"That's fair. I ended up with the X-Men because of Cardiff, so that makes sense." He nodded, responding to more than one part of what had been said. He kept his reaction to them saying that a lot of people wanted Quicksilver dead at a minimum. Mary wasn't telling them that a version of Pietro was with them so he decided to keep quiet about it too. If they'd stick with these guys then it would come up. And that would become a really uncomfortable conversation quickly. They'd have to find a way to warn Pietro. Also, Guin would probably find out her dad was dead here. Ed didn't know how she would take it. He felt detached from this world, even with the memories that had popped up it still felt like it belonged to someone else.

"Which Asgardian is with you?" They knew a few now. He wondered if it was Runa. And if it was what had happened to cause the swiss cheese brain. He wondered that no matter who the Asgardian was. "Since Tony Stark is dead here. What happened to his daughter?" He already knew that he was going to probably have to face himself, and didn't know how that would go. How many of the others would have to deal with meeting themselves? How many would have a version they couldn't recognize?

"Well I didn't get a chance to feed him last night. I'm not sure what all he actually eats. Let alone have any food really to give him except at meals. I'll have to see if the store has like dog food I can take with me so I can keep him fed on the road." She said mostly to Kiera.

"Who doesn't like bacon." Andy said smiling. Then she nodded, "Yeah we should go to the store." She shifted a little. She wanted a few more moments alone with Arthur. Just to savor that time. She didn't blame Kiera for coming over, but it made it hard to talk to Arthur. To tell him how much she would miss him. It was frustrating they had just sworn to each other that they wouldn't split up and here they were having to split up.

"Yeah." Niah said her face brightening. She was still waking up, and didn't want to be around the Greeks, which was a normal opinion. Maybe she'd get used to the Greeks having to travel with two of them to save Terminus. "Sorry, my brain is a bit of mush." She apologized standing and going with Mads and Nancy. It was easier to talk with her friends without others around too.

"We should find a picnic spot or something. Somewhere quiet." She balanced her plate on her cup and followed Mads and Nancy out of the dining area. She shook her head trying to clear it of the last of the sleepy confusion she had. It was like the dream of California had caused her to lose track of where she was almost. She missed the Lares. She missed the hills. She missed the damn coffee shop. She didn't even like coffee.

Andy hadn't planned on dealing with this sort of conversation. But here it was. At least Sunshine was mostly letting it drop. She gave a shrug at the offer of Sunshine playing matchmaker. Andy considered herself bisexual, but really up to this point, she hadn't gone around dating much. She appreciated Harry trying to draw Sunshine's attention away from her. And then her heart sunk. Zari didn't know what it meant. She had feared this, but no one answered. So she took a deep breath.

"Okay...uh. I spent a few years growing up in California, they are really chill there, well at least where I was. Not so much in like the part of California near the Oregon border. Those guys are super religious. But in San Franciso, it's more chill. So this is what it has been explained to me as." Part of her education about sex had been in the dorms at Northwood, but she really didn't want to think about that time of her life. San Francisco was easier to think about.

"Imagine sexuality, in this case, sexual attraction to people as a spectrum. On one end you have people who will..uh... you know with anyone. They aren't picky. They can be pushy sometimes too if you're not careful." She shook her head thinking about the Folsom Fair and Bay to Breakers. Her foster parents had never actually let her go to either, but she knew enough.

"Then there are a whole lot of other types from there to Ace. A person who is ace doesn't experience sexual attraction. Like they can, in some cases I guess, still think someone is pretty. But to them, that's like art. Like the water lilies is a great painting but I don't want to have sex with it. Some of them are even sex-repulsed though. For whatever reason. Might be they just think it is icky or they have trauma. Or maybe they only like kissing and cuddling, and that fulfills their needs. Everything is a spectrum, no two people are going to be the same. And that's just sexual attraction." She really didn't want to get into gender.

"Hurt her and you'll regret it." Rose snarled. Her heart felt like it was constricting in her chest, maybe moving up into her throat itself. She didn't want to grab a weapon. Worried the motion would cause the man to hurt Cass. She was not okay with the prospect of Cassi being hurt.

What would Robin do? Would he let this prisoner go if it meant protecting Cassi? If that happened what would Rose do? She knew what she would do if he killed Cassi. She'd kill him. "You can't kill her. You'll lose your bargaining chip." She said, her voice a bit calmer now. "What do you want?" She wasn't promising anything. This man and his compatriots had attacked them.

Oh. Colby wasn't certain how to take that. Did that mean his mom just wasn't in the picture? Or was she someone his dad was close to? He had a lot of very personal questions but decided to keep a lid on them for now. Considering his luck with drinking he decided he wouldn't partake at this time.

