Apartment
Skills:

Artemis wound himself around Cassiopeia’s legs, making her shuffle over to the food dish so she didn’t take out the cat or herself while walking. ”Ooo Chinese,” she said with a nod. The cat food dropped into the two dishes, filling the apartment with the sound of kibble hitting metal before the cats moved forward to discover the new addition to their food dish. Cassiopeia also topped up the water dishes before getting the keys from Layla. She scratched Artemis's head and ran her fingers over Fluffy’s tail before double checking she had everything she needed.
”Let’s get going,” she said and headed for the door. The thought of delicious Chinese food was making her a bit hungrier and therefore a bit more impatient. It would be a lot better of a meal than cold cut sandwiches would have been. Maybe some hot chocolate too or they could save that treat for after the hunt to help them both warm up. Those were the moments Cassiopeia loved after a successful hunt.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow ate some more before chasing her food with a splash of orange juice. She set her fork down and dabbed her mouth with her napkin before nodding. ”I could always use help studying,” Willow admitted with a laugh. She pulled out her phone and cued up the new contact tag before handing it over to Sierra. She wondered how many other people Sierra had met by working in this diner and possibly befriended. ”You must meet a lot of interesting people working here,” she noted.
Willow returned to eating her food while Sierra typed on her phone. Her break from school wasn’t going to be much longer and Willow still had to drive herself back to school. Originally, she had been hoping for a more productive break but this hadn’t been so bad either. She had made a new friend and that was always a good thing for Willow. ”I’ll text you once I have your number and then if you need help with anything, you can just ask me.” Willow loved being able to extend her helping hand to people as well.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Rainbow Bridge -- Asgard
Skills:

Thia finished her meal quickly while Sága and Heimdall spoke before she stood and stretched herself out. She gave out a loud yawn before nudging Cuyler and trotted off, ready to retire for the night. It had been a rather eventful evening down on Midgard and the Night Transformer was rather done with the night. Cuyler meanwhile stood there with the arrow still protruding from his eye. He looked over at Arnora after Sága dismissed her. ”Could you let my mother know what’s going on and tell her she's wrong about Arya being dead.” After all of this, Cuyler would be having a long conversation with his mother. She had no right keeping Arya's supposed death from him. Whatever her reasoning was now moot.
The pain had become manageable now but Cuyler still found it disorienting having an arrow protruding from his eye. He grasped onto the shaft of the arrow and snapped the end of it before tossing it aside. At least now he couldn’t see an object sticking out of his eye anymore and with his depth perception off it was probably best to not smash it against something. He looked at Sága when she spoke to Cuyler of needing to go to the highest point of Asgard. Cuyler wasn’t even sure he knew where that was. He shrugged and nodded forward. ”Lead the way.”

Amarantha

Location: Dungeon One -- The Palace Dungeons
Skills: Resistance; Stamina;

Amarantha’s state of hunger had pretty well become a constant and was an old friend now. At least she could rely on herself always being hungry for something she couldn’t have. The dungeon door shut behind Myrus and Ahote and she heard the familiar sound of it being locked into place. She shifted around on the floor, moving until she found a comfortable position and laid back. While in the Young Army, Puck had locked them into isolation many times. The only difference now was the crushing weight of the chains taking everything out of Amarantha. Still, her knowledge of things long since past was an odd comfort for her.
As she settled, she surveyed the room. The cracks, the dirt, the door and how it stood and the smell. That smell would be a permanent thing. Amarantha shifted again, trying to adjust to the weight of the chains and filled her mind with thoughts of escaping. If she were to try escaping, how would she do it and how far would she even get. If she got out and if she took down the guards she would need to feed from them, drain them both until nothing was left. Amarantha shuttered from the idea of it. As much as Amarantha had the instinct of survival, she had also developed a large amount of honor. It came with the promotion and having something that was truly her own for once. Not to mention the fact that she felt she deserved this punishment. Myrus nor Ahote had checked her person before chaining her up. Amarantha had a few things tucked away on her person, including the gauntlet on her wrist that held a hidden blade. If she wanted to, she could make an escape attempt but the thing was, she didn’t want to. So instead she shut her eyes and decided to try for some sleep. In the morning she would let her guards know who she wished to say goodbye to.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Palace Dungeons -- The Palace
Skills:

Ahote stood by as the doors were locked, sealing Amarantha inside. He wasn’t sure she would even attempt an escape. She had seemed pretty dejected and accepting of what her fate had led her to. Still, this place was full of surprises. Ahote watched Myrus as the doors locked. ”You’ve had a long day and it is rather late. Perhaps it is time to call it a night Mryus. There is nothing more we can do right now anyways,” Ahote stated. Amarantha would keep and the late hour wouldn’t produce anymore information for them.

They headed out of the dungeons and met up with Valda and Luna once more. Once again, Ahote stood by while Myrus spoke to his sisters. It was a rather unfortunate thing but probably true that there was no cure for vampirism. "We’ll look though. Ask the Physiks and the Wizards. Someone may have come across something in their travels.” Ahote tried his best to stifle a yawn and just covered it by turning his head and yawning into his shoulder. He was tired but he wasn’t sure if he would sleep much with everything that had happened today.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: The Cherry Bomb -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Binding

It seemed that Jack didn’t have a clue about the man’s true age. Either he was good at playing dumb or he truly did not know. That would be a question for another time though as Luna didn't anticipate the mystery man leaving her mind anytime soon. Perhaps she would make a phone call home later on to ask her dad about the man. Meanwhile, the bartender retrieved the picture Luna had asked for and handed it to her. She glanced the thing over, slipping it into her pocket for another question that would need answering. It seemed they were only getting more questions than answers while being here.
Luna shifted in her seat, ready to add more questions about what was going on downstairs when the bartender announced that the bar was closing due to a supposed water pipe leak. Not very likely considering it was downstairs where their partners were. Luna watched the bar empty before she looked at the bartender and slipped into his mind and bound him to his spot. ”Feel free to knock him out or question him. He doesn’t seem to know anything about what goes on downstairs other than they can’t be down there,” Luna stated. She walked around the bar and started shuffling through papers and other things, looking for clues or signs of anything sinister going on.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: JFK Memorial Hospital -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden grinned, impressed with the big guy’s show of force. He looked around for something of equal destructive size, bobbing his head along to the music that was playing. He wasn’t completely familiar with the song but it had a steady beat to it that seemed to make the job suddenly more fun. Cayden chuckled at Waverley’s comment. ”We’re making it work,” Cayden defended happily. Cayden decided on throwing glass figurines would be his best option. As he picked a couple out, he heard a familiar voice and stopped. Cayden turned around to see Vulcan standing in front of them. They all should have guessed this would have happened. He was hopped up on who knows what and knocking him out for a good few hours didn’t seem to do anything to slow the crazy down.
Cayden closed his hands into tight fists, ready to fight when Vulcan attacked Colossus. His eyes widened as the metal skin on the big guy started to smoke. That could not be good. When Colossus told them to run, Cayden was torn on what to do but there was still a mission going on a few floors above them and they needed Waverley to keep on top of those cameras. At the very least they had a big enough distraction now. ”Come on Wave. You stay focused on the cameras if you can, I’ll guide you.” Cayden took a hold of Waverley’s hand and pulled her away from the immediate fray. He looked around the gift shop, searching for an exit other than the one Colossus and Vulcan were fighting in the middle of. No such luck was on the young mutants sides though. Cayden pulled Waverley over to a corner of the store and stood in front of her. They would have to time their escape or Cayden would have to hold whoever came after them off long enough for Waverley to continue on with her job. He loosened the leather throng from around his wrist and tied it around his hair so it was contained and out of the way.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Human Resistance HQ ---> Magneto’s Palace-- New York City, New York.
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

