"I will." She swore. It didn't have the weight of a vow, but she knew she'd do everything she could to keep it. Andy kept it together as she let go of Arthur and stood to face the older kids surrounding them. She knew they had all been watching her and Arthur hug, and she was a bit embarrassed about it. But she also didn't care. Arthur was her best friend and they were about to be separated and she didn't want them to part without a good hug.

She saw Mary and the new girl, Stella, if she remembered correctly, heading their way. She waved. Next, all they needed were Mads and Niah and she thought that would be everyone going on the quests. Andy adjusted her own backpack. Once they approached she said. "I think Niah went to get Mads and Nancy and let them know the meeting was over." She explained, half to Jason and half to Stella since they were the two going with Niah.

"And I found you because I know my friend's footprints and followed them." Niah smiled, though it seemed particularly forced at the moment. To Mads it would be clear she was worried. "You should probably get cleaned up before you get to the Big House. You look a bit like death warmed over." Niah told Demi.

"The voting finished and everyone who had any votes worth anything is on the quest to the Hotel. You may find this as a surprise, but Demetri you won the vote. Your sister's friend advocated nicely for you to be the liaison." Niah explained. "I told Chiron he'd have to just assign someone in that case, at least for now. And hopefully, there is no need for a longer liaison than that." Maybe in the future it would be good for cultural exchange between the two groups, but that was a future problem when the Romans had their own home again.

She waited for Demi to stand, whether he took Mads offered hand or not. Then started making her way to the Big House, avoiding the beach. She'd let Nancy and Zeke continue their conversation in hopefully uninterrupted privacy for now.

Whatever Sparky was thinking Niah didn't want to fight her friend. Not if she could help it. Raynor thankfully distracted her. She went to evaluate what was happening with the fight when Maria kicked Hercules into a support beam. The whole building collapsed. Niah threw her arms over her head to try to protect it.

Niah thought at this point she was used to seeing those she loved die. She was surprised she was able to avoid being buried. Looking around she tried to see who she could help. The most visible person was Bonnie. The world froze for a moment as she took in the horror that was her friend, dead, again. That was the last straw. It didn't matter anymore. Niah was done working for SHIELD. She couldn't bear it. Even though she had taken the break and thought she could handle it. She couldn't. Not anymore. This would be her last mission.

Then Bonnie moved and removed the iron bar that was in her skull. Niah closed her eyes and counted to ten. Thinking of the fear bear. She took a slow breath. And opened her eyes hoping this was all a hallucination. It wasn't. Where was Oli? She closed her eyes again. Trying to shut it out. Her heart rate rocketed. "Oliver!" She cried out. Begging the universe to let him be okay. And let this nightmare end.

Matt wasn't about to get cocky with this fight. If he slipped up even a little bit this guy would shread him. He was odd, the man in white. His voice and outfit changed with his fighting style. Matt didn't know what to think about that. But it meant to him he'd have to be even more on his toes. Maybe the guy could do even more different styles.

It didn't matter though. The building collapsed around them. Matt was lucky and was able to extract himself from the rubble. He looked around but didn't see Cass. "Shit." He cursed, ignoring the blood coming from his forehead. He figured it probably looked worse than it was since head wounds always bleed like crazy. That was a later problem. "Cass!" He shouted, hoping for some sign that she was okay.

He saw Niah, crying out for Oliver, which meant he was probably buried too. And he saw movement. Saw that Bonnie was the source of it. And saw that something was very wrong with that situation. He shunted that to the side to look for Cass. That, like his bleeding forehead, was a later problem. After he found Cass he'd worry about other things.

As he searched though, he slipped and dislodged some of the rubble. It came tumbling down around him. Now he was like most of the others, trapped.

"Shut up." Ed snapped at Sabretooth and started running. He needed to get distance between himself and the commotion. He couldn't be certain but he figured Guin was behind that. It meant though that a whole lot of people were starting to be drawn to it though.

He took off, dragging the bubble along with him, floating it in the air. It was funny watching Sabretooth in Guin's body be basically useless. He was able to get away without being noticed or intercepted. He hoped Guin would come back soon so they could get underground again. He felt a little too exposed at the moment.

