Who did this guy seriously think he was? He was taking him in? Kieran drifted in thought for a second and realized that S'tann kind of reminded him of Cartman from South Park. All he could do now was hear, "Respect my Authorah!" It was possible that things would have started to die down, but then Jason entered the scene and told them to stop fighting and that they could kill each other later. He never understood why someone would tell people to stop fighting when they weren't fighting yet. He believed telling them not to fight would have been better.
Jason's words seemed to cause S'tann to stir up again by claiming that the boy should fear the law and fear him. Kieran had it at that point. He opened his mouth to say something, but that's when his voice shut everyone up. At least for a moment. It was the gym teacher, Jason Todd. The guy was awesome. Just look at that hair. And it wasn't even a dye job. It was actually more of a die job. Kieran would have thought that would have ended things right there, but the victim of the accidental assault decided she didn't very much like having a seizure.
She told both Kieran and S'tann to fuck off. That's not the usual attitude someone would have to the guy who stopped her seizures. He recognized who she was. He didn't know her well or really much at all, but he knew what she could do. He wasn't scared of her, but she was one of the only people here who could hurt him.
Really hurt him. Even so he didn't appreciate it that she went right towards the still scared Kyle to antagonize him.
Coach Todd stepped in again and told her to put him down and demanded that everyone get to class before they received punishments. Kieran sighed before eyeing S'tann and J'onn. How could he let him get away with all of the stuff that he did? Even if Kieran wanted to be bad he had both Kara and Connor there to put him right back in his place. Maybe the Manhunter was too soft on family. It would explain a lot. Then again the Boy in Blue could be a softy too.
Kieran then turned to both Rita and Kyle next and said,
"I'm glad that you're both okay. This could have ended up a lot worse." He didn't wait for a response, but he did smile. He had to get to class now. He was already late and Kara hated when he was late. He started to walk off towards class, but then remembered that he had Freddie's back. He didn't know if he had homework in there, but if he did he didn't want to be the reason that he missed the chance to turn it in.
He sped off towards the Arts side of the Quadrangle before more or less bursting into Professor Brown's class.
"Sorry for interrupting your class. Just dropping this off." He removed the black satchel and headed over to Mari and Freddie before giving it to the latter. He didn't wait for a thank you or anything and immediately left.
It didn't take him long to get to the South Wing and to his class. He knew there was no point in trying to sneak in when your teacher was a Kryptonian so he walked on in and sat down in his seat.
"You know I don't accept tardiness in my class. Even from family. Especially from family." Kara said as she turned to him. She crossed her arms to show that she was disappointed, but it was clear that she wasn't angry with him. At least not today.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry. It's just... I got held up. It won't happen again." He couldn't really promise that, but he learned saying it was the best he could do in situations like this.
"Right... Well, class. Let's get started."