He looked down at the table thinking. His look matched Maddie's without realizing it. Then he looked back up smiling. "I hope to attend a tea party soon." Could they stop Maleficent and bring back a time of plenty? He wanted to. He wanted to help the people here that were clearly in dispare. He wanted magic back in the world in the hands of the people. He couldn't believe that even mundane card tricks had been forbidden and that was just tyranny. You couldn't stop fun like that.

Niah sank into the hug. "To be fair it wasn't raining when you left me." She said. Then stood up and turned to watch Folly and Darcy talk. Explaining how the world was different. She shivered a little at the idea. The deviation point made sense. There had been a fight between Ironman and Cap. That wasn't new information even. However, the fight happened much later and ended...more peacefully. Niah had abstained from the fight.

"Why is Freya called Mad queen? And when you say the younger do you mean Tony?" There was an even younger option, Niah couldn't see Guin Stark as President but weirder things could happen. She was also surprised to hear that Magneto and Xavier were working together. That was unexpected. However, her modified memories told a very unpleasant tale about Genosha. She wanted more details about that. "Though more importantly what can you tell us about Genosha? Since we're heading there. Should we expect detectors announcing we are mutants?" Or not in the case of a few of their members. Bonnie was human, Oliver, Matt, and Amelia were inhuman. If they required Mutant status how would they be handled?

Niah also figured Genosha would be where Luminous and Doom would head. Luminous by virtue of Magneto being there. Doom...well she had no idea where he would go. She wished Susan was with them. "And do the Fantastic Four exist here?" Part of her hoped not if they did then Doom did and if Doom did then there would be two Doom's running around and that was a whole lot of Doom.

"Will do." Matt said quietly while giving Cass's hand a gentle squeeze. He listened to what mostly Darcy had to say about the differences in the world. Knowing the world leaders was good. And any other major players. "Are there any other major players?" He couldn't exactly ask 'that are different than ours' since how would she know, but it would give them an idea.

Matt was also interested in anything that might have happened in the last 48-hours or so. Who would Luminous and Doom go to? Luminous likely would go to Magento. Matt didn't know much about Doom. What he did know was Genosha was not someplace he ever thought he'd spend some time. What his brain seemed to know about Genosha here was it’s a violent separatist mutant-only nation, that didn't seem to have a personal vendetta against Inhumans. The violent part was particularly concerning. He wasn't surprised that Raynor was associated with them considering his history. Something the rest of the team should learn about.

"You should all know why Raynor is the Iron's most wanted criminal."

Outside felt better. Felt less constricting. And then the other shoe dropped and they explained that Mary had died here. "Yeah, we should go with you. We aren't getting our ship out of the lake anytime soon. Should see about decommissioning Danger or something." He didn't like the idea of leaving her like that. Xavier's school was the shiny polished version of Mutants for the world to see. He could understand why there would be an issue around a death like that. Ed didn't know much about Mary's family, by choice. He hadn't wanted to get close to the people here. He just wanted to get away from home and all the memories of his sister.

"We are traveling with other people. We don't know where they ended up. However, we know they are still alive." He didn't give location information or how many others they had with them. Let alone that one of them was Pietro who had apparently almost killed Mary and had succeeded at killing her in this world. That was not a conversation Ed wanted to have. Mary seemed fine working with Pietro and that was her choice.

"Any other world-shattering events that might be different? Like the World Trade center, Thanos destroying Cardiff, M-Virus you know the standard stuff?" He already knew the answer to the Thanos question, wishing he didn't, but it gave a baseline. He let them lead the way to their vehicle. The three of them would have to sit in the back since no one particularly wanted to sit squished into a seat with Rogue. Assuming Wolverine was driving. He also didn't particularly want to sit squished next to Wolverine either.

Well, that explained the...friendly...nature of Thalia and Jade's relationship. They had known each other prior, that had been obvious, and apparently, that was because they had killed an Asgardian together. Cool.

He listened as the group discussed what they knew. Mary had a way better idea than the others. Though it still wasn't as much as they had hoped. One of them needed to send a message out, and let Alexander know what they had found out. They had completed the mission technically. He would have liked to have more information. But they knew where Magneto's base of operations was, they knew some of who worked for them, and they had even made contact with the small group of survivors.

