Ed Penior

Location: Westchester, New York, Lake Outside of Xavier's Mansion
Skills: Prestidigation; Tracking

Ed had sworn that he would keep an eye on Klara to Sif. He had also gathered a hair from her, with her permission, during their travels after that. It was not, in his opinion, the real Klara's hair, but it would let him know where this Klara was and heal her if necessary. That would be well enough, he supposed.

Being dropped into a lake was not a pleasant experience. But the three of them were able to get to the shore before something even more unpleasant happened. He flicked some water, and a warm glow of orange surrounded Mary, Bethany, and himself. When the light left, the group was dryer, though not perfectly dry. Only his clothes seemed to have completely dried with the spell.

"This place does have that abandoned feel to it. Glad there isn't someone lurking. Though that does mean the others could be...anywhere." Now that they knew about other realities it was possible they had slipped into a different one. Maybe even completely separate but similar worlds. He hoped not. He pulled out the vial with Runa's hair and his charm. Ed cast his tracking spell and the charm snapped to the south, pulling, indicating they were quite a distance from her. What Ed knew of American geography he had a feeling she was farther than New York City.

"Good news, at least Runa is on this planet, though very far to the south. I can go through the whole group and make sure none of them are currently in the ship." He looked at the sinking vessel and hoped they wouldn't need to do some Luke Skywalker magic to get it out of the lake later.

As they rounded the corner and saw Sabertooth get launched like a bouncy ball out of the area the group who had been fighting him turned on them. "We were are from outside. We are trying to figure out what is going on in town." He told them mostly honestly. No need to give them the full reason for their mission. "My name is Ed. I can heal if you'll allow me." He said moving toward the group slowly.

He moved to the woman first. "I'll have to remove the rebar." He informed her before pulling it out and quickly having his magic heal the woman. The orange glow emanated from his hand and she would be mostly healed. Only soreness was left. Then he turned to the man, though boy would be a better description, that was on the ground. The orange magic emanated again and the visible injuries on him were gone.

Ed really hoped that these people were the rebels that they hoped to find here rather than some other faction. Though he supposed anyone that was sending Sabertooth, a known Magneto associate, flying off like Team Rocket had to be at least somewhat on the 'rebel' side.

Dalisy didn't have a clue what the apples were about when things went dark. She blinked a couple of times trying to get her vision to allow her to see in the dark. Finally, it did. "Runa, I'm here." Dalisy said. She kept her voice level. She knew Runa was particularly jumpy and didn't feel like being cruel since she was already freaked out.

"The other's continued on. Here take my hand I'll lead us." It wasn't that she could 'see' so much that she knew where things were and weren't. It was hard to explain. "Sounds like the others found someone to swing a sword at. Come on." She gently reached out and took Runa's hand knowing that there wasn't a way for Runa to see her.

Rose couldn't help but scream when she was caught in a net. But she is a quick thinker. So she cut the rope of the net with the knife her mother had given her. "I'm fine." She said as she tumbled out of the net. That was partially a lie since she still had the damn arrow in her shoulder and that had not helped the situation. She was annoyed at herself. She should have broken the arrow or something.

She stood up on shaky legs as her mom ran toward her. "Cass I know you hate this, but shoot the horses not the people. They are bigger targets and a horse going down will take the human too." Though the arrow might not do enough damage to take the horse down. It might at least spook the horse and get it to run away. That would be just as useful.

Colby Jackson

Location: Agrabah
Skills:

Colby didn't like that his dad had a black eye forming. It was a sign of how bad things were. The rebels of this world were letting themselves be stepped on in order to keep their heads down. He understood the logic. But what was the point of being a rebel if you weren't going to fight back at every opportunity?

He sighed and squeezed Matthew's hand. Following him to the deck of cards on the counter. "That was over rent?" He raised an eyebrow at that. What would it be like over something more serious? How would the general population handle such situations? How many people were being hurt daily, or worse? Because of overzealous tax collectors. He could feel anger rising in his gut. Colby had never been one to care much about social situations. He preferred animals and staying out of the way of whatever stupid social justice thing was going on. Unless it was about cats. For the first time, he was mad at the status quo. He actually wanted to stop it instead of it just being a silly adventure.

"Aunt Mads can tell then." Andy said to Arthur. She didn't mind the Hecate cabin people, but she missed Rebecca so she would rather go to her Aunt. Andy looked over and saw that Demi was talking with Zeke. He looked upset. She shifted, she could get Chocolate back later. Maybe it would be good for Demi to have the excuse if he needed it. "We'll ask her to check later." She decided.

Then, still hand in hand with Arthur walked over to where Mads was standing. She wasn't going to let go of Arthur's hand until she absolutely had to. She saw the new girl, Stella, had been picked up by a harpy but she got herself out of the situation and then Cassian started to mess with the Harpy. It was weird. Maybe the Harpy was possessed. She frowned. The Harpy's did the dishes and stuff. Why would they be picking up a kid that wasn't in trouble for breaking curfew?

Niah realized if they did a late-night emergency meeting it would be Mads' last. If they waited till morning...well that would be up to Nancy she supposed. Relieved she hadn't volunteered or been voluntold to be the next Preator. She wasn't ready for that. She didn't know if she ever would be.