"This isn't our world. We don't belong here." He said to Klara. "We need to find the rest of our group and find a way to get back to our world. We have our own battles to fight there." She wasn't wrong, there was so much fighting. He turned to Beth and gave her the direction of the others, and about how far away they were. "Sorry I can't give coordinates or anything. I'd need different tools for that." He didn't have a map of the city in his pocket.

He listened to Frost and wasn't surprised by her answer. He wasn't even surprised that his counterpart worked with her. Keeping the status quo was useless. This place needed someone in charge. And while Ed wasn't certain how Magneto was here, if he was anything like the one back home working for him was not something Ed would consider doing. And their differences weren't that much. Not really. So he didn't blame Mage. Even though this wasn't his battlefield. But that was the way it was.

Rose, entering back onto the path, frowned and shook her head. "I got turned around. But I think I hear something that way." She pointed the way the deer went. "I'll see if that is where she went. Also, Merlin." She said, coming close to the wizard and saying quietly. "I feel like someone is watching me. I didn't say anything about the wolves and I noticed them early so I feel bad. Maybe it is me being freaked out, maybe it is important."

She moved away, in the direction of the deer and the sound. She came soon to a lake where Rosalia was beside some man who seemed out of it, either Rosalia had just given him a good knock over the head, or he was waking up from some other concussion causing reason. [color=#cdb7b5]"Hey,"[color] She said, shortly after seeing them. "I was sent to look for you." She avoided using names since she didn't know what was happening, but made it clear she was talking to Rosalia. "Hello sir. Do you need help?" She wasn't offering help technically, just asking if he needed it.

Colby, like Willow and Matthew, had already changed so there was no need for him to leave the room. He shook his head at Willow a little sadly. He could explain all the nuances of cat body language to her later. Maybe she could learn how to not get scratched. Cat's only scratched when their boundaries weren't being respected. And much like rattlesnakes, they gave plenty of warning. But this wasn't the time for that conversation.

"I'll go to the vault." Colby volunteered. "I memorized the teleportation spell, so hopefully, after we grab the thing I can teleport us out of there." He paused. "Oh, how many people does that allow to teleport with me?" He asked, pulling the book over to him and opening it before finding the spell he had just memorized. "I can teleport two people with me, but they have to have direct contact with me to do it. We can have a rendezvous location for if things go good, and another if things go bad. The bad one should be nowhere near this shop."

Andy listened as Magneto spoke. She was used to constructive criticism of her fighting so she nodded along. He wasn't wrong either. It took time though, and fighting together could become a language on its own. They had to learn each other's strengths and weaknesses. Andy shifted, she wanted to ask Magento to help her learn how to use her power to de-magnetize stuff. But she also felt like that would be...asking for trouble.

"There are a couple of things I want to test. Ideas I have but am worried about using without practice. Is there a place I could try them out?" It was a safe way of asking for help. She'd try the magnet stuff without him there, but space would be a start. Her power could be more dangerous than she had ever given it credit for. Not that she hadn't been worried about how deadly it was before today. But now she knew she could use it at a larger range in the right setting.

Andy put a smile on her face. Letting it cover her nervousness. "Yep. I'm ready." She said nodding. She had carefully packed her bag, and most of her stuff like her dagger was always with her. She had gotten used to fighting in tandem with Arthur and was nervous about having to fight without him. Even though she knew he hated going into fights. She enjoyed the fights against monsters. She wouldn't admit that to Arthur though.

She shifted and looked out at the camp. Looking for signs of Mary or Mads heading their way. She wanted to ask if they'd wait until her quest partners showed up. She also figured they'd have to since they'd all be going in the camp vehicle to town.

Andy looked at Arthur suddenly, she opened her mouth to say something but paused remembering the others were nearby. She closed her mouth and instead hugged Arthur. "Be safe." She whispered. There was so much more she wanted to say. Wanted to tell him that she wanted him to come back no matter what it took. But she also didn't want him to break himself in the process. She wanted Arthur as he was.

