It was not the easiest ride home. For one, her pride was pretty much hurt being that she was usually much more careful and to get a beating that she took and not at least knocking one of them out, it was a shame to her. She was pissed for the fact that she did MMA for a little only to get a cheap shot done on her and lost the fight like she did. Then comes her feeling vulnerable. She don't know if these guys knew her or what but a hint of fear was in the back of her head feeling these guys when where she lived and could come back at any time.

Xia did take a loo at her girlfriend when she tried to reassure her that she was there for anything she needed. I just want to get in a comfy piece of furniture and relax. She said. I...I don't like asking much from you babe... she said not wanting to be a problem. Xia felt that she could do well by herself while Marlin was working. And I don't mind where you put me as long as I have close access to the bathroom. she said with a weak smirk.

After her slight aching struggle, Xia managed to unlock the door and open it to the manor. She walked in with her and she was willing to go wherever she needed but with stairs, it would be a nuisance but she'd try and walk them. She nodded. Thanks babe, you're too
nice to me. And yeah...Carlo has his moments. he's becoming a better person. just needs to work on...his attitude. She said coming in and looked around a little wondering what all Carlo brought over from her place.

The steps were a pain but Xia was able to climb them and then gently sat on the couch trying to get comfy. hearing there was disney plus, she smirked. She had to admit, she liked the Star Wars shit. She just hoped she wouldn't get too bored being stuck in the house all the time. not that Marlin was boring, Xia just loved being active and for her to slow things down because of injuries, she didn't know how she was going to get through this. Xia's mother soon called marlin's phone wanting to let her know she was already in town not giving her a heads up beforehand that she was on her way. She was hoping Marlin could bring her to the house or...she could have Carlo bring her instead. Being that Marlin may miss the call, she spoke on the voice mail.

"Marlin, this is Keyla, I'm here in the city at the airport and wanting to see if you can come and pick me up. If not, I'll just have Carlo come and bring me to you and Xia." She left before hanging up waiting on a call back. She just couldn't wait and out of rushing, she forgot to let Marlin know she was on her way. Xia sat for a moment with her eyes closed trying to relax for a bit until the food would come and knowing how hungry she was, she would tear up anything that was made for her.

Paramount Academy interest check

Paramount Academy, a school known to have a high academic level scores but the worst with student behavior. Despite the intelligent students that come through, the worst children with behavior problems were dropped off there to hopefully correct the students to become upstanding adults in the future. Unfortunately, the rise of student gangs and dangerous individuals have turned this school into a battle ground for turf and reputation. The root of the problem, the Chaotic 10. 10 forces in this school who holds power and high reputation. Going by ranks 10 up to 1, battles are initiated to climb the latter to be the number 1 force in school. When you're number 1, you rule the school. The Student council were the force that kept the peace and order but after their overwhelming defeat because of these forces, a new line up of students are needed.

Tuesday - Sol City Hospital - Hephaestus Manor

What a weekend. Filled with nothing but pain, morphine, helplessness, humility, but yet the royal treatment. Xia was still nowhere near 100%. With her hand still broken and the ribs being the mess and the nausea with migraines from the concussion, she have seen better days and she sure wished she had the abilities of Wolverine.

She of course let Marlin handle all the other stuff as her cousin helped out a bit with gathering her things for Marlin to take with her to the manor. The fact that Xia's mother was coming to visit, it was going to be a nice change of things and on top of that, she could spend more time with Marlin to get to know her a bit more. She was protective about her baby but she come to like Marlin and trusted her enough to watch after her daughter.

She was said to come in a few days and spend at least a week or two there with them.

As the day came for Xia to leave the hospital, she had to depend on Marlin to help her to the car after being brought out by wheel chair. She moved like she was a granny getting in the car and groaned in pain with her broken hand still heavily wrapped but she didn't want to get too high off the pain meds.

Upon getting to the manor, Xia wanted to try and get out on her own. She didn't like being in this position but she slowly moved to get out with the ringing in her ears and the balance not so good but she managed to hold onto the side of the vehicle with her good hand to keep from falling. I'm okay..just...happy to finally get out that hospital. I heard my mom is coming. She said to Marlin. heading to the door hearing how this week was not planned, Xia smirked lightly. You've taken good care of me babe. She said softly coming up to the door waiting but when offered the keys to open up, she looked over. Sure.. She gently grabbed the keys trying to find the right one and looked down getting slightly disoriented and dropped the keys on accident. Shit... She said trying to bend down to grab them. I'm sorry babe. She said in pain. yeah...this was going to be a long recovery. She slowly got the keys up as she managed to get the key and unlock the door for them before walking in.