The kids joined them and Niah smiled. She hated that the Greeks would send little kids like them off on quests. On her first quest, she had been older. Though she had been only fourteen. She smiled at the memory. It was how the three of them had become friends. Nancy and Mads already had been friends, but there was something about the fight with the dragon and the trust exercise of going up down Mount Rushmore that had brought the three of them together. It felt like that was being pulled. All three of them were going to be in different places now.

That information gave them something to go off of. They had now located the base of operations, which was step one. Magneto now had three fewer people on his side. "If there was a fight recently it might be good for our secondary mission to investigate that. If any resistance survived we might be able to follow them or deduce from the fight how many there were and what their powers were."

Ed considered the information they had now. Sending information out would be dangerous, but giving the coordinates for Magneto's base of operation was their core mission. "We should get the coordinates out if nothing else. And get moving again. Point the way toward the recent fight. Let's see what we can learn from it." None of the group had been explicitly put in charge. Ed was used to working with groups, but normally there was one person who officially called the shots. If the others wanted to run the group he would let them, but decisions needed to be made.

Niah hadn't gotten a chance to give Oliver a kiss and a thank you. Though now that she was sitting outside she was not pleased about it. She felt like she had just gotten sidelined and in the worst possible way. It was nearly freezing outside. She knew it wasn't actually freezing since it was raining and not snowing. And she didn't have her clothing. She was dressed like a prisoner. If she had had her stealth suit on she might have been less cold.

She looked over at Celestine, teeth chattering. "I'm sorry, I'm not certain how your powers work exactly. But if you can keep those things from finding us, that would be ideal." There wasn't much she could do from here. She didn't have any weapons. And her powers were fairly niche. Something that caused her no end of stress when fighting broke out.

Matt was woozy but he didn't feel like he was going to hurl. Being carried by Raynor wasn't exactly what he expected to happen. He had fully expected him to just leave him behind. Matt considered saying something snarky but decided against it. He also didn't like that it was Folly rescuing them. And for two people that back home hated each other. What sort of wild dynamic existed here that they got along.

It hurt Matt's head to try to think about, though that could also be the Oxygen deprivation giving him a headache. "Drop me if a fight starts. I'll take care of myself." Matt did not want to be carried, but it was easier than the alternative at the moment. But if a fight started he'd be more a hindrance than anything. He needed to get oxygen back into his brain.

Ed sighed relieved when the fight ended. Letting go of the spell that had been holding down one of the monsters. He looked down at Pietro, glad to see the guy was taking it seriously. Pietro wasn't brushing it off, which was nice.

"Let me set it and then I'll heal it." Ed knelt down and re-set the leg. It was not a pleasant task, considering the bone had been literally sticking out. A compound fracture like that could cause a lot of other damage and Ed would have to take that into account as he healed.

Orange light emanated from his hands and surrounded the leg. After a moment the light faded and the wound was healed. "Give it a test walk." From the outside it looked fine, but there would be vein damage and muscle damage, and other tissue damage. Ed hoped he had done a good enough job that Pietro's natural healing would take care of the rest.

Andy was thankful for the guy who had removed the chunk of wood from her gut and healed her. She felt a little bad she didn't even know his name. Though she figured if she asked it would look rather suspicious if she asked. The one who spoke Latin made it difficult. "Thank you." She told the healer before he moved on. He was now healing the wizard's arm.

She didn't have a horse in this race so to speak, so she hung back. Considering the situation. The cyborg had been teleported away but the group was chasing after her. Andy frowned. Was the cyborg a distraction for something else? Andy turned and started down the hall that the cyborg had originally appeared from.

Down the hallway, she found a door. It was solid vibranium or something by the looks. It also appeared that someone had tried to get through it by brute force. Now, what was beyond such a door? What deserved to be protected so intently. She reached out mentally trying to feel electrical energy beyond the door. There was something small and flickering. Andy couldn't get a lock on it so she couldn't determine exactly what it was.

Deciding to try to get the door open, but in a subtler way, Andy looked around and saw that there was a locking panel. She pressed her hand against it and let out a small charge of electricity hoping to short the system and get it to open. Nothing happened. She sighed and tried again. This time the door clicked open. She smiled.

Andy offered her hand to Arthur, an unthought about gesture. It was for comfort. It was for beating back the fear that pressed in her chest. Then she stepped forward. Volunteering to go on a quest that she knew would end with her Aunt sent to a horrible place. She didn't know if she'd be able to rescue her, but she would do everything she could to try.

She listened to the stuff about the Eidolons. She felt like more information was known than what Chiron was telling them. She wondered what else was known. Could the Eidolons follow them? Could they disrupt them as soon as they got far enough away from the camp no one could do anything about it? How hard with the Eidolons go to stop them from achieving their goals? And why?

Niah would very much like to attend the meeting. But it would be better for the new Preator and Nancy to be there. She would be on a quest. It wouldn't be any use for her to be there. There was too much of a chance she wouldn't return. That chance was always there. Sure, she didn't think the Greeks handled their kids well. But death was just as possible for a Roman. Especially now. New Rome was gone.

She smiled, covering her discomfort. "Thank you Chiron." Niah said. Nancy was still bristling. Mads was quiet. Someone needed to say it. "We will send a representative." They'd figure out who later. A late-night emergency meeting would have to be called.