Niah moved farther away. Not wanting to intrude on the conversation. She did notice that Mads wasn't there. Niah had figured that after finding Zeke, which Mads clearly had, she would have joined with them to discuss this. She looked around trying to see signs of where Mads might have gone.

She glanced up and down the beach and couldn't see her anywhere. Niah wondered if maybe she was elsewhere and then she looked down and saw footprints that matched Mads. She nodded and started following them into the woods. Until she found Mads talking with the Son of Jupiter. Well, that made it convenient.

"Rosie saw the same vision." She said to both of them. "You should head to the Big House." She told Demi.

Niah hadn't expected Sparky to attack her. Sure, they probably weren't on the best of terms at the moment, but that seemed uncalled for. The group as a whole was going to need group therapy. Maybe that should be something SHIELD started to require of its field teams. Because fuck this was getting ridiculous.

The pain that coursed through Niah when she was hit with the electricity from Sparky almost caused her to blackout. It wasn't the worst pain she had experienced, but it was bad enough that she almost disassociated from the situation. "What the fuck Sparky? Can we focus on the problem at hand? How was I supposed to know Novi hadn't told you?" That honestly seemed like the only reason Niah could think that Sparky would want to attack her. She wasn't going to attack back though.

Niah took a few steps back, trying to put distance between her and Sparky. She was lucky she was still standing. And the armor, as nice it had seemed didn't seem to be able to handle the power behind Sparky's rage. At least it hadn't stopped being a leg.

"Well isn't that accurate." Matt said in response to the man in white's comment about nothing making sense. He certainly felt like half the time he was being dragged along by much smarter people who had a way better grasp of what was going on then he did. This whole mess was one of those days. At least he knew they were in a different universe though.

The man hit like a truck though. And Matt found himself being worn down by the sheer force of the blows. When knocked to the ground, his breathing restricted by his now broken nose, he saw the man's foot coming down on him. And Cass distracting him. He rolled away and looked over the man's costume. There was no exposed skin. Even with the strange costume change. Matt was used to dramatic shows of power. But sometimes it was the subtle ones that were more disturbing.

He grabbed the weapon the man had thrown, pulling it from the wall. Holding it, and testing its weight, he now knew exactly how to wield it. He moved in attacking the man cleanly. But the man countered with another weapon, a crescent dagger. Matt was starting to get an idea about him.

Ed touched Bethany and Mary gently. Orange light then surrounded each of them. After a moment the light disappeared and their wounds would be better. He sighed. "I know where the others are. Or at least were a few minutes ago." He was ready to leave this damn building and reunite with the others. He wanted to go home. This place was hurting his head. The memories pressing against him were uncomfortable and while it wasn't totally different it was different enough. He couldn't really trust himself.

While Ed healed the two from his team. Mage healed Nightlock and Klara. Stepping up to them matching Ed's motions. His orange light surrounds his pair. And they too are healed of their wounds. "So you will be on your way then?" Mage asked as the orange light left the room completely.

"I think that's for the best." Ed said glancing at Mary. "I don't know about you, but I don't particularly want to wait around for Juggernaut to return." Ed looked at Klara next. Wanting to ask her to come with them to meet the others. He wanted to see if her meeting her "counterpart" would help the situation. He hoped that it would fix whatever was wrong. Though, a part of him feared it wouldn't help the situation, but only make it worse.

Ed's head hurt. His whole body hurt. Honestly, he was rather done with this whole situation and it was a good thing for Sabertooth that he was in Guin's body and not his own. As rage coursed through him. He slowed down, took a breath, stood up and orange light emanated from his hands wrapping around Guin's body.

He made the substance of the bubble soft and pliable. Then lifted it slightly off the ground. Sabertooth was now basically in a floating hamsterwheel. Ed could dispel it when Guin returned. But for now, he didn't feel like getting his ass kicked when he couldn't fight back. He left the alley and started back the way they had come, bringing Guin's body along. Time to get out of here. There was no way that wasn't going to attract attention.