Okay, so this woman had connections and really, how deep was this girl? Carlo watched Marlin as she explained that the legal stuff is being taken care of and that she is in fact part of a family with money so his street level hustles and stealing and blackmailing was not going to be needed. Carlo hated to admit it but this little girl seemed to have shit in order for his cousin.

Now, when Marlin started to name things that Xia was going to need, he looked at the high Xia and how she was trying to figure things out and looked back at Marlin when she was done naming a list of stuff he needed to grab for his cousin and honestly didn't like someone barking orders at him. Look...just because I gave in to helping, doesn't mean I'm your personal nigg- Don't be mean my beautiful asshole... Xia said still on that morphine hard and I want my pads too...and I want you to wash my my undies.. she added in a joking manner. He was already regretting this.

Yeah...I'll grab all that shit and will look out for the fucker who attacked her. He told them with a heavy exhale.

When they listened to the call marlin made, Xia was hungry. She looked around and spoke. Where's the feeding nurse...can I get the food nurse? I'm hungry and want jerk chicken. She said as Carlo looked over. I'll get someone to come so they could take your order. He said coming out the room to get a nurse.

After Marlin was done, Xia smirked. I love you and I love my favorite asshole. When can I go home? She asked while the nurses came in the check up on her and to run a few more tests before they'd go and get her something to eat. Xia looked over Is that police lady coming? And will I get to stay with you? She asked. Still ever high but yet concerned about all that's happened, Xia just wanted all of this to be over.

Of course with the time that she'd be there, her mother would be back in contact with Marlin and would have Marlin take Xia into her custody to watch after her. She made her arrangements to make it up to Sol city so that she could keep an eye on her while she was there and be as much help as she could. Now all that would be left after all the moving and legal stuff would be catching the pricks who put Xia there in the first place.

To think that Xia would not be the same after this? The same woman who would fight both men and women just to get her point across. The woman who was not only brave and bad ass but she also had a heart of gold. To think she would be broken or vulnerable, it was almost unheard of since he's never seen that side of her but Carlo, knowing this after what Marlin said, he was preparing for it.

After giving her coffee and she explained she had her connections on the case to look into the uber driver but is letting Carlo do what he wants to do, Carlo felt that he was going to have to contact his homeboys to get the word on the streets as well. From the information marlin gave him, it made sense about Xia not having bags or anything that high value. She usually bought bags that looked like they were weaved on the islands by the neighborhood grandma with material she could find.

Will it be too much to ask that you let me know what the lawyer says? He asked her. She probably didn't have to tell him anything but he just wanted to know as much as he could. And you sure there was no one else? he asked her. I haven't heard any robberies...especially in the area she was found. in fact, that area is generally quiet. If it was a common thing, it would be easier to find them fucks.

Carlo was going to go along with helping Marlin but if Xia could let him know what she saw...it would be much easier. But marlin was already giving him the hell no on asking her questions. marlin was like a damn wall, a cute white little English one but gave a aura of something more difficult to push. The moment Xia woke up, Carlo was very attentive. Cuz! He said coming closer as Xia heard Carlo but noticed marlin was whose hand she was holding. Xia opened her eye more and tried getting up. Those guys... She said in a bit of panic trying to get up. Carlo came over. Cuz...lay down...your safe... Xia was in so much pain as her head was throbbing and spinning and she looked around to make sure no one was there to hurt her. She still had fight in her but was definitely in no condition to defend herself.

Xia looked at marlin and heard her comment Th-the roof...yes... the morphine was making her feel loopy as she looked to the roof. Carlo looked at Marlin bewildered by how they interacted. Seeing how they behaved, he could tell how much Marlin loved her and how Xia depended on her. Cuz real quick...can you remember anything that happened...who did- He looked at Marlin and stopped mid sentence as Xia looked over to Carlo. You're my favorite asshole... She said and coughed in pain as she did feel blood in her mouth. I want the police..where's that...that blonde chick we met... She said in a weak state to marlin. The one from Florida...you know...the one that's friends with your rival? ex? Something? I don't know I'm hurting...I think I can trust her... She said thinking about Paige since they had a relatively good first interaction.

Carlo listened and spoke. I'm not dealing with the fucking Po-Pos...y'all can have that shit...

@KatherinWinter Lol eh, it's partly true. I was just not as satisfied with some stuff here and joined another site for a bit (Still on that site). No ones fault, I just needed a change because my morale got a bit low here and my love for RPing was dwindling. That along with having a new baby in the house along with getting a new house and family stuff going on was why I didn't RP much on here for a while. Wasn't in the right head space.