Ed was perfectly happy stretching their mission parameters. Killing Magento would be a great way to deal with the problem. "Jade, Thalia, either of you want to find a quiet place to send a message to Alex? We haven't checked in yet and he's probably started to get concerned." He asked. Jade was the better choice in his mind. She had a good head for details. He turned to Mary, "Thank you for the additional information. I think we should start with recon. We have two days. If we can spare someone to go to the City Hall to look at records I believe that would be a good idea." Someone who was less fight-y with someone who could protect them would be a good choice. He'd let the group decide for themselves though. "As for the rest of us. I'd like to get an idea of numbers and what sort of powers. While at the City Hall see if there is an underground route into the building. What sort of powers do you all have? So we know what we are working with." They all had to have something since otherwise, they'd be dead.

Ed hadn't officially met Rogue but knew who she was. And had met the Wolverine in their world. They seemed to both know him here though. Not only that but it sounded like he was working with them, which was a bit relieving. He hadn't particularly cared for what he had gathered from the weird memories. He had hoped he hadn't broken his family laws here.

"Maybe we should have this conversation outside?" Bethany had gotten to the heart of it thankfully. He just didn't want to see if Danger was going to wake back up with a nasty headache and decide to take it out on them. He had a sinking feeling too, one he really hoped wasn't true. He glanced at the elevator that the hologram Bloom had gone through.

He stepped outside away from Danger. Hoping the others would follow behind. Hoping they wouldn't see his hands shake. What had happened to this world? Where had it gone awry? He knew the version of himself here, in this world, was dangerous. He knew he had made a choice that Ed hadn't made and had never thought he could make. Had he been pulled back from it though? Was the fact that he clearly was working with Wolverine a good thing? Or had Wolverine gone to extremism?

Niah let Maria take over leading and they exited out and found the ship that had been descending on them thanks to Celestine's stupid idea. It had panned out and she might have to apologize to her for not trusting it. She jogged, thankful to have her leg back, onto the ship. Not daring to give out a sigh of relief. It would be asking for trouble if she did. Niah knew better.

She ignored Sparky. If she wanted to have the fight that was brewing so be it. Niah would tell her what happened in House of M and how she knew and why she had thought Nova, Sparky's BEST FRIEND, would have told her before it became relevant. Niah had no part in the fight with Raynor though. That was on him. Niah had tried to tell Sparky as soon as it had become obvious that she hadn't known and it was relevant, but she had been told to wait. If Sparky insisted on acting like a child then that was her prerogative, but Niah wasn't going to put up with it.

As soon as she saw Oliver tension left her shoulders. "Glad you aren't dead." She said smiling at him. Niah smiled more these days.

Matt nodded and leaned a little into Cass. Not a hug, but just pressure. To feel the warmth of her and know that she was okay. It was relieving. Being separated had caused some anxiety he hadn't been prepared for. "She seems more stable." He joked. Then followed Niah, until Maria took over.

Outside, seeing the stolen ship was a total relief. It was hope. He followed Bonnie onto the ship and out of the wind and cold rain. He was surprised that Oli, Amelia, and Celestine had been able to get a ship so quickly. He nodded smiling at Amelia, surprised to not see her at the controls. That felt weird. Behind the controls was where she belonged. His smile turned into a frown of confusion. "Hey, you're not the one flying the ship?" He said, though it was more question than a statement.

Andy shifted, uncomfortable under Sunshine's questioning. This wasn't a conversation she had planned on having. Andy didn't like being the center of attention either. She preferred to disappear into the crowd and be generally ignored. But now several people were having a very pointed conversation with her.

It did not help that Zari appeared to be totally clueless about anything close to smacking of relationship stuff. Andy was perfectly happy to just be there. She was pretty impulsive for most things. Usually, once she had made up her mind to do a thing she did it. She had not made up her mind yet. And since Zari was, well, her confusion about the conversation was clear enough that Zari hadn't thought about it made Andy want to ignore the whole thing. She looked hopelessly at Sunshine and Harry.

"Not a conversation we've had." She half mumbled out. "You can imagine I wasn't concerned about..." She trailed off and gestured to outside the lounge's confines. In reality, she hadn't even considered the potential for backlash from the community. She didn't know how Magento would take it since he was so much older. She had a feeling no one else would look twice though.

"More...I don't..." She looked at Zari, her face very warm at this point. How the heck was she supposed to say she didn't even know if Zari knew what kissing was, and if she did was it something she was interested in? The crush, as far as Andy had figured since she had even realized she had one, which hadn't been terribly long, was completely one-sided.

"I sort of figured you were Ace." She said to Zari, trying to not talk about her since she was right there, then looked at Sunshine and shrugged. She mentally begged Sunshine to explain what Ace was if Zari didn't know. Please do not make her explain the birds and bees to her. Andy would die right then if she had to. Expire from the sheer embarrassment of it all.