”Dumb no, strange possibly,” Antoinette defended. She understood the danger of the situation and the problem it was causing for everyone but Wanda was still a person with feelings, hopes and dreams. Her creating this reality was proof enough of that. Antoinette didn’t believe anyone should be treated with disgrace, even the enemy. Treating Wanda kindly could end in their favour or it could not. Antoinette would act the way she wanted to.
Klara opened up a portal for them all. Antoinette was just as surprised as everyone else at Pietro’s connection with his sister still being open but maybe that was just proof of Wanda’s human nature and kindness. There was only one way to find out though and Antoinette got off of the floor and walked through the portal. She followed the lines of the stairs up the front of the palace and glanced at each of the many windows. Her blue eye flashed as she tried to use intuition to get a sense of what would transpire here but it was completely useless. As Tony and Miranda spoke to each other, arguing about who knows what, Antoinette moved around the group and headed up the stairs. Splitting up may be a wise idea but Antoinette had questions of her own and she headed into the palace first.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Inside the Big House/Infirmary -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel smirked at Rebecca’s notes of disgracing a book by dropping it. Only she would feel that way. If this was Hogwarts, she would so be a Ravenclaw. Ezekiel moved out of the way as Rebecca took to guiding Rosie. That was his job. He reached over and grabbed a stethoscope before moving to follow Rebecca when Rosie’s eyes shifted and green smoke filled the space around the three of them. Ezekiel froze mid step and his eyes rolled as the vision overtook him. The vision he saw was a thing of his imagination. He knew the stories of this place, they all did. Everything was taught in classes or scary stories around campfires. He had never seen it other than pictures and his imaginings. It was much worse than he thought. The eeriest thing had to be the troops moving in steady formation to one location.

The vision cleared and Ezekiel stumbled forward, nearly tripping over Rosie who had fallen on the ground. Rebecca was more on top of things and cradled Rosie as she spoke her prophecy which usually followed her visions. Ezekiel heard the son of medicine bit and hung his head, making an annoyed sound in the back of his throat. ”Seriously?” He looped the stethoscope around his neck before he scooped up Rosie. She had a vision so there was no need to be cautious about moving her and he laid her on one of the beds. He adjusted the pillow under her head and even laid a blanket over her before he started to check her vitals, just encase. ”Hypnos, Athena and… Apollo,” Ezekiel repeated, hesitating on his father’s name. I seriously hope she means more than one of each. As for the mother of all monsters. I believe she is referring to Echidna. You know, Typhon’s wife.” Which would explain seeing Tartarus in the vision. ”And if she’s involved, this won’t be good. We should probably get Chiron and Mr. D.” Ezekiel knew a lot about Echidna, if Rebecca had more questions, he should be able to answer most of them.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Cassi’s Bedroom ---> Kitchen -- Cassi & Layla’s Apartment
Skills:

Cassiopeia made an undistinguished grunt in assent before she rolled over and stared at her floor a moment. She flexed her fingers, feeling the muscles stretch and roll over bone before she threw back the covers and walked to the window. She peeked around the curtain to see dark grey clouds and smiled a little. A bit of a chilly day was always the best for a hunt. She let the curtain fall away and went to her closet to dig out her hunting gear. As Cassiopeia dressed, she reminded herself to feed the cats before leaving. Cassiopeia had left her bow and archery gear in the jeep but she did grab a set of knives as well. Most of the time she left that job to her sister though. She was an artist with knife use of any kind.
”Come on kitties, time to eat,” Cassiopeia called as she walked out of her room. She was dressed in camo with a dark grey sweater underneath her jacket and her hair had been secured under a hat with a bright orange stripe all the way around it. It wasn’t a fashion statement but it would make other hunters think twice before shooting. Cassiopeia went to the pantry and grabbed the cat food before filling the two dishes for them and topped off the water. ”Should we bring sandwiches or something?” Cassiopeia wasn’t sure how long Layla would want to be out there.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow smiled, happy that she would be getting her food. One more thing to postpone studying. Willow didn’t think much about Sierra having received a letter as people received letters all the time. She finished off her cup of coffee and pushed her text away just in time for her food to arrive. ”Thank you,” Willow said pleasantly. She took her napkin and placed it in her lap. The food smelled delicious and her stomach grumbled happily.
Willow cleared her throat and looked back at Sierra. ”Always nice to just chill out and watch Netflix. I have to head back to school after this for an afternoon class,” Willow said and shrugged. She took a bite from her food and smiled, it tasted decent for a diner. Willow’s tastes were definitely more refined from her upbringing but sometimes you could find the most amazing things in the unlikeliest of places.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: Wizard Way ---> Asgard -- The Castle
Skills:

”He wants my eye? Excellent,” Cuyler said and made an attempt at rolling his eyes which was an idiotic thing to do. He cried out and couldn’t even grab the area of the source of pain. ”The next time I shoot someone with an arrow, I’m going to appreciate the pain of it a little more.” Cuyler cursed as the nausea seemed to surge and he doubled over, trying not to lose what was in his stomach.
The bifrost opened up and they were all transported up, Thia included with her meal in tow. Cuyler dropped to his knees once they were back on Asgard. He couldn’t stand the pain much longer and was ready to just rip the thing out with his bare hands if he had to. ”What? Don’t want to watch me hand over my eye to some random,” Cuyler managed to get out. Sure if Arnora wanted to leave and continue on with the original mission she could or she could stick around and come with them. Maybe Cuyler would need the emotional support.

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Dungeons -- The Palace
Skills: Resistance; Stamina;

Amarantha locked eyes with Mryus, weighing his words and nodded. The manacles on her wrists sealed closed and she could instantly feel the curse seeping into her skin and into her bones. She took a deep breath and shut her eyes while Myrus relayed his offers. She chuckled darkly. ”I believe what are now considered meals for me is the whole reason you are locking me in here Prince Mryus,” she opened her eyes and they shone their brilliant ice blue for a moment. ”I will let them know in the morning if I would desire a final visit from someone.” Amarantha shut her eyes again as the weight of the curse wove its way into her being.
With her added supernatural ability, the wearing of her life force would not be nearly as fast Amarantha imagined but it still didn’t feel pleasant. She focused on her past trainings in order to make the process seem less evasive. As she meditated she also thought of who she would like to see. Titan, to ensure he knew exactly what he was doing and wouldn’t mess up keeping the royals safe. Ahote maybe, to ensure he stayed with the royals and didn’t leave. Mryus needed a friend now more than ever with all the responsibility he was now taking on. Apollodora maybe to see about her future, what it was like for Amarantha. Then there was Luna as well. Now that was a hard one. Amarantha wasn’t certain she wanted Luna seeing her even more degraded than she already had.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Palace Dungeons -- The Palace
Skills:

Ahote watched his friend while he tightened the manacles. As Myrus’s voice shook, Ahote laid a steadying hand on his shoulder. The burden Mryus carried, Ahote could only imagine. He had his own burdens back home from being a leader from a prominent family but each village, each country had their own problems and none could be compared to the other. Ahote looked back at Amarantha, listening to her words. It was true, they didn’t need normal sustenance vampires so what would Mryus do. Give her raw meat perhaps? Ahote didn’t know if that would be sufficient enough and remained silent on the subject. ”Have faith Amarantha that we will find something.” Ahote wasn’t sure how much time they had with the curse already working away at Amarantha, but he hoped they would have some time to try.
”We should leave Mryus.” Who knew how Amarantha would start to react with the curse picking away at her. It would make her weaker definitely and by that reasoning hungrier. And when people became desperate, sometimes it didn’t matter that steel chains were holding them back. Ahote turned for the door, turning his back on his friend and mentor. In the moment it truly did feel like a death sentence.
